Great hot pot, fresh ingredients and good quality.Everything we received with the hot pot was freshly prepared and good in taste. The meat was thinly sliced and went super well with their choice of soup.The drinks have been good as well.As for the staff, they’re helpful, even though I believe the explanation of the hot pot experience could be better for someone who never tried it before.Apart from that it’s definitely recommended.

Probably one of the most authentic restaurant/izakaya in Dubai for variety of Japanese food. The prices won’t eat you alive like in most of the Dubai good eateries. It was my first visit to Fujiya ... its located besides the millennium airport Hotel.I was invited on one of the great honorable person Mr. Leo And madam Amanda.There were such a great people ...now we are become good friends like a ideal friends family .I enjoyed the food , ice cream and much more ,, .

My family and friends went to Fujiya downtown. We had bbq buffet and it’s recommended. The food were so amazing. The atmosphere were brilliant. Also, the staff were so friendly and attentive. The quality and the taste of the meat were great. Definitely, we will visit there again during winter because you can only do bbq outside and it was a bit hot and humid now. If we could make bbq inside, it would be awesome.

Great barbecue experience! Their Wagyu Beef was seasoned well. I tried two different variations along with meat and chock balls. All three were really tasty and the portions were more than enough for two people. I enjoyed their fried chicken and fried beef too. Authentic Japanese taste and one that you will remember. I also liked the Fujiya salad which was refreshing and light yet so full of flavours. However I didn’t enjoy the fried banana with ice cream not because it wasn’t delicious. It is just that I don’t like banana in my dessert. This is definitely somewhere I will go again

One of the best Japenese Restaurant here in Dubai. You will feel the authentic Japanese experience. The hotpot is super the best. The beef is perfectly sliced thinly. I love the salad and all sides in the buffet. The staff is so accommodating, especially the waitress whose name is Lyn. Shes so polite, she assist us very well from the moment we arrived until we left. Checking us every now and then. We really felt at home. Its good to have staff like her. Definitely I will come back soon and will try next time the Bbq. Highly recommended.

I absolutely love this place, went with my friend and ended up being and eating there for 4 hours. Portions are good tasty food with very wide selection of food with many options like sushi, sashimi, rice, noodles. Friendly and attentive staff, this place has an ambience very similar to traditional places in Japan simple and cute also outdoor sitting available. Will definitely come back when my sister comes to visit me

Japanese barbeque, its one of my favorites. Great place, outdoor dining perfect for winter weather. Staff are friendly and check on you to make sure everything is okay. The marinated beef is highly recommended.

Stopped for a quick bite and happy to tell that place has some good Japanese food. Try their BBQ and Bento lunch from 12 -4 pm. Fried beef cutlets and Fujiya Maki rolls are tasty. Couldnt take the photos of food as we were too hungry to wait :)

Really lovely Japanese restaurant! I went with my friend and we enjoyed the beef hot pot, with the chicken and beef tempura starters, we had as well some sushi and to close the day, the banana tempura with ice cream for dessert. We eat a lot 🙊 and we did love everything!Service is great, very attentive and polite, and the athmosphere is relax (we are outside in the terrace, taking advantage of the good weather). If you have never being in Japan, you need to come this place and experience it, it will not disappoint you.

I was there with a friend for lunch few days ago. We had great time, great food, from the salad and a selection of sushi and sashimi to start, to the raw beef that we cooked on the spot. we closed with fried banana and ice cream with chocolate syrup, delicious. Most authentic Japanese food weve had since arriving in Dubai from Japan 5 years ago. Even though the ramen uses a chicken broth instead of pork (of course) it still had the savory umami flavor that you expect. The karage was legit and the highlight for me was the perfect takoyaki.

Authentic Japanese food, a feast for he eyes and palate. my family thoroughly enjoyed dishes they might not usually try. Liver not a personal favourite was sublime and we ordered seconds! Even vegetable tempura that my kids considered a waste to order was supremely delicious.

Very attentive service, friendly staff! Meat quality is below average in my opinion, the A5 Japanese wagyu is not tender and very little fat, which makes the meat pretty dry. Maybe I had a bad luck, but i probably wont come back.

Decent experience. Quantity of food was less for Id say. Taste wise, we quite enjoyed it. They have some unique beers that are worth a try.They do however try to avoid using entertainer. I had to actually persuade them to use my entertainer voucher. They were ready to give me a discount without the entertainer but i had to explain that the entertainer smiles points was the reason we went there in the first place. In the end they reluctantly unlocked it for us.

Fujiya located inside millennium airport hotel is truly a hidden gem.Their hot pot and bbq is an experience you shouldnt miss.Loved loved their karaage chicken (japanese fried chicken).We also loved their salads,sushi rolls and meat cutlets.Service was quick and atmosphere is very relaxing.

Ive never tried Japanese hot pot before and I really didnt have any expectations since the closest thing Ive had to it is vietnamese pho.... I must say, I am very happy to have tried this place and I will definitely be back. The wagyu meat was fresh and the soup (broth) you cook it in was very flavorful.This is also a licensed restaurant and they have sake. Will be back very soon with some friends.

We went in for lunch buffet, and it was an amazingly fun food experience.The restaurant is located in Millennium Hotel, and has a seperate entrance. It has both outdoor and indoor seating.As soon as you walk in, you are transported to a Japanese experience with a complete different ambience. The cherry blossom near the bar area, the nintendo images, the lanterns are all very reminiscent of Japanese culture.We sat down to experience an amazing food and service experience. Ashley, was knowledgeable, and was kind enough to take us through our hot pot experience, and ordering our soups.We ordered miso and super spicy soup. We were bought a bowl of fresh vegetables & mushrooms along with sesame sauce and a soy vinegar sauce. The cutlery used is also very authentic to Japanese cuisine.We then had the soups bought over and kept on thr hotpot. One by one the vegetables went in and then the wagyu strips. It was fun, and tasted extremely delish. I absolutely loved it!We also had the Fujiya salad with a homemade sauce. I couldnt stop going in for seconds. We had the beef cutlet which was crisp and yumm. Along with Japanese fried chicken. The chicken was exceptional.We also had Teriyaki sushi which was really good.To go with the food, we had hot Jasmine tea and some ginger ale.For dessert we had fried banana with icecream. It was pretty novel for me, but i enjoyed the experience thoroughly.I loved the signage for wastage, every 200 gm will be fined 50 dhs. It is a good initiative.The staff is friendly and very hospitable. The food is amazing and it definitely on my list of favourites.

I have visited Fujia with friends and it was my first experience with Japanese food. I like it so much.We tried Wagyu Beef and more interesting that we were making barbecue.It’s so cool.We enjoyed time happy with food specially good Fujia salad very light and delicious.We also liked dessert-Fried bananas with ice cream- incredible. Definitely we will come back again and recommend to all.

It was my first time visiting Fujiya Restaurant after reading loads of great things about it. It’s a traditional Japanese restaurant offering the most affordable hot pot using entertainer with unlimited Australian wagyu beef for only 100AED per person! 🤯 It also included unlimited sides. We stayed for 3 hours. The staff are super friendly the food quality is fantastic. I only wish I had visited sooner!

Always a pleasure dining at Fujiya.This is a true hidden gem, I love how it’s located in the quieter part of the city and is also quite close to the airport and has a metro station near by.They’re pretty authentic when it comes to taste & presentation, also since it’s located inside the millennium hotel this venue is licensed.The ramen and sushi and gyoza from the main menu are great; but the steal deal lies in the hotpot and bbq deal, for which they offer an unlimited table serve buffet that includes mains, ad starters all of which is free flowing however food wastage isn’t appreciated and one should be mindful when ordering.The hotpot is available all year long and so is the Bbq, just the Bbq is only allowed in the garden area and as cooler months approach it’s the best thing to do with family and friends.I always say the more then merrier here. It’s a sharing experience!Make sure to order the marinated wagyu cause that’s my favorite. They use prime quality meat and it truly reflects in the taste.The staff is super nice and attentive!

Have been to Fujiya for dinner and or fall in calm and quiet Garhoud area 5 min from the Dubai international airport, Nice location, good ambiance indoors and outdoor space to enjoy your meal.Food are nice yet can be improved specially with new menu items just added this March.Price is very reasonable vs other Japanese restaurant inside hotels so overall good place to be specially for couples and friends.

We came here for an authentic Japanese dinner and we really enjoyed it. My husband ordered the unlimited Japanese Wagyu Beef BBQ and I ordered the Chicken Dumplings and Salmon Sushi. For drinks we ordered the Calpis Soda and Jasmin Tea (cold) and for dessert Matcha Roll and Fried Matcha Ice cream. It was really lovely and the staff here are great and explain the menu well. This is the place of Japanese food lovers.

I had a bad experience at fujiya swissotel, my husband and I ate there to relax but with my simple instruction to the waitress she couldnt follow she decided for my order. I asked her but her attitude was ugly, the waitress was poorly trained. and she dont know how to explained your food. please fixed this kind of attitude we are the costumer please treat us well. by the way the food is great and amazing not sure if I recommend your place.

Japanese food here is often a pretentious affiar , with restaurants emphasizing style over substance, not Fujiya. I lived in Tokyo for two years, and the food here took me right back. The sukiyaki was superb - a wonderfully balanced broth paired beautifully with delicate slices of wagyu beef. Virtually all of the menu boasts authentic flavors, providing a true Japanese dining experience without being pretentious. On the contrary, the atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, with the owner personally ensuring people were satisfied. We were that and more, Im already looking forward my next meal here. A new favorite for sure - well done Fujiya!

One thing I’ve learnt in life if you go to restaurant and you see people from the culture or country eating... you know you are in the right place. The Sushi was excellent quality. Shabu Shabu was to die for. It’s the first restaurant I’ve eaten in after the whole lock-down and they are sticking to the regulations and social distancing. However, you still get a feel that you are in a local restraint in Japan! Credit to them. Amazing!

Decor, style, menu, entrance, they all blend together effortlessly to convey that authentic Japanese eatery vibe. Loved the place.The restaurant is located inside a hotel, yet you have to go outside it and into a narrow street to reach the entrance, I find this annoying and dangerous. Also, the reception at the hotel was plain rude.

Great food, especially enjoyed the sushi rolls (different from maki rolls) and the hotpot. We went for the 2 best selling soups that boil in the hotpot and they were both really good. Drinks and flood menu have a lot of variety. Everything was full of flavor, must try!

Been here multiple times for both buffet hotpot and al la carte. No doubt they serve one of the most authentic Japanese food in Dubai, but I hope they will improve their service. Waitresses often gather to chat and not paying attention to us.

The atmosphere is good. The staff is exemplary. I have to admit that, my all time favorite, katsu curry rice is not as high standard as I expected but its still good and have its own merits that I like. I manage to finished it all.The karage might be to bland to taste and a a bit oily. I feel like they forgot some key ingredients there.The ebi tempura is underwhelming and your first bite will feel somewhat lack substance. I was surprised that theirs a white crystal flakes on the side, at first i thought maybe salt but it was a ajinomoto seasoning. I like it coz it kinda added some much needed flavor of the tempura.I might go back and check out some items in their menu, hopefully I can find some new favorites in this place.

Fujiya is an exciting new entrant in the F&B scene in Dubai and a valuable addition to the already interesting F&B collection of Millennium Airport hotel. Despite the location in the 4* Airport hotel, Fujiya have kept the prices on check which is a good thing. Service is warm, friendly and quick. The operations are overseen by the Director Akio who is also the sole custodian of the brand in UAE and under his constant scrutiny, the staff deliver the best of service. Definitely worth checking out. ...

Their Wagu beaf is amazing. The different seasoning on Wagyu really compliments and they grill right in front of you which is amazing.I recommend to try it atleast once. Its a bit high in price but worth trying.Expect approx. AED 400 in a bill.

Gave me food poisoning. Overall, food was really oily, tables were sticky. Gyoza was tasty, but the ramen was excessively salty, greasy and overly garlicky with chicken fat bits floating on top (prefer these blitzed into the broth). If you want an upset belly, order the gyoza and ramen.

This restaurant is always my favorite for meat BBQ. We were one of several customers who had meal when they were newly opened and I could see the increase of guest visiting this place. That only means FOOD IS GREAT! And indeed it is great. From BBQ buffet, side dishes and drink options were perfect to have for empty stomach or even just spending quality time with friend. It is just a shame summer is coming again and sitting and grilling outside will be limited! But this is one of highly recommended restaurant in Dubai. Looking forward to visit their sister resto-Kimura-ya!

Started off with their famous shobu shobu, Australian Wagyu thinly sliced, cooked in front of you in a hot boiling pot with the vegetable broth, from the pan into the sesame or vinegar dressing and straight to your mouth.The Sushi was delicious and their crispy mackerel is one that would enjoy. Note the fish was imported from all the way from Japan. They even serve premium Saki. The service is excellent, they make you feel special. Overall its a great place to enjoy authentic Japanese cuisine.

This is a hidden gem with wide selection of authentic Japanese cuisine on the side of hotel near Dubai airport. I tried the salmon sashimi and a spicy tuna roll. The sashimi was fresh and delicious. The spicy tuna roll was just ok as one of the toppings was not to my liking. The service was excellent. I’d come back and try other dishes.
