Hotel Ravi - A Pakistan restaurant with fantastic cuisine. We had Mutton Peshawari and Roti, Chicken Tikka - all were superb tasty and nicely prepared.Staff is responsive, and you can ask for customization such as less salt, spicier. Pocket-friendly and suitable for kids and family. This restaurant following covids guidine, plenty of spaces. Restroom is also available.Altogether:Ambiance: 5/5Staff: 5/5Food Quality: 5/5Pocket Friendly: 5/5Happiness : 5/5
Good food in reasonable price we order muglai chicken but it not exactly the muglai but taste is good
I didnt like the service i ask for spicy food and thy delivered without it whn i asked abt this says will compensate in next order i would hv been happyTo hear if it could be replacedI hv made up mind never to order food again
You should have to try peshawari, kebabs, haleem and jalfarezi. Taste is very nice and price is affordable 👌
Delicious, Try Bihari kabab and haleem
Finally ethintic Ravi resturant in fresh and good shape
It was always been my favourite in terms of taste, but my recent visit has now forced me to change it from 4 starts to 1 star due to below reasons -1. Improper hygiene (very very BAD)2. Slow service3. Same waiter who took your order is responsible for further additions to the order or even asking for roti/water/drink. If you ask some other waiter, it wont help. So you need to remember the face of the waiter who took your order.4. Food quality has gone down.5. Family area is available, but they force us to use the main area always. All in all, Ravi had been my go to restaurant since the last 20 odd years, but its time to say Good Bye !!
Amazing food. The Nihari and butter chicken are unbelievable. However, the prices are more expensive than the other branch.
Had Mutton Peshawari, Chicken Thikka and Haleem in dinner, the food was fine but AC cooling was not proper. In the hot summer people need a nice cool place to enjoy their food.
Let me summarize this quick. This outlet in Karama should get more attention than the nearby restaurants in the area. Cuisine is amazing, wonderful staff, take-away or dine-in experience is one of a kind. Most important fact is that they do listen to the requests such as, less salt in the food, less oil , less spice (not for my wife as she loves spicy food than me).
Nice food dal tadka yummy service was (mr. saikot) fantastic, filling in house
I dont this restaurant has any relevance to the original Ravi. The peshawari to the tikka to the seekh had no taste resemblance to the good old days of Ravi. Was disappointed with their taste. It WAS one of the few good and affordable Pakistani restaurants. Now its just an ordinary restaurant.
Great Food Items with Roti (bread)
Very bad experience at Ravi ,Karama. Hospitality they providing is disappointing and the staff behavior is poor and rude. We left the restaurant after cancelling our orders. Ravi in the Burjuman was very good and use to visit there. But the newly opened in Karama is not up to the expectation and not worth a single star.
Table boy lies. No fresh parathhas.because parathha man left an hour before. You have to ask for basic free things , no onion, no lemon, no extras napkins. Kababs smells likeRotten food. Not good attitude.
Hands down the best street food in Dubai for Pakistan style food! This is a must to visit and experience! I was able to go in and see how they cook the food. The ingredients are completely natural and everything is made from scratch masala and nan bread are amazing. I got the hottest spice and I almost passed out!
Good Food. Good Service. Good price. As always good place to eat
Decent Pakistani food. Reasonable prices. Convenient location.
Mutton karahi and fry dal is yummy. Other traditional pakistani dishes are also good. And yet economical
I have a bad experience with RAVI last Thursday Afternoon 10/06/2021.Staff behaving very pour, at last we cancel our order & leave the hotel
No consistancy in Taste... Droped from my visit list
Whan i came 1st time in Ravi restaurant I was very happy because this restaurant belongs to my Pakistan every things very good my dinner daily eat here
Food was not upto mark, quantity of portion is very small. With this pricing thier Competitors gave atleast some welcome food like salad and raita. It was missing too.
Tried new Ravi in Karama and was not happy with their food and service. Ordered for chicken sheekh, chicken peshawari and roti.both items were salty. Once the food is served nobody will attend, if you are sitting in the family area on top.
Amazing experience over here. If you come to karama you should definitely try
For Dine-In, its Really very Bad & Kachra Place to visit as AC doesnt work at all! It seems as if you are sitting inside a Hot Oven......We were all sweating very badly & it was a Very Bad & Worst Experience as I was Embarrassed by taking my in-laws Family for Dinner who were in a visit Here......!!My suggestion for All is Better to visit Delhi Darbar beside instead of visiting this Kachra Hot Boiling Restaurant & getting Embarrassed!!!!
Service ok, however sitting as per Covid safety not good also food is just normal not great...
Haleem, Chicken Tikka and Chicken Ginger was good. Briyani was disaster.
I came back for breakfast to ravi in their new karama branch.Nihari was extremely thick and not good.Halwa (halwa/puri) was served cold.Really not what I expected.I will come back but I hope the quality of good improves.I found one of the old waiters. He is good.
A couple who is staying in Dubai since last 6 years recommended this place to me for Channa Daal. And I went in Ramadan close to 12 in night and they were serving . Just ordered a Dal and a plain rice with a Salted lassi. Order was served on time and the Daal was an absolute value for money. They also deliver. This place is right on the Road infront of Burjaman Mall, walking from Centre point.
Want inexpensive food with a great view? This place is the answer for you.We came as a bunch of 4 people. Got a table outside. Ordered 4 chicken tikkas, naan and paratha. For the gravy we got the standard gravy. The chicken tikkas here are really good. Just 8 DHS. Which is very inexpensive for the taste. The paratha was really bad though. Very rubbery. The service was pretty terrible as they did not come to us very often and attended the family more than the bachelors. We wanted to order more, but decided to end our deinner because we were not bothered to wait longer.Id recommend this place if you want inexpensive food which tastes good. For ambience this is definitely not the place.3/5.
It said to be one of the oldest food chains in Dubai and the only reason they have survived is because of the delicious food they serve.During my visit to Dubai, been to this place twice and have not been disappointed by the quality of meal serve. If you are not from UAE than try the rogni naan/ chapati they serve, it is something unique as a side dish.Overall the ambience is fine, the food is great and the service is acceptable. The prices are reasonable and the food is served really quickly.Good place to non vegetarian food!!!!!
Crispy paratha with karak chai is a must try, the crew are also very helpful. Dont forget to tell him to make the paratha crispy
Great food. Prepare for a good run after eating here . They make a great kheema ( minced meat ) paratha ( stuffed bread ) and have a wide variety of cuisine to go through ranging from Pakistani , Afghanistani and Indian food. Ravi is a Dubai classic restaurant and a must visit on your trips to UAE. Another suggestion of mine would be the mutton handi.
Very Good Taste in very reasonable prices
Here for Magaz (Bheja) and Mutton Peshawari.Great tasting Pakistani Food, Ravi - the name made famous internationally by Anthony Bourdain Bhai - thats why you see a lot of firangs visit this place , though it is the other Ravi in Satwa he went to.Had the Magaz and Mutton Peshawari, both great tasting dishes, I have yet to come across a badly made Pakistani gravy, its as if nothing goes wrong in any of their gravies - anywhere.Once summers are over the outdoor seating can be enjoyed, seating inside you get the typical no frills desi restaurant atmosphere.
Food is goodNihari
Mutton peshawari was awesome but grill was pathetic it was raw and the meats had weird smell
I love mutton biryani in this restaurant
Visited this amazing restaurant located in Karama serving some authentic food. For starters we ordered Chicken Tikka & Mutton Seekh kebab, both are highly recommended dishes. For main course we ordered brain tawa fry, Kheema fry & Mutton Peshawari which was amazing. Everything was made with less oil as per our request. We had it with some Roghni naans & tandoori rotis. Mutton Peshawari is a must try dish.Pricing is absolutely inexpensive. Server was very attentive and quick in his job. Pay parking area is available just in front of the restaurant which is one of the plus point. Overall had a great experience here.
Mashallah everything good
Excellent food and great service
Pure Pakistani taste..
Dilicious biryani and clean restaurant.
Just normal taste
Simply delicious!
Taste food...
Heard about this place too much and had tried food here before like 3 to 4 years ago. Once again we had mutton karahi and the taste here is very nice. Prices are very good. Washroom areas need upgrades and air fresheners needed more than any place here. Water in summer days way too hot to wash hands and in winter way too cold. Food is amazing but ambience need lots of work but being an old gem this can be ignored for once a year experience.
Not good as it use to be , very salty and oily food
BEST CHICKEN IN DUBAI... So far at least... Restaurant itself is overdue for a renovation. That being said, the service was excellent. Food came quickly and was insanely delicious. I was amazed at how well seasoned all the dishes were! The chicken came fresh off the grill and was tender, crispy and juicy! Overall the food was flawless in my opinion. Ill definatly be returning to this place for another helping. A MUST place to dine if your visiting or a resident!
Ravi is back at different place.
Good tasteBut water is expensive 🤣🤣🤣😂😂
Bad restaurant and bad service
Would rate it minus 1 if it were possible. We literally entered and left of our own accord in ten minutes. Cleanliness was below par and customer service zero. We sat at our table and were left looking at each others faces for ten minutes - not a hello, no welcome, nothing. I could understand if it was busy but there were hardly ten people when we entered. Spare yourself and try out some other places in the nearby vicinity.
Best quality Pakistani Restaurant
Not bad
Good food
Good food in very cheap price. Operated n served by Pakistani people. Very good service n people also. So, recommend everyone who like to eat Pakistani Indian food
Nice food love it
Cheap and best
In 2011 I was with a friend for the first time during a Dubai holiday at RAVI for dinner.BBäämmmm. The food is great! Not to compare with the countless fast food restaurants. At RAVI its local, honest, cheap and really delicious. As a European you can enjoy the food at RAVI with a clear conscience.Since my first visit to RAVI, it has become an integral part of a holiday in Dubai.
👍
