Love the restaurant! Everything was great! There are many shows starting from the beginning of the night. The service is great. Food is good. Prices are quite OK. We will definetly come again

The place is elegant, service is great, and the show is great. Overall atmosphere is good.My personal experience was not good due to the fact that i was seated next to a table filled with very loud and noisy people who did not stop for a minute from shouting or laughing like crazy. Although i complained to the supervisor but nothing happened. I did not even eat my food and was in a hurry to pay and leave just to run away from their noise. There should be some policy to handle these situations as this is not a coffee shop or night club for them to act this way and affect other people experience.Menu needs some upgrade and to add more variety of food/drinks and generally its a bit pricy lounge which i believe understandable since there is good show.

Its a big place with live performances and relatively small selection of menu as they recently reduced the range of items on their menu. We had to order one appetizer and one main dish each, so we chose the truffle fries, broccolini and salmon ceviche for appetizers and seabass and miso black code for main. Unfortunately, the food quality didnt meet my expectation - the fries were soggy and the ceviche was mediocre at best. My miso black code was too salty but my friends said the seabass was nice. The decoration and ambiance of the place wasnt for me, either but other people seem to like it for it was quite crowded. Another minus point was the unpleasant smell in the bathroom. But the staff was friendly, and we didnt have to wait long for our foods and drinks.

PLAY Restaurant & Lounge. What a fantastic experience. The staff were very courteous and attentive from when entering the restaurant until leaving. If you are looking for great food, great service, music, entertainment, and atmosphere then, this is the venue for you. Play ticks all the boxes.Well played, PLAY.

One Word: AWFUL! Very poor customer service, very disrespectful waiters who are always rushing you to finish your food and leave because they want other guests to come. Overpriced, especially for the quality of food served! Definitely not a place to recommend!

I had one of the best evening with my friends in Play Restaurant. This place is amazing, food is delicious, staff is so friendly. But special thanks I want to say to manager Alessio he always approached us, asked if everything is good, checked our order. He is so intantive to all guests. It easily can be seen by how he can solve any problem, everything is under his control. And one more person who made our evening remarkable is Robert. If we need something he brought it immediately.Excellent service and interpersonal skills.

Had a Top-notch experience at Play. This is a place I would and will sincerely recommend for an evening of exquisite food and good service. The crispy beef was a mouthwatering starter but that was only the beginning, Arthur offered a great selection of recommendations and we decided to go for the Mushroom Risotto. Not only was his Recommendation spot on, but the food was also served with top class and prepared in front of us. Im really delighted with the evening and will come back next time were in Dubai. Big Thank you to the Team for making the night perfect!

It’s hard to enjoy the show when waiters are rushing people to order and eat in two hours cause that is all the time we have with a table. Disappointing. The waiter forgot two items from our order. The waiter dictated when we should pay, and shortly later asked us to leave. The management should probably rethink this current embarrassing approach, and probably apply something else like minimum spending per table that would qualify for unlimited time.

Even though I got a recommendation for this restaurant, I had a bad experience!I made a booking for a table on Thursday night for 2 persons. The problem they gave me conditions which I felt they are soo precised. (They took my credit card number and they said the minimum spending for each person is 400 not only that but also you are not allowed to stay more than 2 hours) Well guess what I accepted all that just to see this restaurant.Unfortunately my experience was terrible!First of all they seated us in the lounge and we waited for our table for almost 45 minutes! Then when we talked to the manager they gave us a table for 6 persons!!Anyways, I can’t say the ambiance and the music were not good and vivid. But our bad experience with the restaurant management spoiled that by feeling uncomfortable and not welcomed. Definitely NOT COMING BACK AND WILL NEVER RECOMMENDED.

If I will have a minus I will give it . Starting from the food till the service horrible. First their food is not worth the money at all and nothing to do with what you ask for , snails horrible , cheviche was nothing to do with it and so on . They are overpriced and is not worth it at all to visit this place .Beside the dancers is really nothing to see . I would not recommend anyone to visit even once. Complete waste . A shawarma in karma would be better!!!

The A7 wagyu was fine. Crispy beef was absolutely HORRIBLE. Wayyyy overpriced for the portion. I reserved at 8 waited for 20mim & then waited till 10 again but still there wasn’t any performances or shows. The vibe aint bad though.Literally got kicked out after was done from food. Never had experienced this before.Not worth my money or time.

Generally the service was very good. However they were late a bit in bringing the drinks.The food quality was excellent.However the prices were high.The location of the restaurant is in the middle of Dubai.The drinks (my order is non-alcoholic) were very good.The dessert was excellent. Ive enjoyed my order.The prices were expensive, considering the portions served.One thing I didnt like is the valet parking.You cant use the valet at the main gate of the hotel, youll have to go around, and access the gate at the back for another valet parking.

Hubby took me here for V day last night. We were seated in the bar area as the restaurant was full. (late booking) there was a lovely view of the City still and also the live entertainment. We ordered the v day tasting menu and the food was just incredible! There is no way i can find fault in anything that was served. Id say its the best Asian Ive had in Dubai. The service was good given the number of people in the venue. It could have only been improved if someone came to take drink orders more frequently. I highly recommend and would return. The food, vibe and view was just amazing.

Zero Stars!!Bad food , No menu options, and the worst part , horror customer service - the worst I EVER had.Zero interest in helping the customer. ZERO!Had a 1 week advanced booking, calling the restaurant 4 times in a week to confirm all the details, and when my guests reached the table, was in the corner when I asked to have it next to the stage, as an early booking, they didn’t allow me to get set menu so the bill can go higher, the table decoration was the biggest joke, even if I payed separate for “ decoration “.If you want to enjoy your dinner, or if you have a special occasion, chose ANY other restaurant. I DON’T recommend Play Restaurant at all!

The food delicious, service could be better. Charlene, our waitress was lovely and gave us some good options. She was very busy though, and others around who werent so didnt come up and check that all we OK. We had to wait around to get their attention. Also, they had run out of almost all the fish..! Food was great, atmosphere lovely, and the dessert was scrumptious!

We were a group of 14 friends celebrating a birthday party. Food and drinks were good but overpriced and we were asked to leave after two hours from arrival despite not having finished our meal. We spoke to the manager and could not find a solution. Go and spend your money in other locations.

A great place to spend the evening with your loved ones or friends. Tuesday Mashup is a must see with DJ Gaby Ghazal, one of the best entertaining nights in Dubai. Operations manager always visited our table to make sure all is perfect. We just love this place!

Great food, interesting take on each item on the menu. Try everything if you can! Would recommend the sweet salmon, squid and the wagyu carbonara. 2 stars because of the service, mainly by the purser, which made us feel unwanted. The lady led us to a table we werent happy with. We asked for the one next to it and she blatantly lied to us that that section is closed. She happily seated another group there within 5 minutes hoping we would not notice/give up.

This place used to be better but on my last visit it had changed, I suspect a change in management and / or kitchen head staff. First they had no availability and I had to almost beg just to get a table despite arriving to an almost empty restaurant (this happens a lot I feel in Dubai when places try to hype themselves as being so busy just to maintain popularity......does not work for me). The food is really good no argument there but now the portions got so small that the prices were not realistic at all. Sad to say I wont be back.

My fav spot so far for a yummy dinner. But the service can be improved. We had to wait sometime for the sushi and after asking they had some technical issues. But the waitress didnt bother to follow up with the kitchen herself. We had to remind her of our order.

Me and my sisters went out for a girls night out to what used to be our favorite restaurant and I say used to cuz the service we were offered this time we’ll never be back here again. We ordered a verity of food duck salad, peta surprise , sea bass in the basket , edimammi and snickers dessert . After we ordered all this we asked to change the eddimami cuz it was so spicy but they came back to us with we’re gonna have to charge u for this and order a different one not just that they kept bringing orders we didn’t order the food was really good but the overall experience was awful.

A fine dining experience oozing with Class and elegance . A variety of dishes that suit all types of taste palettes with a focus on prime wagyu cuts, sushi and truffle based risotto (signature). A must visit for a great night out with live acts to keep you entertained.

Vibe Vibe Vibe!! This restaurant has everything ! Beautiful people, great music and food as well as shisha by the dining table !! What else do one need?! I was there last time on a Tuesday, it was super busy and noticed they play a bit more arabic music mixed with english well known songs (bella ciao, c’est la vie etc) So basically everyone was dancing around midnight!

I’ve been in this restaurant many times, in my opinion one of the best in Dubai Marina. First of all the dishes are delicious and the waiters are very nice. On the other hand a waiters caught my attention for his polite and gentle behavior. His name is Fulvio, i hope him the best to maked every dining night so unforgettable.

Worst experience and service ever. Rudeness is all over the place starting from the security at the door to the reservation desk up to the manager. We had a booking at 10:30 and we kept standing waiting until 11:10 as the table wasn’t ready and when talked to staff all what they said that this is how we run it!!!! And this was even in an extremely bad attitude. NOT ever gonna visit again and definitely not recommending to anyone

Great atmosphere and the food was nice. Price was high but was expected.Downside was I felt the waiter was very pushy to kick us off the table - I had the prior understanding that the booking was from 8-10pm however I think it’s a little excessive to be asked 4-5 times if we want the bill just passed the 9pm.

Worst Restaurant in DubaiLiving in Dubai since 10 Years this has never happened.After making a reservation and coming there with a big group we were told that the overbooked the tables by 100% thats why we would not get a table. After allowing us to seat in the last corner of the restaurant the promised us to find a table for us. Which they did not for the next 3 hours. The waiters where unfriendly and unable to full-fill simple drink orders. The management was unable to deal with the situation and just left at some point. The reservation and booking team said that they are sorry but the can not do nothing because the just do what the were told. After arguing and discussing for hours we left that place and will never go there again. Worst restaurant. Worst management. Worst service. Worst experience.

Its my 1st time to Play..I have been to many similar places, Play is one if the best food quality and ambience you will have experience.Tried the truffle fries, Black CoD, Crispy beef and grilled beed.

The best French cuisine in Dubai, so far we’ve tried all the fine dining French restaurants and this one is by far the BEST. Their frog legs are outstanding and their oysters were the creamiest and most tastiest oysters that me and my mum had. Definitely coming back here again! 🙏🏻😍

When you make a reservation of the table you are allowed to stay only 2 hours. During our dinner we didnt have a minute of peace since the staff was around us all the time, rushing the service, bringing all the food at the same time, pouring the drinks before we even finish the glasses and removing plates to push us to leave. They asked us after we finish the food, or better say after they made us finish the food can they bring us the bill now.We felt uncomfortable and unwelcomed, and for sure we are not coming back...

The show was awesome ! Such a good performance.It’s too bad they hurry us up out of our table because we had been there for « 2 hours »...Come on we kept on ordering and we just had our drinks to finish, and you had other tables available.

A heard a lot about this place many advertisements in instagram but when i was there i was shocked the place is old tables, chairs... the menu is very very poor we ordered the Japanese wagyu carbonara barrel who was served cold and no taste, we don’t forget the waitress who was very rude and unprofessional the ambiance was very good thats why i put 2.

I have always liked Play and decided to go their for drinks and dinner on Monday as it was my Birthday. Very very horribly managed, we booked a table for 8 almost 2-3 days back. When we reached there, they told us to wait near the bar and our table would be ready shortly after waiting for an hour when I went back to check on the table they couldn’t find my reservation anymore. After 3 hours of waiting and missing almost most of the performances and dinner(which was the reason we had gone there for)we finally got a table at that point it didn’t make any sense because the place was dead and almost shutting. We paid 5500 dhs for such a horrible experience, felt like such a waste.I don’t think they understand no matter how good a place is, if you treat your customers like this, nobody is going to want to come back. HORRIBLE experience they literally ruined my Birthday evening, I would never recommend going here again.

Firstly it’s hard to reach no signs, no-one to ask and for restaurants not allowed to park at the front of the hotel. Secondly the food is good enough not amazing!! Which is not reasonable for paying a high bill because it’s very expensive. Thirdly the place was loud but some people likes loud places. Overall not worth to visit comparing by the rest of the high class restaurants in Dubai.

Very bad service, very bad manager we were waiting for almost 45 mins for a table and we have a reservation since 2 days and suddenly someone took our table and when we called the manager to solve the issue he said what can i do and really he did nothing except he kept screaming on us this is really unprofessional from a manager.

Music and atmosphere was fantastic but totally let down by the staff and management of the venue. We waited over an hour for a drink, then we complained and waited another 30 minutes. The waiter just kept saying sorry they will come. They optionally choose to ignore you, and the drinks were cheap brands/watered down! I will never return and never recommend it’s the worst service in Dubai!

I dont know why people visit this place. Or how its considered a high end place. From the reception, I think the receptionist is illiterate as she couldnt find my reservation although the place was empty and there were only 3 tables booked at the early time I arrived. The food is great, but at their prices you could get better places for much cheaper. They didnt change our cutlery it plates during the different courses and when we asked they just replaced the plates and returned our dirty cutlery on the clean plates. My ashtray was full and the waiter in bothered to clean it after an hour an half. I wouldnt mind this service elsewhere but when I go to a very expensive restaurant I expect a minimum level of service. I would highly recommend Zuma, Novikov or Chipriani as better options to spend your hard earned money. Very unprofessional staff and definitely management. All this and keep in mind, the pace wasnt even full.......

Overpriced and terrible service

I have experienced this place and was surprised from the positive feedbacks. We had a reservation at 2300, we show up 15 minutes earlier so we have to wait by the bar for the table to be ready. It took us at least 40 to give us a table while we have a reservation too. The table was so surprising and you can not see anything from the main stage.Lets be honest, the only good part is the show and music was lovely. Service is one of the worst you can experience service. Super slow.It is quite pricey but never recommend at all since it has so many negative and critical points.

The places that offer live shows in the area are very limited, and the issue with live shows that they are very sensitive, if the content is not made well, then it becomes cheap and that damages the lounge or restaurant, but at Play Restaurant & Lounge its well done...Service is great, food is excellent, and the shows are very tasteful... It was captivating just ensure to book to have a good view!

Every thing is changed from being number one restaurant in Dubai to be drastically disappointing!! We selected the brunch on Saturday, the food quantity, quality, presentation, all were below expectations!! Our cranberry drink was mixed with water!! They called the manager and he promised to make it up but nothing was done to fix the issue! I will never come back!

Had an amazing evening on Thursday! Head Chef Santiago Guerrero is phenomenal at putting drama to presentation of mouthwatering dishes as they were served in perfect synergy. Cool contemporary atmosphere with great live jazz music in the background, immaculate service, perfect timing, delivering dish after dish of culinary delights. Fusion food at it’s ultimately the best! Well done Guerrero well done Dubai!!

This place is great for friends gathering and to have a very fine dining in Dubai. Whom love sea foods, I believe this the right place to have it in my own opinion. We’ve been enjoying each and every dish suggested by the waiters. The atmosphere of the place is cozy with some live band songs and instrumentals. Just to make it clear, this place consider high in value for money but since we’ve enjoyed each and every piece of whatever we had, it worths. Try to have a reservation over there since i cant assure whether they allow walk-in visitors especially on the weekends. Enjoy.
