- I chose English when calling 3 times and every time you pick up in Arabic- many times the call doesn’t go through and when answered the operator doesn’t hear me- you’re starting a message that it’s about a minute long about covid and only in Arabic, and when I click a number to skip it it doesn’t work. So annoying after having to call multiple times- your website doesn’t show the locations in UAE- your website has a broken link and takes me to an error page when I click on locations from the contact page- your operator tells me finally when I got hold of her that she can’t share the locations - I have to find them on the website 🤦🏻You are losing a lot of money and you can easily fix that. Please up your game for the sake of customers and potential customers.

Avoid at all cost, all they do is apologise. Simple things the guys in the office cannotManage, so frustrating. 1* is being nice, I’m still unsure of WU MENA are operating, so bad!!

Pathetic customer service - no track and trace of money - false misleading information. DO NOT USE their online app for money transfer or any services. They will provide information status that money is delivered but it is actually not and will not even help you to track and trace the money and inform the customer if a transaction was unsuccessful . YOu need to wait and wait for several weeks for a resolution and no explanation from their side. very weak mechanism of global bank transfer and customer service has no idea about it.They need to seriously look into their business mechanism and customer service SLAs and need to bring sincere trust in their customers with proper status updates . PLEASE AVOID AND USE A TRUSTED PARTNER

These people would keep about 6% of your money whenever youre receiving money even though the sender had paid the sending fees! With no real explanation as to why!I do not recommend Western Union in Dubai especially to Africans!

Calls aren’t going through the 800 number provided. Tried several time on different dates and time, just thinking agents may be busy or they have more load.Never able to connect with any agent. Transaction processed through mobile app failed, however, money debited in my bank account. Major amount. Not able to reach them any way.Very bad guys. Please get them look at call center services.

They deserve no stars at all for their call center and for online service it took me two days to activate the online and have two customer numbers and receive huge of wrong information and finally the transaction rejected , WU and Al Ferdan Exchange together no comment . what ever happens dont commit the mistake I did and join their online service . Im customer with them since 2008 but the online spoiled it .

I have sent funds to my family via the western union app.There was no option to mention middle name and my family is unable to access the money - I understand this is a security risk and happy to oblige by amending/cancelling the transfer and resending it.The process of this is excruciating and frustrating, since the service delivery provider is incapable of communicating or replying back to emails, I have called western union and have been asked to call Al fardan exchange. I call Al fardan exchange and have been told they are waiting on Western union!After visiting the branches to sort this issue out - which was informed by the call center, I was told to send an email. I send the email last week 8th of March, 2020 and got no response until 11th. After this I was informed they need another 2-3 working days - this completed on Saturday this week.Until today there is no response - no courtesy to acknowledge my email or give me an update and a resolution!This is extremely disappointing especially when you are transferring funds to support family members who are in need!

Here is my shocking story with one of the worst companies in the world!! they dont even deserve any stars but I had to so I can post my story!!Western Union.. day light rip offs and they are still getting away with it in every single transaction!!My sister sending me money by western union, they have demanded that it has to be in US$ which is fine as I need it in US$ and they have also confirmed that I will receive it in US$ so she did the transfer of $7000 + transfer fee of $280 (crazy over charges for such a simple transaction)So I go to pick up the money from Western Union at my end but they refuse paying the money in US$ and insist it has to be in local currency (contradicting what the other office has said that I will receive in the same currency) therefore I had to make further 2 exchange rates process US$ to local currency to US$... crazy charges here costing me another $347 and my sister has already paid $280 so this is total of us $627 for a transfer of $7000!!! 8.95% transfer fee...WHY?! it could have cost me $300 for a return flight ticket!!!Where is the law where is the central bank from all of this.. How can we accept such a day light rip off!! I am in extreme sadness of knowing that justice is turning a blind eye on such tremendous charges!!! such charges should be ILLEGAL by every single government.Social media has a great tool to make our voices heard and trust me I will make sure of it till those big fat day light rip offs STOPS!!!Please SHARE if any one out there is facing such a charges, let the world knows how they are running business on other hard working human being cost!!I might be fortunate enough to afford paying their fees but most of their customers are hard working labor,earning minimum wages trying sending their family money back home and those monsters are charging them this fee on every single transaction..SAD WORLD!!Make sure your voice is heard as I will make sure of mine and will not give up on my rights till they fix it!!

Very bad, always decieving with the fee and the exchange rates, you end up charged double for a transfer, basically cheating, last thing was getting charged with 2 % commission when sending money to beirut while claiming the transfers are free of charge during this period, they cut the charges out of the receiver.

Use only if you dont have another option, by far the worst way to send money. First, their online estimate tool and their app will give you an estimate that seems fair, but when you visit the counter to send money you learn that it is actually very unfair and more than 10% higher than you expected. They force you to use dirhams, and their exchange rate is 11.5% more than market value. They add their service charge which is not high but exchange rate makes it completely unfair and you feel that you are taken for a ride. I will make sure I find another way to send money, this is simply a daylight robbery.

They are the most expansive way to send money however I used them because they are doing the transaction instantly. Well .. this is how it should be. Ive sent from UAE to Italy and after one week still have to withdraw them. Being into 5 (five) agencies each of them have an excuse not to give the money. After booking them they find that first/second name where switched so we have to correct also this error. Too much issues and it is lot expansive. My advise is definetly a NO!NO!

Ridiculous app and service. they were standing on a kiosk in mall of emirates, called us, wasted our time to fill the form, download app and then told us to go to al fardan exchange to re-register. at al fardan, the guys refused to do anything stating my middle name is missing in the app and they cant help..i wasted more than an hour with these unethical people from western union and fardan.app doesnt allow me to update my info...i was a customer of western union, but will never go there again

My family sent to me money from my country, where I was in Dubai. They sent them Dollar $. I went to the Western union the Al Ansari branch in Emirates Mall, they gave me them Derham!! The exchange different is to high between them and other exchanges. They said that is the policy of Western Union here in UAE!! That is a rob in under the lights

Western union is well reputed financial organization globally however the WU UAE is an exception.I called their customer service for a login problem with their online system. The guy kept repeating “Call Alfardan”. Whereas I have already spoken to Alfardan and they said it is problem at WU side.In any case it is WU job to fix the problem even if it at Alfardan side. WU has chosen them as their agents not us.They should resolve their differences internally, they should not transfer it to consumers.We go to Alfardan bcz of WU. We dont come to WU bcz of Alfardan.

I used 250 WU points to get 30 AED off my next money transfer, to discover later on it was a misleading deal, as you get 10 AED for 75 points, 20 AED for 150 points, so the logical thing is to get 30 AED for 225 points only, if not 200 as a promotion! They are doing the opposite and ripping you even of your points in a REWARD program. Also 30 AED is the maximum amount they will give you, even if you have hundreds of points and need them for several transactions. You are required to use this reward first, then apply for another one, and keep on returning to the exchange offices and queing for your transactions! So much deceiving in this so called reward program, as if it wasnt enough they were limiting your benefit from your own points, making it hard to use them in many ways.
