We hit this place by chance and we liked the simplicity and beauty of both, the rustic decoration and the authentic Italian menu. The staff were helpful, friendly and knowledgeable about what they serve.We ordered 2 of our favorite Pizza along with Seafood Paella. Everything was so fresh and well presented together . The Pizza is more like Napoli style, made in real wood fired stone-oven !! it comes thin with beautiful crust on the outside, heavenly tasty and good looking, all quality ingredients especially the cheese.For the seafood paella it was a feast on its own, so flavorful, nice texture of the rice, perfect seasoning of the seafood , we left nothing behind 😄

The place itself is also quite beautiful with lovely European interiors. They source all the ingredients organic and fresh. The dough is rested/fermented for over 4 days so that it’s perfect and light on the stomach. Even the seafood is bought fresh from the seafood market, so be assured to find the best quality. Red tomato pizza restaurant opened its door to Dubai folks about 9 years ago in the Barsha residential area and have been serving authentic Italian pizzas, pastas and desserts since then. I really loved the outlet which has an open kitchen where the pizzas are made in the wood fire oven right in front of you. The furniture and decor gives you a vintage feel.I started off with a hot brodo di pollo soup. It is made with chicken broth and veggies.I asked them to make it mild spicy but it felt like boiled chicken in tomato and onions without much flavor.For appetizers, we ordered Gamberoni arrosto which is roasted tiger prawns in olive oil, garlic, chili and herbs. It was done perfectly according to my taste.Fusilli in salsa rosa which is a pasta made of pink sauce was the next one I tried. The pasta was cooked well and the sauce was quite good too. We preferred it with chicken and these chicken cubes were a great addition to it.They never went wrong with the pizzas that they served.We chose to have two types of pizza in one. First was Chef special barbeque pizza with char grilled chicken, bbq sauce, mozzarella, hot dog etc. Next one was Diavola with spicy pepperoni. I loved both the variants but the bbq one was my favorite.For desserts, we tried the classic tiramisu which was one of the best we have ever tried. The portion size is also really big which can be shared among 2 or 3. We wanted to try the black lava with ice cream but the available one was white lava with ice cream. I felt it was not cooked properly.We also ordered two drinks, forest berry smoothie and passion fruit mojito. The smoothie was too thick for me but passion mojito was ok.Verdict : The pizzas, pasta and tiramisu we tried were great and would love to go back again.

As you push past their heavy white wooden framed doors, you walk into the quaint and rustic interiors of the restaurant. The furniture is very old English style chairs and tables. The walls are adorned with many vintage framed pictures and mirrors. The walls are a moldy white wallpaper like texture which gives a very vintage classic feel to the restaurant. We especially liked the lighting of the restaurant, which was very dim and intimate, a perfect setting for date nights and small gatherings.Bite BoardD R I N K S1. Passion Fruit Mojito: A lovely tall glass of some fresh passion fruit with a mix of mint and lemon. To be honest we’ve never had a Mojito as good as this. It was fresh and full of flavor. The only negative was that there was too much crushed ice in our drink and after a while it gets too diluted which became quite unpleasant to drink.2. Fresh Lime and Mint Mojito: This drink was very refreshing. Great presentation. However, we did find it a tad bit too sour, maybe it was too much lime, and hence wasn’t a hit with us.3. Mango Tango: A glass of mango juice which is sugar free but we would have liked the sugar along with it, since that was the only thing lacking.M A I N S1. Pink Penne Pasta : We LOVED this pasta. It was one of the best pastas we’ve had in town and definitely will make it to the top ten list of best pink penne pastas in town. What made it so great? Well, the pasta was perfectly al dente, the pink sauce was a beautiful creamy pink thick sauce, which was perfectly seasoned with Italian herbs. Our favorite dish, a full 10/10.2. Habanero Pizza (Chef Special): A bed of thin pizza crust layered with olive oil, chicken pieces, mozzarella cheese and garnished with fiery cherry red bell peppers. We found that the oil used was a bit much and was dripping off the pizza. We would have preferred a tomato base along with the cheese. The chicken was tender and cooked well. Warning to the non-spice foodies, this is not something that could be handled by all. This one is meant for the crazy spice lovers who can take on the heat on its maximum scale. Our advice will be to pair this pizza with a passion fruit mojito which will give a balance to your palate for those who would like to try and are not too keen on the spice.D E S S E R T S1. Tiramisu : This dessert was a gift from the heavens, and nothing short of it. A generous helping of Tiramisu was served to us, good for atleast 3 people to share, this dessert was a performance of flavors and textures. Soft velvety cake, sandwiched between a light fluffy white cream and coffee dusted layer. One of the best Tiramisus we’ve had in town.2. Chocolate Fondant : A classic favorite of course. This was a delicious hot soft chocolately cake, which cracks open to reveal the, very familiar, oozing hot chocolate sauce. Served with a scoop of fresh vanilla ice cream, this dessert leaves a smile on your face, along with a little chocolate too!Service:We were offered good service. The staff was friendly and attentive to our needs. The orders also came in good time.Cash Outflow:The prices are fair given the quantity of the food.Circling Back:Definitely! Those authentic Pizza Dough is a real deal then Tomato Pizzeria has got it. Their Bruschetta is one of the best I had for a long while. One of the best part is these bruschetta are baked the traditional oven. That made them so soft to chew and melted. The topping of the Mediterranean salad gave all the oomph factor of those freshness veggies. Lets talk about the Pizza. Have tried all types of pizza toppings that are quite famous or are trending and few veggie ones but I Loved the one served here. Its called Melanzane. Eggplant, basil, honey, parmesan and MOZZARELLA. So simple but bombed with flavors. Guess the traditional oven had done its magic. Always have loved baked aubergines and the hint of honey at every bite gives the Healthy sweetness. Highly recommended the Melanzane and guaranteed will love the Pizza all over again. Best vegan Pizza in town.

Great restaurant with nice rustic decor, though small they serve authentic Italian flavors that will surely amaze you. They prepare pizzas in authentic fire oven. Not to miss the super nice staff. You will have a great time here, only trouble will be parking.

This place has kept it so authentic, it took me back to my past immediately. The arrangement, the oven, the doors, windows - everything is like a corner pizzeria from Rome. The spicy chicken wings were not spicy, yet very fresh and tasty. The Mushroom and Chicken Pasta was absolutely stunning - creamy and flavourful, as it is meant to be. The Buffalo Chicken Pizza was as good as the other dishes, although I wouldve loved some more chunks on top. Lemon and Mint drink was standard, yet refreshing. Expectations were met this day.Ambience: This place has a great ambience, amazing interior, goods vibes all around.Service: The service was quick and the serving staff was really friendly and professional.Food: The food was great. Everything tasted amazing and the food was served beautifully.Location: The location is easy to find but the parking is a bit of an issue so have to wait queit a while during peak times.

This pizza joint is at the corner of a signal, but once you get inside the restaurant you do not feel that it is located on a buzzing crossroad.It has a brick laid oven where pizzas are baked. This place are many options to choose from, and the portions are ample and filling.It has half dozen tables, mellow lighting, and a good washroom.

I have been visiting this pizza place since 8 years and nothing has change and I mean it in a good way. Awesome wood over baked pizzas and delicious entrees. If its pizza for dinner I am heading to Red Tomato Pizza. 😊

Visited this place on a Sunday night in Dubai after being invited out by friend. This is a very cosy Italian restaurant. Not glitzy at all, but down-to-earth, genuine and amazing. We were greeted by a very sweet lady who was to be our server for the night. We opted for a quattro formaggi pizza to share as a starter course and then two pasta dishes as main courses. The lady so sweetly explained to us that the quattro formaggi pizza is served with white sauce instead of red unless we wanted to change this - we did not and it was absolutely divine - very thin and perfectly done.

If you’re carving for real Italian pizza, you should really consider this place.It is located at Al Barsha, few steps from Mall of the Emirates, whereas lots of food activities take place.The ambience is great and authentic; seats are arrayed around the oven-brick area, so you can enjoy the making of your food.It is quite expensive but I genuinely believe that such food quality should come at a cost.

As many people already found out, it is extremely hard to find a good pizza in Dubai. Pizza is a popular kind of food, so its a tempting business case for would-be entrepreneurs to earn a few bucks dabbling in Italian food-ware. Alas, not many come even a bit close in pretending to serve Italian food. So also Red Tomato. Although the quality is reasonable, the quantity and price are not. Mama Mia! Compared to i.e. Pizarro they miss the mark completely. And are even more expensive. Beats me how such restaurants stay in business.

Ordered two pizza , 7 cheese sette formaggi pizza was not good at all just a dough with cheese on top, nothing special and it taste like cheese manakesh. But pizza Caprocciosa was nice taste good, the tomato sauce is nice and fresh.

Very very late delivery. It took them to deliver 1hour 40 mins to a place 2 km away from their restaurant. The guy over the phone was not able to help and started not to take make calls after some time. Very unpleasant experience as all my guests was leaving when we have received the pizza.

One of the worst pizza Ive ever had, it tasted as frozen pizza, cheap and plastic mozzarella and not well cooked, as if it had been done in a microvawe instead of a proper oven. Never again.

I love this tiny joint in Al Barsha 1, very close to Mall of the Emirates. Its cozy and I like the white, rustic decor and food is great and reasonably prices. Free wifi. You could park at the mall and simply walk 2 minutes to get here.

The ambience ,the decor is surely have the rustic look and gives the cozy feeling . The service is slow and the staff are nice . They have live stations so you can see you pizza making.
