My favourite cafe in Dubai not only for the best Arabic coffee and desert but also for the quality food they serve starting from soups and salads to the pasta and everything on the menu.The tomato 🍅 soup and lobster pasta are my too choice every time I go.The only thing that went down is the quality of dates they serve with the coffee. Really bad these days. I hope they change it soon.

Cafe bateel is hands down one of my favourite cafés in Dubai but maybe not this branch. The staff was quite nice but it was a very busy branch. Im kinda used to the special attention I get in the other branches like Nakheel mall or jumeirah. I guess if you like a busy environment, youd like this place too. Also, they dont sell waffles here... So... 🤷🏾‍♀️

While it takes a few minutes to find it (if one is not familiar with the Mall of Emirate’s layout) Café Bateel is worth the search. It’s located right across from H&M store on the ground floor of this massive shopping center. I love stopping at Bateel’s for a hot cup of flat white served with an obligatory date on a side or for predictably delicious lunch or for a plate of creamy mushroom risotto.Expect warm light, minimalistic design, tables for diners and coffee addicts, signature, regular and seasonal dishes, and all time favourite desserts on open display. Café Bateel serves mostly Mediterranean cuisine with regional varieties but no matter what you order, be sure it’s gonna taste great every time you visit. Consistency is Bateel’s strength.If you are looking to purchase famous Bateel dates or chocolates, then there is a separate store on the 1stfloor.

Great food, lovely service. We were served by the highly professional waitress called Immaculate who made our experience very lovely.

Nice location, not far from bus or taxi stand. The sencha ariake was an okay green tea recommendation.

We were attracted by the central location of this cafe in the mall, vibrant. The coffee can simply be described as outstanding and each coffee came with a moist date. Also loved the friendly staff. A must try if you’re visiting this mall.

Good we used Entertainer. Food is ok, but it was my mistake telling the Filipino waitress that Im gonna use Entertainer. I ordered their poke bowl with Tuna. Instead of Tuna I got served chicken. Then she brought it back to the kitchen just to come again out with it and tell me that they didnt have Tuna. She even wrote down my order when I was saying TUNA and not chicken. It is normal to inform the customer about missing items from the menu(obviously the fish was kept for customers paying full price!)BEFORE you serve the dish, as the customer might reconsider his/her choice and not to impose something that might not be acceptable. I didnt expect such a behaviour in a Bateel outlet.
