Terrible experience. Marasi Marina took captive our yacht during the Covid-19 lockdown !!We bought a yacht just prior to lockdown so the yacht was caught in Marasi Marina during lockdown on the sellers berth.By first contact their duty manager was kind and responded that she was willing to help. She laid out, that because of the special situation we all needed to help each other.In the end there was absolutely NO HELP from her or them. We asked for a kind discount since we had not purchased the boat berthed in Marasi, but from Dubai Marina, and since we had not have any chance to neither use nor move it due to the COVID-19 lockdown.Marasi Marina and their duty manager responded by threatening to lock the vessel with shackles if we did not pay the FULL berthing price for the full period.
