Bur Dubai Abra Dock is a historic district that is lined with many such boats, making it one of the most picturesque spots in Dubai. Take a 10-minute affordable boat ride from the Bastakiya end of the dock to Gold Souk. The cruise takes you around many interesting sights, Textile Souk and some art galleries. It was really an amazing journey to explore all these places.

Only for 1aed , you can try the traditional abra ride, while enjoying the beautiful nostalgic journey. I’m glad that this type of transfer has been preserved. This is a must try activity for travelers of Dubai ❤️

Very nice place. Near gold Soak. It’s it’s a little hard to get a parking space that but you have a parking space of government it should be reasonable price Find Durham per our. And/or is available shop coffee shop.And moreover it’s a relaxing peaceful area especially at the evening it’s nice to spend some time .Do you have the choice to take your own boat And there is an option like with some other groups it’s really cheap. I have a good experience.

Its a must activity for Dubai travellers.I would recommend to use RTA boats( which Accept NOL Cards or ticket only) instead of 1 dirham boatAs RTA Boats are more comfortable and take you long distance with less sound & engine pollution...RTA Boats are available inside textile market 2 to 3 minutes walk from 1 Dirham boats location.....

Our tour guide brought us to this Abra station where the cost to cross the Dubai Creek in Abra or water taxi is 1 Dirham. From this station, we crossed to spice souk and walked to gold souk. Must do experience in Dubai

The Abra service on Dubai Creek is excellent. It is a real taste of the old Dubai and the cost of travel is very inexpensive. In the early years you had to barter for the journey, but now the ticket prices have been standardised. If the weather is cool it is a really pleasant experience to travel around the Creek and if you are really lucky there is a nice sea breeze to keep you cool.

One of the best Things to do in Dubai. Ride the boat to the other side. It costs 1 Dirham, so nearly nothing and you get a 5 Minute boat ride on the acient boat next to lovely buildings. Really spectacular. Do not miss this ride. It takes you to the spice and gold souk.

Bur Dubai Abra is the best and cheapest way of transportation in Dubai. AED 1 per person and you can enjoy the beautiful scenic water ride in Abra. Amazing place to visit in the morning , take an abra ride in 1 dirham. The lovely water , the birds and the lovely breeze , it was all a lovely environment. Walking down the lanes to see people are starting on to their daily rituals . Taking a water taxi in 2 dirhams was also an amazing experience

Overall experience is nice, The ambience of canal and old type boat service, near by building are gives you a nice feel. But if you take the abra service which is very cheep 1 AED only that is the best part. The Abra run by diesel motor which causes a bit pollution and if you travel by back of an another boat this smoke comes to your face. I am also fell some lack of safety and you didn’t expect a good behavior form the driver, they drive very careless.

This is a no nonsense place and one of the best experiences in Old Dubai. The Abra ride is short, not more than 5-10 minutes, but its a wonderful experience crossing the Dubai creek in these old open boats. They will charge you only 1 AED for that but you will enjoy this small journey. 2 abra station one is for gold Souq and other for baniyas which called as big abra. Try once if you didnt travel in abra yet.

The non-airconditioned boats are wooden, you rent them only for yourself and your family or friends (up to approx. 15 people) and cost 2 AED to get you across the creek, 60 AED for a 30’ tour and 120 AED for an 1 hour tour.The seats are not particularly comfortable but the trip is short after all.Obviously in winter it is much better; In the summer you need to be tolerant to the temperature & humidity.

Cheap and best experience on dubai, one Dirham for a ride

Abra ride perfectly connects deira with old dubai. The traditional ride is just gonna cost you 1dhm. This is one of must have experience when it comes to experiencing dubai and its culture, as this traditional ride is what locals loves and do from starting of their time.

Here you may find Abra to hire for 1 hour trip for 100 AED (initially they are asking for 120, but you should bargain). It is really nice experience to see the city out from the boat.

One of the best place I love to spend in the evening. Especially in winter season this is my best place to time pass with panoramic views.

We were visiting Shiva temple, on the way near the Abra station these amazing birds were flying all around, they were diving into the water playing and having fun.Luckily happened to be there with my family we enjoyed a lot.

The place as the name says is an abra station where you can catch an abra (a traditional boat made of wood) from Burdubai cross the creek 9 a very short distance) and reach Deira just for 1 Dirham... !!Even though there are better boat services (both public and private) as a remembrance and preserving culture these are still being used. Plenty of tourists visit this place daily and it promotes tourism very well also.Apart from tourism purpose many use this a transport facility as well.It is mostly crowded during winter season when the climate is pretty good and dubai shopping festival time when many tourists visit dubai, unlike tourists local people and expats working in Dubai also visit these place and used to travel.Souq and local markets are available nearby for some street shopping street food experience, nearest metro and bus station is Al Ghubaiba which is within walking distance from this place, if you are coming here by a car on a weekend it will be pretty difficult to find a parking spot and might end up in spending too much time searching for a spot, there is no free parking and only public and private parking spaces are available nearby.

Must visit for the AED 1 Abra boat ride across the channel towards Dubai Deira Grand Souk. When getting into the Abra boat, try to sit at the very front to get the best view. Towards the evening, lots of seagulls congregate at this station, very interesting sight. The sunset is also a great time to come and take photos here.

Abra - Simple and unluxurious. Though i never travel in abra on regular basis but since my first visit i kind of like it very much and usually take a ride during evening enjoying the cool breeze and water splashing around. It gives such a soothing and relaxing feeling. And then sit near to the abra station chating with your family or fnds. And best part is its damn cheap, just 1 AED from Al Ghubhaiba Abra to Gold Souk.

Traditional Abra Ride from the Bur -Dubai station to Diera Old Souk Abra Station is one of the icon of the old Dubai and still running as a part of tourism and for regular travelers. RTA charges only one Dirham per head for the ride. Physically challenging, having some sort of health problems and infants are not recommended to take the ride since we need to balance while getting in and out during the ride. Very beautiful ride and good experience.

Unique experience to travel by Abra. AED 1 to go to other side of the creek by traditional Abra, keep some change to the Abra captain.. if you have NOL card by RTA, you can use the RTA Abra, they charge AED 2 to take you across.
