I had afternoon tea here today and it was one of the best Ive had in the world, as I have had it in many cities. The ambiance is gorgeous, the service was top notch and welcoming, and the food was excellent. I loved the mini sandwiches, each one an artistic creation full of flavor. The sweet pastries were great too. The star of the show was the delicious scones with REAL CLOTTED CREAM! you don’t often find that outside of the UK. All of our servers were very kind and attentive. One was Sherilyn ( I’m sorry if I’m not exact on the name). She gave great service. ( thank you from Maryam A.) The only change I would request they make the tea with water that has boiled fully, hot water does not brew tea correctly. Also, tea should be refilled as desired as is the custom with true afternoon tea, and the tea leaves should be in a tea ball to be removed at the 4 min mark for the perfect time. I will definitely return as often as I can. Also, I made online reservations very easily on their website. (They only reserve for afternoon tea) Thank you!
This is a beautiful space right inside the main hotel lobby. We had the Hendricks afternoon tea service. If you are a group of 2 I HIGHLY recommend sharing the tea service and paying extra for 1 pot of tea as they bring you a LOT of food and we couldnt finish it. Their tea selection was good, but we were disappointed that they did not have any local teas. The food items were all of very high quality, especially the scones and lemon curd. We were again disappointed that the food did not reflect the local culture at all, except for some amazing chicken cones. The service was good even though the lounge was pretty busy. If I had to criticize one thing, its that the sweets cakes, macarons, etc. Are on a display table in the middle of the lounge, and anyone can (and did) randomly touch the food items so you cant be sure what you are eating wasnt touched by every kid there. They were happy to give us fresh food from behind the counter when I asked though.
It is the best place to spend time outside in these fine Dubai weather. The weather is really nice and the view of the Burj al Arab and sea is really good. However, it was uncomfortable for parents who took their children outside to smoke at the next table. Besides, the food was excellent and delicious. However, the price is too high.
Afternoon tea here is my favouriteI have been five times now always being friends and family the views are excellentService is wonderful staff are always accommodating and friendlyThe scone are to die for with an excellent variety iod sweet and savoury dishesWorth every pennyView at sunset with the burj is amazingAny special requests are always dealt with very caringly with attention to detail being excellent
Very nice view, I love it
As much as this venue has spectacular views and decor, it keeps in failing to deliver. From making phone calls to obtain all the necessary information prior to making an appearance at the venue to making a well informed choice based on that information, upon confirming hot beverages at breakfast set menu will be free flow, was charged 38aed dhs for half cup full coffee with every extra ordered cup. Pity. Didnt realise having consistent information across various departments within same hotel was such a challenge
I like this place, right at the entrance of Al Qasr Hotel.During the day and night you can have an amazing view from the terrasse.Never tried eating here as chairs are not that comfy, and it doesn’t feel like a restaurant at all.I would say that the prices are a bit high for the quality you would get, even though the quality is good.If the weather is good on the outside, don’t miss sitting in the Terrasse as the view is just amazing.
Excellent ambience friendly staff good food and refreshments. Good view of the Burj and the water
Another hidden gem with expansive views of the sea and Burj Al Arab 💎 Warm and prompt service. Ideal for afternoon tea or small bites.Tip: Request a table in the balcony.
Visited here for Afternoon Tea and were offered prime seats on the middle terrace overlooking the Burj on the right. Great point for photos by the way as well as the sea views. Food was tasty with a good selection of teas, sandwiches and even a G&T or Champagne drink. Being a Jumeirah however I would’ve expected the Service to be more on point, as it was slow with dishes taking longer than expected to come out, and the team looked short on staff. Regardless, the team were friendly, polite and professional.I strongly recommend a visit here as the hotel is impressive as is the Afternoon Tea
Al Fayrooz is the centerpiece of Al Qasr Hotel, the biggest among 4 properties of Marina Jumeirah Resort. Al Fayrooz has a very nice open space with beautiful few over the Persian Gulf, Palm Jumeirah and iconic Burn Al Arab. Very friendly and attentive staff, great selection of drinks, coffee and sweats. Highly recommended place to take your friends who visit Dubai first time to impress them with the feel of real Arabian hospitality and feeling of being Sheikhs in this beautiful Palace!
We had fantastic British tea in this restaurant with cookies and delicious cheese! Expensive but wonderful experience of delicious food. Would love to visit again and again
Always a pleasure to be at alqasr. Everything there is fantastic. Relaxed atmosphere. Good food, great ambiance.
Perfect for chill out and have a conversation! Lovely decor. Have a tea party or enjoy the relaxing atmosphere with a glass of wine, cocktail or mocktail. You choose.
Deteriorating in both service 2nd standard. Food and drinks way below average and way over priced. Very disappointed
The place for afternoon tea. Though one complain, the day after New Year we came with the family they forgot the desert portion of our afternoon tea set. It was crowded and there were so many who wanted to stay and have afternoon tea so I get but I paid for the whole set. It was a one time thing still. And the best place for hot chocolate with whipped cream
Beautiful view and table. The choice of sandwiches and cakes were disappointing. Tea could not be kept warm. Coffee was lovely.Service was very slow between breaks. It was lovely to take our time however waiting 45minutes from the cakes to the fondue was a little frustrating.Whilst eating, there was a constant crowd of people shouting getting photographs.Gorgeous hotel but would not recommend the afternoon tea.
Beautiful lounge with awesome views. Excellent service with a smile even tho they were super busy.
The afternoon tea here is great!
Lovely as always: ambience, dècor and staff. Went for an early lunch on a Sunday. Tiny negative: not much choice on the ‘light bites’ menu.
Place is nice but some basic food are missing. Prices to high..staff very nice
GORGEOUS place with exceptional service .Great food with a breath taking view of the madinat jumeirah .
Best outdoor place for an afternoon tea and shisha with great view of the Burj Al Arab and Souk Madinat. My family and I visited the restaurant yesterday and were pretty much satisfied with the service, Michelle in particular is accomodating, polite, articulate and very efficient as a manager, thank you for assisting us. We will definitely visit the restaurant again.
Using the Entertainer this High Tea is value for money. The service is incredible and the food just keeps coming. High quality tea and delicious food.
Very special place, full of flowers and energy, they have the best espresso in Dubai, nice music, perfect place for a relaxing chat with a friend or a romantic dating
Lovely outlook and atmosphere. Attentive staff, able to cater to allergies (celiac), without limiting my choices on the menu drastically. Thank you for a lovely lunch.
Great place. The staff was friendly and the food was good. The only thing we didnt like were the desserts.
This place is my relax corner in Dubai. Reminds me of my house hall back home. You can always walk in for a drink with a relaxing atmosphere. Also I always chose this place if I ever have any guests from outside Dubai so they can enjoy and have a look around as the view outside is amazing, spacious and Burj Al Arab standing side of it. Of course in summer we chose indoors to enjoy not only the air conditioning, and also live music 😊I just want to say that, in addition to a great meal you can have, the staff there are always have the right balance of friendliness and efficiency. They recognize that visitors usually needed extra time to visit and enjoy the great view, so they do not rush you which I really appreciate.for non alcohol drinks, I highly recommend the Moroccan tea and the cocktail juice. they are kind enough to make for me the mix that i prefer :) (strawberry, banana, milk, honey). For starters and meals, hot mezza is great, mini burgers and club sandwich (always have it extra toasted).Do not forget to have your valet parking ticket stamped.I can not wait to go back soon.
Amazing place. Excellent customer care. Balanced menu with an Arabian zest. Must try deserves 8 Astras by me = 1 micheline. By the kritik
Calming casual eatery. Good food, good staff
I love to go there. It is quiet. I read, I study. The service is very friendly and adorable. Everyone does its best.
Great lounge with a great outdoor ambience and fancy indoor setting
Well worth the money for the afternoon tea.... spent nearly 5 hours there for a relaxing weekend day.
Big dissapointment ! The service went down ! We ordered a Turkish coffee and the taste of that coffee was horrible !No napkins offered ! No sugar offered on the side ! We decided to be outdoor to have some fresh air the only air we got was fish being cooked in the below restaurant ! Horrible smell ! We then decided to go back inside and no staff available ! At one point to staff were by the cashier talking together and not checking on costumer ! I try to get their attention for a good 5 minutes but they just were not interested to look at us !A shame to see such lovely place managed by staff who doesnt really care !
A good place for business meetings. I love their teas and coffees. The staff always wear a smile.
Nice chilled place with amazing view on sunset
Amazing place and yummy coffe, but be ready for 2 cappuccino 90 aed.
It has one of the finest afternoon teas with huge variety of desserts .
Perfect location and view, service is very good. Recommended to have Shisha, Drink or Tea however limited food variety.
Nice Place... Helpful staff... Very artistic Arabian ambiance...
Excellent place for afternoon tea and watch the sea and relax with family
Great breakfast. Great height tea. I dont recommend it for lunch, very limited menu for lunch.
Lovely spot with live piano music, good beverages, and excellent cream tea options ranging from light bite to full spread.
Amazing afternoon tea, food just kept coming and the service was fantastic!
A most serene and pleasant lounge with excellent service
Beautiful setting, great service, but probably the most expensive coffee in dubai. Coffee itself ok and the setting is worth a premium, but perhaps not as much
Lovely atmosphere and great service!
I have been going to this place every time I visit dubai. But this time it felt like a Tourist Trap. They over charge for any thing you ask for with out telling you that it is a chargeable order (extra 3 pcs of scones 101 dhs) and they try to cover for it by faking other orders on the bill. Table stays dirty while your dinning and they only remove what you point at. Deserves 2 stars for location only.
Really great gathering place for friends and family as well as a romantic tete a tete.
Nice location and the staff are friendly.
Very nice views, but food was dissapointing , oreo smoothie was very dissapointing filled with ice.Date pudding was good. But dissapointing
Service outstanding as always. Staff exceptional.
Great place ⭐⭐⭐⭐Infrastructure ⭐⭐⭐⭐Friendly staff ⭐ ⭐⭐Food & snacks ⭐⭐⭐⭐Easy access ♿ ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Toilet ⭐⭐⭐⭐Location ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Suggestion: make available healthy snacks, and a variety of regular snacks as to avoid having guests sneaking smelly food inside a spectacle.Overall experience 4
Amazing view on the sea and good food!
Amazing service every time.
I just love the place since long long back
A fancy cafe in Jumeirah al Qasr hotel.its what you will get in these types of cafes, what exceptional is the lovey seen of Burj AlArab while sitting outdoor on the terrace as shown in the photos.
My view from Fayrooz Lounge
Amazing service. Only comment someone should look at the AC as its really hot during the day
Nice place with piano music
Very very bad service and the staff is not well trained and not professional and dont respect the costumer and dont help him or look at him if they need anything
Excellent atmosphere and good prices.
Very relaxing and amazing view!!
Looked after well
Nice lively place
Best cappuccino in town!
Amazing interiors and amazing view
Very relaxing environment
Food was ok.....but this is right near the entrance of the hotel. The only place in the hotel that was not that friendly, the wait staff were very nice but the manger was cold and dismissive.
High tea was very nice
Good, nice, tasty. As it should be :)
Lovely ambience, friendly staff.
Beautiful place.friendly staff
