The retail shops are mostly for tourists. There is a new addition on the upper floor called Time Out Market which seems interesting. We had a look but will come back to check the place out.

Souk al Bahar is considered as an essential part of the Dubai mall experience. Its restaurants are great, delicious and you have so many options to choose.The parking is very close to the main road and has an easy access.

Loved the Souk Market and it also has amazing restaurants in the Time Out Market. I loved the location too as its opposite to Burj Khalifa and its prime location is in Downtown Dubai. Great place to shop and have great food! The Market can be a bit pricey though.

Has its own 2 hour free parking which is very convenient if you want to cross the connecting bridge into Dubai Mall. Nice mix of souvenir shops, restaurants and other overlooking the lake and good place to view the light show.

Very nice souk/market with many choices of restaurants and bars with excellent view of fountain and as well burj khalifa. Parking is free for first few hours and you get easily. It’s connected to dubai mall so you can walk easily in all area.

Cool traditional mini mall right next to Dubai Mall!Its great to walk around and take in the traditional architecture, as the place doesnt have too many shopping options. A lot of traditional garbs are offered here, but at rather steep prices.One downside to this place was the toilets though. Unkempt and messy, definitely NOT the norm for Dubai.

Go if you dont mind paying for tourist souvenires and want to grab a coffee with a long lost friend or simple enjoy a shisha or a stroll with a view of the dancing fountains.

We love going here because there is parking space available, beautiful view of burj khalifa and delicious food restaurant great experience must visit.

Souk Al Bahar is a place where many antique style / traditional Arabian clothings, jewelry and food available. There are many luxury restaurants with real Arabic taste . If we want to buy souvenirs from Dubai this will be a better place. From here we will get better view of Burj Khalifa and fountain dance. This souk is very beautiful.

Amazing beautiful building and area.........Just at their parking lot of vehicles with drivers by running engine rising temperature very hight even couldnt walk away..........!!!!

We went to timeout market on the 2nd floor of the souk. We arrived just after 12pm and luckily found a table quite easily. The new food market is really modern and has a consistent look to it which equals the playing field for each food stall. There are so many cuisines to choose from and some familiar restaurant names too. It is suitable for families and adult groups with kids menus and alcohol available on site. Its got a smoking area outside the market with views across the fountains. We were there for a couple of hours and our parking was validated at the bar. We were lucky to walk in without an issue, as when we left there was a rather long queue forming for a table. Highly recommend this place and it will be somewhere I will bring all our visitors in the future.

It is a tourist trap but its really nice and has so many restaurants stores to buy abayas and ghandouras, in general a place to walk through. Its located next to the Dubai mall and the fountain so you can see all in one day.

Great place to shop and dine when you hate crowds. Never full on a weekday but just across is the Dubai Mall. WiFi is free and fast. Very small compared to the Dubai Mall but if you want to be shop in peace, go here.

I visited the kid zone play area, which is Super cute and colourful venue, Kid zone dubai is a multi-purpose spot where the environment is both educational and stimulating. It is always very relaxing place full of Resturant’s and yes the view of fountain of dubai mall is always heart-filler. Must visit place for visitors as well as residents if you want multiple type of cousins. Highly recommended

Souk al Bahar is a lovely place, with not only a cozy atnosphere and a splendid view of the Dancing Fountains and the Burj Khalifa. It is a nice market place in antique Arabian style - A beautiful contrast to the Dubai Mall! ☺️

Most of the goods are not distinctive, as they are found in the markets, and at much lower prices than in this place !! Especially the antiques and the prices are exaggerated !! Parking is not free except on some occasions !! It may be free during Fridays and Saturdays, as can be accessed through its location To the Dubai Mall, through one of the market entrances, which directs you to the restaurant square, and there is also a Spinneys supermarket, and a number of Arab restaurants and cafesRecommended for friends. 🤗

A nice souk type of mall, quieter then the Dubai Mall, rather expensive but the ambience is nice. Also Time Out market is on the second floor with an amazing food court and views of the the fountain show.

(-1 Review) Appalling, Racist and Shameful conduct by the glasses wearing security guardI have visited this establishment twice and have received a different treatment based on what I was wearing, one rude and distasteful and the other neutral.On my first visit, I stopped in front of the bridge connecting the Souk Al Bahar and The Dubai Mall to take a picture of my tourist friend in front of the Burj Khalifa. The guard mentioned above started making a scene while shouting to wear a mask and started smirking underneath his mask once I informed him that the picture will only take a few seconds (for reference, I was wearing shorts and a t-shirt).Fast forward a few weeks later, I am coincidentally in the same location, with a different tourist friend and in front of the same guard. I did not get a single remark from the guard this time as I was wearing the traditional dress (Kandura).I would like to implore the management of Souk Al Bahar to conduct some sort of disciplinary or training action against this guard since the post he is placed in is considered the frontal view where visitors come from all over the world and witnessing such disgusting behavior leaves a bad taste with visitors and residents altogether.There are a few ministries that I would assure would not be pleased with this behavior which include but are not limited to the Ministry of Tolerance and the Ministry of Community Development.

Nice touch of tradition contrasting with the monster towers all around. Love the place! Don’t appreciate the crowd of tourists, but it is inevitable. Two of the best free world attractions are there, and the souk is a great vantage point.

Wide range of food to select from.This place is newly opened and it connects to Dubai mall fountains.Free parking available for first two hours and if you purchase anything from inside then additional 2 hours parking is free.

The busiest place with tourists all over enjoying the traditional architecture against the modern Burj Khalifa..it gives you a feel of the old charm in the modern age. Food is awesome and the best place to be positioned to view the Dubai fountain show in the evenings.

If you are looking for bling, this is the place to go. Go early in the morning because dealer dont want to lose the first customer of the day. I guess they think that is bad luck to lose the first customer. Was the first customer at several shops and they were all very willing to negotiate prices with me.

Othaan restaurant and claw are amazing for iftar .. make sure to book first ✌️.. otherwise traditional arabic style mall .. mostly carpets, perfumes , souvenirs and jewellery

Best place to relax with a good view. We had dinner in Thiptara and coffee at Baker and Spice both have amazing views of the Burj Khalifa.

Very nice place with amazing decoration that reflects the oriental style. Many nice restaurants especially the ones with outdoor seating. Easily accessible from both Dubai Mall and it also has its own parking which makes it easy for you if you are going directly there without going to the mall itself.

Souk Al Bahar is close to Dubai Mall, in Downtown located. You find here shops and restaurants. Parking garage is available with 2hours free parking. Souk Al Bahar has a nice ambience and is not overcrowded.All is excellent maintenance, clean and in the usual world class quality of Emaar.

Nice old style souk joined to Dubai Mall. It has some independent shops and some great F&B outlets surrounding the fountains. There are a few access points to it, but the main one is over the bridge, across the lake. Madinat Jumeirah is bigger and also better.
