Desert safari was much more intense and thrilling some years ago. Now its being played on the safe side, but still a must when in Dubai. Food is good and the show is ok but very short. We were lucky to witness a full moon rising and a clear sky

The best experience of my life currently lol. I enjoyed Dubai the most when I went to the safari. We arrived at around 5.30, a rather long drive from the city. We arrived outside and the tyres needed to be deflated just a bit and from there the dessert safari experience began. We were in a 4x4, and it was wild. Definitely not for anyone sick or pregnant. It was an adrenaline drive... Up and down went. I felt like I could do anything. We went around probably for like 20 min or more... Then we went for the dinner but first it was a camel ride, followed by some hubbly, I got henna done on my hand which took less than 60 seconds, there was some entertainment including belly dancing and a gentleman and his skirt lol, maybe itll be different when you go. And then food and then home later on. Id give it 10 stars if I could. It was that amazing.

Fun time but the music can give you a headache

Overall it was an OK experience. Our driver was late. Was told between 3- 3.30 but we were picked up at 4 possibly due to traffic. The safari drive was probably the highlight, going up and down the sand dunes. You are then taken to a camp where they have a camel, take pictures, give you some food, take more pictures and then try to sell you the pictures. Two dance shows, one belly dance and another swirling dervish type dance. The tent part is unnecessary in my opinion and way too touristy and very much a way to sell you more stuff. Food is quite bland too.

Fantastic tour. Specially desert tour by SUV

I expected more based on the advertised adventures. The camel ride was not what I expected. We mounted the camel and went around in a circle and the host took photos. Obviously to sell you pics of you riding the camel. The entertainment was not that great. The food was ok. The best was the riding in the sand dunes. That was extremely fun and scary thinking the driver was going to flip the vehicle in the sand.

What a great experience you really need to this tour would definatley do it again

Loved the experience.....our driver Ali was great at explaining everything and sure did keep me um whats the word (through the dunes) - the drive ah ah but was exciting

Superb experience with this desert trip. The car is comfortable and the driver was really friendly, we got right on the way to the history of Dubai and its evolution over the years.Dune bashing impressive. Then in the camp the activities are certainly purely to amuse the tourist (3 minutes of camel, sand surf we manage with old boards, henna tatoos really ugly !! ...) but here we are more for the atmosphere , the place and the pictures in the desert.The barbecue buffet is very correct.Leaving the hotel at 15.30 and returning before 10pm we had a great time.
