Ambience:The restaurant has a very beautiful outdoor sitting. The view is nice as you can see people walking on the sidewalk of Lamer. It’s a chill place to dine but the flies will drive you absolutely crazy. It is literally impossible to eat comfortable outdoor with the number of flies around.⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️Food:I have been to this place few times , for lunch, dinner and breakfast. The food used to be better before the Corona time. This time I tried the breakfast and the items in the plate weren’t as fresh as I expected them to be. I have no complaints about the quality of food BUT we, a group of 4, had a harrowing experience. We went to this restaurant around 10.30pm on the 10th September 2021. Just before we finished our dinner we saw a rat coming down from one corner of the restaurant. We complained to the waiters and were told that they managed to catch it . After about 10 minutes we saw two more rats . These were large rats. . I hope this is sorted out .

Turkish restaurant with great breakfast options. They serve red tea ( on the house) with breakfast. The only missing thing is the coffee, i didnt like the taste and smell of it.

Good food quality but when we start to order l remained the wetter to write my order to not forget and he said don’t worry, at the end he forgot two dishes of my order.

The restaurant has good Turkish food options. Location and ambience is very good. Service speed is also good. Vegans, vegetarians and People who eat chicken also have very limited options. Good place for meat lovers. Since the location is at the beach it is expensive compared to other city restaurants.

Dined there during Ramadan with my friend. Took the set menu; nice ambience, very good service. The appetizers were great, main dishes were average.. Desert was mediocre, For price of 120DH; one can expect a lot more!

Kaftan is by far my favorite restaurants in Dubai. The service is unmatched. The staff are very friendly and helpful The food is good. The sweets are top notch. They provide mostly free delicious Turkish tea. Kaftan La Mer is no exception to that.Finding a free parking spot on the weekend could be a bit challenging (e.g.: impossible). On weekdays it is usually a matter of a couple minutes.

Not recommend for big groups... We had to wait for an hour to get our soups, which was served after the main dish btw...

Words would be less to describe this place Kaftan Restaurant at La Mer. Everything was top class from food to ambience to its customer service that too on a busy first day of Eid.Most of our order was from grilled and 1 from oven section like Tavuk Pirozla, Karisik Izgara and Sucuklu Kasarli Pide which was good enough for a family of 4.Portions was good and price of each food item is very little over the edge to expensive side but not very expensive.. One reason could be location.I love Turkish cuisine and if anyone else is fan of Turkish food.. I would highly recommend this one.

The breakfast tray options are very limited and the pepperoni is way to heavy in flavor and too thick . Glasses werent clean and our waiter changed them but in time of covid-19 thats not acceptableStaff are freindly and welcoming and the view is amazing and weather was good in the morning

Rude waiters keep us waiting and not serving us to be seated despite come earlier than other people served. We ultimately left the place and will never consider this restaurant for any future plans

Food is below average. The hot mezze mix was not great at all, meat and calamari was smelly. The only good dish we had was a salad.Overpriced and definetly not the same quality it used to be at all.Will not be coming back here again.

However most of them do not even have a Turkish chef or got any Turkish culinary training, Hence the food taste anything but Turkish.From the moment I walked to Kaftan, I have noticed a very refreshing and pleasant atmosphere. Staff are super welcoming, the host, Mr. Saad was extremely charming and his attitude and jokes could keep us wait 30 min for a table to be empty.Most importantly, food was divine. It’s really magical place. All foods are supper tasty not because I’m Turkish :) I always go and the taste real Turkish one! They have also smoky beach part you can smoke shisha and you can taste Turkish foods with European twist .. End with Turkish tea or Turkish coffee please !

One of the best spots in Dubai for Turkish Breakfasts!They have a lovely ambience facing the La Mer beach. Upon being seated, we were served complimentary Turkish tea and the hospitality was great.We tried out their Simit bread with egg, beef soudjouk and Kashaval cheese, known as Sefin SimitI and Bal & Kaymak which included organic honeycomb with Turkish dairy cream, served along with assortment of breads.Both of these items were absolutely amazing and so worth trying.Cant wait to try out more of their menu items which I am sure is bound to be just as good!

Amazing real turkish taste

The adana kebab was dry, over cooked, chewy and greasy! Heard a lot of hype about the place. But if a turkish restaurant cant get adana kebab right, they need to have a serious look into what they are doing so horribly wrong! The 2 points it deserves is for prompt service, location, decor. Certainly not for the food

The location is great. I would’ve preferred to have main courses photos on menu to show food presentation. Grilled chicken in sauce was ok but was just little too greasy for me.

Good Turkish food - we had the Tavakulu pide, Iskender, Gavurdagi salad and their gumpir! Ended the meal with their sweet baklava. Was so good! Their breakfast is also pretty great with decent portionsThis branch is definitely better than the one in Umm suqeim in terms of service. But location wise, this branch can get crowded over weekends and a hassle to get through the La mer traffic

I would surely say this is one the best turkish restaurants i have ever visited in UAE. Taking into consideration that we have visited the place in the weekend during lunch hours, staff arrranged a table for us very fast. The services they provided that day were very professional. We have ordered 4 different dishes and all of them were very tasty. Same I can say about offered desserts, we has very delicious ice cream. Thanks Kaftan team, and keep it up, do not lose the quality.

The food is good there’s a lot of flies in this place so it’s very uncomfortable when you are outdoors. However, the service is horrible. I had an incident were we were late and called the restaurant to notify them that we will be late so they can hold the reservation. The manger met us when we arrived and was extremely rude about us being late had a very bad attitude and the service was really bad. We had apologized for being late but still the attitude was really bad

This review is for the kaftan shisha lounge opposite the restaurant. it has a decent selection of flavours at reasonable prices - you can easily find cheaper however the views and atmosphere at la Mar are what you are paying for. there is food however this is slightly expensive for what you get and thete are better options elsewhere. the only downside was the coal change service - when it gets busy it can be a while inbetween coal changes which can lead to your shisha going out. other than that its a great place with great music and views.

We were in La Mer for dinner and chose the Turkish restaurant Kaftan from a variety of interesting restaurants. All in all, there are many opportunities to eat something in the evening in La Mer and to sit relaxed and relaxed almost on the beach. The way food (appetizers) is served on wood panels is very bad, I prefer dishes because wood cannot be washed well and also sugar for tea is bottled in water. This is not good.
