The ramen is a joke. Meat is like chewing gum. I couldn’t eat it. Smells old like it spent some time in the fridge and then it was just heated in microwave. We had also some teriaki chicken which was ok. But please don’t order ramen, you will be disappointed.

Visited Dubai Mall and had a quick lunch at the food court. With the various options I could have, I ended up ordering this grilled salmon in Umami Restaurant. I was so hesitant to order from Umami since I havent tried it before but their amazing food display caught my attention. So, I gave it a try...And, tadaaa! I made a good decision of trying this. Im not even a fan of seafood but this dish is an exception.

Isn’t amazing to find Japanese Cuisine in the food court of Dubai Mall? I was there to eat brunch coz I got so hungry walking around the mall. Then I found Umami Restaurant in the food court that serves so many tempting dishes. I chose Umami Ramen, I know it’s one of their best sellers and I asked to make it spicy. WOW! is the only word I can say to this soup bowl. BURP!

I had ordered the best-selling Ramen, and the gyoza. The ramen looked similar to Ichirakus ramen-- you would get what I mean if you were a Naruto fan-- and the gyoza was decent. Unfortunately, I had to wait around 2 minutes for my food to get ready.

Waiting time is unbelievable. 25 minutes for the order! So be ready just in case for a random luck to be waiting for ages to get your order done.

Ive ordered grilled salmon bento. They provided us with sticky rice, grilled salmon, 4 pieces of sushi, salad, 2 prawn tempura, 2 vegetable tempura, wasabi, ginger pickle and enough dressing for all. Taste was average compared to other Japanese restaurants. Service was fast. Staffs are friendly and cooperative. Taste 3/5 Price little bit expansive. Quantity was enough Total rating: 3/5

Took long time to wait for the food ..

I have tried different Ramens from different restaurants here in Dubai. I must say that Umami, even in a food court setting, is the best I had. The broth is tasty, meat is tender, and the noodles is cooked just right. My favorite is the chili garlic ramen. I always eat here whenever I see their shop in the food court.

Very goood! Soups, ramen, sashimi bowl - everything fresh and delicious, waiting time 5-15 min. Friendly stuff, the best spot at the food court in Dubai Mall for some sort of healthy food!

A fast food stand specialized in Japanese cuisine, not bad if you are in a hurry and want to eat something fast. Quality of products .... It has to be improved a little, I still understand that it is Fast food

Ich kann die negativen Bewertungen nicht verstehen. Wir waren da, hatten die Umami Ramen. War lecker, Preis Leistungsverhältnis ist völlig ok. Wer für dieses kleine Geld eine perfekte Ramen erwartet ist irgendwie fehl am Platz. Da zahle ich schnell mal das doppelte oder dreifache dafür. Als Mittagessen ist diese Ramen ok, frisch und genügend grosse Portion.
