This is the second time, we visited this place. James is really friendly and approachable. Hope the management will increase the staff, because it shows how James is overworked. Thankful to witness other customers, who were understanding why the food is taking too long to serve.. as James multitask.. James really does the job well. I think the management needs to add another staff so somebody could oversee the food deliveries or answer phone calls.Aside from that, food is really good. I always get freebies. Serving time took a bit long maybe because they dont have enough team in the kitchen too.Price is fairly affordable with the portion of food they serve.Interior is unique and really eye-catching. All the Japanese masks and figurines are IG worthy and tells a story about the cafe.Their customer experience of creating an origami while you wait is a plus and fun! Quite challenging too!

The staffs are nice, they always do their best. Food is so so/good. But if you’re in this neighborhood, this restaurant is a good option for Asian/Japanese food. And it’s good value. Always clean. Happy hours from 9pm-11pm. Get 25% off on selected items. For chicken katsu curry, katsu was deep fried as per the Asian standard 😂. (Not many places in Dubai know how to deep fry food in the proper way.)

THE BEST SUSHI AND MISO SOUP EVER!!! I had the Oishi roll which was the first time I had ever tried warm sushi and it was truly a feast for the senses. The service was impeccable, the atmosphere charming, and the entire experience positively enchanting. Loved the little origami cranes which were everywhere and the free cloth masks! Thank you very much - I cant wait to return :)

First time trying Japanese food in Dubai and this quaint little cafe with hospitable staff and good food didn’t disappoint. Our lunch consisted of the bento box with chicken katsu curry, oishii rolls and pan fried gyoza which was definitely my favorite thing on the menu. The iced cherry blossom drink had a distinctive taste but was refreshing nevertheless. For desserts, the strawberry cream puff didn’t quite meet expectations as it tasted a little dry. However, the cheesecake was a must try-moist, soft and creamy. Also tried a hand at origami which was a bit of struggle but definitely fun. Overall, a great experience!

Me and my Hubby was randomly craving for Japanese food and searched for a near Japanese restaurant when Simply Oishii pop up on google search. We headed to their Al Barsha branch (They have In JAFZA food court and on going construction one in Al Rigga soon!) anyhow, what can I say about this store? A cozy place to dine small but its not crowded. Food? This is where it all matters! Their Ramen is Superb!!! As in literally good Ramen! The staffs are also accommodating and very polite! The food, the staff and the ambiance are excellently compliment one another.Food: If you are looking for an authentic Japanese cuisine and on a budget this place is a must be definitely on your list.Your taste buds will definitely burst in happiness with the umami taste of each food freshly prepared. A gastrocnemius experience I will guarantee everyone who is looking for an honest review.Staffs: 3 simple words to describe, Friendly, Hospitable and Professional. They will guide you with there entire menu to choose what suits your taste. They will prepare each menu that are instagram worthy but taste really good.Ambiance: it might be small for others but for me it is enough to enjoy your food and time to spend with your friends and loved ones. As Japanese also are minimalist people so they simply just followed the culture of Japan with the concept in there restaurant. So what are you waiting for? I’ve always loved Japanese food and culture, wanted to visit Japan to experience it. However with the current situation travelling for a while seems like a dream, but like they say dreams do come true 🤩! So it did feel like mine did when I visited this cute Japanese café called @simplyoishiiuae over the weekend. This cute café is stunning & a deep dive into Japan’s culture and food.As soon as you enter you see the entire ceiling covered with cherry blossoms that gives you a feeling of having a picnic under a blossoming cherry blossom tree, just felt surreal. Everything here just transports you to Japan. The walls in the café are decorated with the traditional artifacts of Japan, elegant Geisha dolls, anime figurines, the famous ghost masks…A perfect place & a treat for the gram.If you are a sea-food lover and have a thing for Japanese food & sushi this is the place for you. We were served an assorted array of dishes that started with ...🌟Refreshing Matcha and Purple Potato drinks🌟Fresh Avocado, Cucumber & Shrimp Maki rolls🌟Crispy Yasai (Vegetable) Tempura🌟A flavourful Yasai Yakisoba (Vegetable Noodles)🌟Vegetable Ramen with an excellent broth and fresh vegetables🌟A scrumptious seafood bento boxFor the sweet treats we were served🌟Rich and luxurious Chocolate Cake🌟Dreamy Japanese cheese cake along with some incredible coffeeWe spent hours at this café without realizing where time went, having such a great time, wearing the Japanese masks and clicking pictures, creating Origami using their DIY books, playing with the cute dolls and anime figurines, it really did bring out the child in us.The amazing ambience, food, dessert and coffee just made the afternoon impeccable. This is an absolute hidden gem and a must visit, a place where they really do celebrate the child within you. This Japanese restaurant has been my go-to since their first opened up!As I used to work in Barsha 1, Thursdays were my favorite day and not just because it was the weekend, but I got to walk and get my Japanese cheesecake along with a coffee here.Simply Oishii has come a long way, and I couldnt be happier about it - from just drinks and desserts, to now serving meals, it is a great upgrade.Potato Meat CroquettesMy first time having this dish, these have a cutlet like shape filled with a mix of potato and meat within, and topped with sauce. The serving is for 2 people as a starter.Super crispy on the outside, and soft, flavorsome, and delicious on the inside, it is a great choice for a starter.Chicken YakisobaThis dish is a noodle dish topped with chicken bites and vegetables. Not something I would have usually ordered as I am sometimes skeptical, but with the suggestion from the staff, I let them help and was a good choice.Wont deny, I mistakenly filled myself with this, that it was a struggle to have the rest!Oishii Fried RollA sushi dish topped with fish eggs, and fried to perfection! For those who arent a big fan of sushi, this crispy sushi will surely win your heart.Ebi TemakiServed in a small shot glass, it is a rice sushi wrapped with seaweed and filled with avocado. This was my first time trying it.Iced Cherry SakuraWhat a beautiful drink this was! Made with strawberries and milk, this delicious cold drink is freshly made, and quite a refresher. They also had the Matcha Sakura, but as I was not a fan of matcha drinks, I let that pass and chose this.Wonderful service and lovely staff, I totally suggest all to give this place a try!

A cute Japanese café located in Al Barsha. It has all the activites like origami, reading Japanese manga books over a cup of coffee and also some amazing Japanese action figures on the wall. The place is perfectly decorated with a feeling of cheery blossom on the ceiling. Loved it Loved it!! We tried a lot of stuff in vegetarian and loved everything we had:Avocado & cucumber Sushi – OMG!! Amazing with wasabi & sliced ginger.Kimchi Ramen – chef specially made a veg variety of ramen for us which was commendable. Spicy kimchi, soft noodles & the broth was totally amazing.Bento Box – My friend had the bento box here since it was from sea food. But it tasted really well.Yasai Tempura – Not bad.. Decent taste but can be avoided since there are better options here.Yasai Yakisoba – the star of the day!!! What an amazing mix of spices and vegies. Loved it!!Matcha Tea & Purple Potato Tea – both yum and totally amazing in flavours. Loved having it with the food. The best part about this place is that the owners have taken care of every intricate detail while designing the café and you would love to spend time or a lovely afternoon with your friends & family here.

Simply Oishi! This humble cafe & restaurant definitely stole my heart. A complete Japanese treat from the ambiance to the dishes. Loved the Sakura in the ceiling accented by origami pieces (some were made by customers). The anime pieces and Japanese figurines are ice catching too.In terms of the dishes, my favorite were the Beef Ramen and Signature Oishi Rolls. Both maintained that aunthentic Japanese taste with a unique twist. The Bibimbap was amazing too. The simplicity of the ingredients made it really addictive. They also have a selection of cute sweets and pastries with iconic j-pop characters!Definitely highly recommending this place and can’t wait to visit again soon.

I LOVED IT. The decoration and ambience of the location was adorable and cute. The service was incredible; the waiter served us with water at the beginning, before we were handed the menu. After we were given the menu, the waiter gave us some origami to entertain ourselves whilst waiting and then we were given masks to take photos of ourselves with; it was enjoyable. The parfaits tasted incredible. We ordered chocolate brownie parfait and chocolate banana parfait. The banana parfait tasted more delicious because it was lighter, but I enjoyed the caramel taste in the brownie parfait. The purple latte was light and delicious, it had more of a milk taste to it than coffee; therefore, it is not the best for coffee-lovers, or those who are looking for coffee, but the cream and design was incredible. However, for non-coffee lovers, it was not horrible and had its own favour. As for the Senchi tea. It is among the best teas to exist. It was soft, easy to be consumed and the taste of water to tea ratio was superb. It was my favourite thing from the menu.I hope to come again to continue trying the different dishes because there seemed to me so many dishes worth trying.

The food is good specially their apetizers but I was disappointed when they served us our main course which is the Beef and Prawn Tempura ramen. Both are lacking flavour and the beef is not even tender. The best beef ramen you can eat should have super soft and tender beef that it will almost just melt in your touge but the one they served is really hard to eat. I’d say the best I got was the Futomaki and gyoza. Maybe next time I’ll try their best selling main course which is their bento.

I wish they could deviate from their menu, I asked for an espresso macchiato and they could only do an espresso or a caramel espresso macchiato.UPDATE: this time we ordered in and stayed for a while. Had to go there with my friends and they had the same comments.. You live in Dubai, treat yourself, your friends & families to Simply Oishi..

This cafè has so much character. I also feel like the collection you see inside tells different stories of their own which add to the vibe you get while sipping your coffee and having a moment :) The decors are aesthetically pleasing and the staff are so welcoming, they make you feel right at home. Everything you order from the menu is also instagram-worthy. :) Price is surprisingly low given the taste and beauty of their cakes and pastries. The location is peaceful and quiet, like literally isolated from the noisy streets but close to the city.

The only meal on a sightseeing trip in Dubai that is comparable in quality to Tokyo and less than Tokyo. The parfait was reasonably priced and tasted safe. Within walking distance from metro station.
