High tables and chairs are not comfortable if you wanna sit there for long period of time. Outdoor sitting area is too hot during summer. Strictly a party place because the music is quiet loud. Very casual. Recommend casual or smart casual clothing. Indoor smoking.

Went here with a group of friends on a Sunday. The good was innovative and excellent quality. The portions were perfect to share. The cocktails were creative and the classic cocktails were perfect. After dinner there was a super good DJ and the place turned into a club. Would definitely come here again!Would definitely recommend the Wagyu sando and the big dessert platter

This Japanese restaurant is absolutely fabulous! Great location, just in front of the Atlantis, lovely deco and ambience, personal super attentive from hostesses to waitresses. Food was outstanding. We had tuna tartare and sushi plater as starter; super fresh and tasty, perfectly seasoned. As main course I tried steak in a hot pot, delicious and soft, one of the best I ever tried, and you cook it in your own hot pan making it absolutely perfect. Highly recommended for dinner out with friends. A must try, you won’t regret!

I never post bad reviews but they deserve it.I didnt check the bill so the guy overcharged me of 300 aed, and he did it twice so it was not by mistake.They think overcharging client will make them rich but they dont understand they can do it once but they lost the client for ever.Plus the place is not that great.It looks better on pictures

Just WOW is all I can say. Beautiful venue with a view of the fountains, plus incredible food and service to top it off. You must try the hot stone Angus if you are a meat eater, it was to die for! Also their speciality cocktail Darling‘s Special was DIVINE! Will definitely be back.

For starters tuna tartare and sushi platter. For mains I can really recommend the seabass! Make sure to try mochi for dessert - mouth watering!

Brunch is not a brunch. They advertise a Thursday night all you can eat/drink brunch, but in reality its just and overpriced set menu. Sushi was mediocre at best with little variety. Ive had better at a university’s cafeteria. They only give you one sushi sampler platter. You wont get a whole roll. I was still hungry so when when I asked for additional sushi they said, sorry this is all you get.

Kyo took my wife and I by surprise with its on-point Japanese flavors.The gyoza with the truffle butter was beyond description as well as the black cod miso hot plate.For the tempura, wayyy above average than your usual Japanese restaurant.We know that their prices are really worth their expertise and precision, but its a tadbit too steep for us really.We wanted to go for the Seafood Teppanyaki, but at Dhs400? Too much for us unfortunately...If money wasnt an issue, Id keep on coming back here or only during special occasions.

Friday brunch is good. The hot place in Dubai. You can see the famous Atlantis Hotel while eating. The food is very delicious and the staff is very kind and hes been watching me all the time to find out what I need. I want to go eat again next time.

I give 3 stars just because of the managers positive attitude.We went there on a thursday evening brunch. The drinks were limited but was OK. The service was very fast. The food was not enough at all and average quality. We were very upset so we complained to the manager. He was very polite and offered us steak on the hot stone which was delicious. And this was maybe the only delicious food we had. And we got a very nice plate of deserts. We paid around 300aed per person.In terms of Covid19 precautions all the employees were wearing masks, everything seemed to be clean and there was enough distance between tables. In my opinion its an average restaurant.

I took my 8 year old daughter as a treat and the whole team couldn’t have made her feel more special. The food was fantastic, my daughter loves sushi and this was her favorite ever, the steak cooked on a stone was incredible like cutting butter. They even took my daughter to meet the chef and watch them prepare the sushi. Food was great but the service even better.

Pretty good and tasty sushi, nothing wow, but everything is fresh and its a good spot for a family or friends get together. When we went in early January, they almost had no wine left, due to shipping / deliver issues from Europe. You also obviously get a nice view of the fountain shows and as its all the way at the end, its slightly less busy than rest of pointe

The views are amazing and the fresh air really does help.I went there for brunch with my friends and although the food was good, it was a disappointment to find that they had removed all sashimi items from the brunch menu.We went there for sushi and sashimi so we didnt have any of the other offerings but focused only on the sushi. It was fresh and delightful. The wine was really good too and was free flowing.The best part of our outing? The staff. They were lovely! They always smiled, reacted to and made jokes with the group and were filled with positive vibes.I would definitely recommend this place to everyone as it does provide options to sushi and nonsushi lovers alike.

First we really had a hard time searching for the place we had to take long u turn because it was on the other side. Parking was a breeze. The Pointe had lots of basement parking. Upon reaching the place we were greeted with a huge smile from the staff. The place was cozy and the ambiant lighting was perfect. The restaurant was very clean and well organized. The food was great. I highly recommend the sashimi salmon and the wagyu stone. I thank the staff for the hospitality and the outstanding service.

Horrific hostess. We booked a table for Valentines day and the man on the phone was very friendly and happy to have us. When we arrived the hostess said there were no available tables (even though they had one table occupied and on the phone the man said they werent busy) and assured us she was the only person who answered the phone. She made us feel very unwelcome and said the only place we could sit was inside the restaurant in the corner. I dont know if she was having a bad day and decided to take it out on us, but I have never been treated so poorly before as a customer and it was totally unacceptable. We of course decided to go elsewhere and wont be coming back.

The decor and setting were contemporary and nice. They had private outdoor seating areas with cooling mist machines.The wagyu beef on hot stone was amazing. Their dessert was one of the best variety I had in Dubai in 17 years. The other dishes were ok.

Most of the staff are customer friendly.The low score is because:1) The digital menu dont have any pictures regarding sushi or all food the offer. If you are not familiar with Japanese food you will find difficult to choice.2) Most of tables are placed outdoor, so if you seating outside in December or January, bring something warm because the restaurant can not support you with any solution.3) The food price is high compared with other competitors as Shiro Restaurant, Sushi Art or Yo sushi.4) The taste of the food wasnt great, I will say basic level.5) very limited selection of beer

Went for a Saturday brunch. Good starters on the 1st stop and then, sushi, sashimi. Not so enthralled by the mains, especially the fried kushiage it was not tasty at all even the cheese, its bland. The grilled Kushiyaki which is the octopus and chicken skewers were okay, the beef was chewy. The service was okay, lack of training i would say, they dont communicate well. 3 different servers came asked the same question what package we were having. The Red wine was served cold. The servers were just talking to one another instead of being attentive. No brainer the view was amazing and ambiance is great and relaxing.

Pretty gorgeous atmosphere we can enjoy here in The Pointe facing The Atlantis just at the opposite side of The Palm Jumeirah. The wide variety of Japanese dish is your option here but Sushi selection is quite limited. What I loved here is Kushi Age which is superbly nice!

Very new restaurant with a stunning fountain view.I found it hard to read through a long menu, I needed photos as I dont remember the difference between nigiri and uramaki by heart. We only had to opt for a platter with 23 pieces for 260 aed.Very nice service though and delicious rose wine.

Starters and cold dishes were excellent. The hot food not so much. The meat trio hot plates: beef was chewy, chicken OK and seafood meh.Sadly only 1 Male toilet for the entire restaurant - for both levels, which resulted in queuing. There is ample floor space for a bathroom upgrade.Service ranged from attentive to lackluster. When the big manager was floating about things seems to be improved, but when he would go downstairs again, servers would seem to disappear, along with our requests.

Did not like the food nor the service & attitude of the staff. The chicken tepanyaki was served cold as if it had been sitting for a while. The fried rice came after the food which made them even colder. The sushi cut roles (spicy fatty tuna, Hamachi, soft shell crab) had no taste. Quite easily the worst Japanese food Ive had in Dubai. Never going back.

We went to this restaurant on Friday at 8-30 pm( before we called for reservation and they told us no need). Used to go this place time to time even when it was almost empty and had dinner with drinks on the sofa ( never had any problems before). This time management refused this option (only 5-6 people can sit there ) even restaurant was empty! All sofas were not busy and I don’t think that from 8-30 they could have so many guests ( at 8-30 pm only 2-3 tables were busy ). The attitude of manager ( waitress told us he is owner) was terrible. He didn’t even look at us and just said no. FYI we were planning to have dinner with drinks and deserts! And I recommended this place to many friends before but not anymore ! So you just lost clients for nothing. We left the place and found a better one.

I wish I could remove the one star.Very bad customer service and staff attitude was bad. Coffee were served cold.we were having our coffee before we order dinner when approached by one of the staff asking us to leave because they are back to back and have other customers waiting for table when more than 50% of the tables were empty. when complaining to the owner he said that we were not going to order dinner. So he was guessing and we were treated base on his guess and asked to leave by his staff.

Great views, nice sushi, drinks ok. However, service was very slow, one sushi came after about 20 mins and second after good 45 mins which is not nice, food should come together and seriously, how much time does sushi take to make?? Definitely not coming again and not recommending to come to anyone, purely based on service.

We talk to the owner and the owner itself dont even bother to apologise for his manager action. It took forever for the food to arrive. Once it finally came, the food lacked salt, there was no soy sauce for the sushis. This order was wrong. Having so many options in The Pointe, I will not recommend this place.

They serve amazing breakfast with plenty of traditional Japanese dishes to choose from. Must try their omelette with grilled eel on a top and mushrooms on a side. Another hidden gem is Kyos hot lavender punch made of fresh basil leaves, jasmine tea and a bit of lavender syrup. Yummmmm.

Their ladies night on Mondays its an EXCELLENT offer. Food delicious, service super good.Month after: hospitality is the best in Dubai. Love the place. All the staff is well trained, service is perfect, food delicious, nice ambient. Cant praise enough.
