This is probably our 10th time doing the live cooking 🧑‍🍳 🥘 experience. It’s a must try if you want to entertain your guests (but the jokes and tricks become repetitive & redundant)We ordered some Suchi rolls as appetizers and went with Rocky’s choice as well as Orient Pearl (highly recommended)The place can do with a better quality meat, the seafood 🦞 🦀 🐟 is good but they eventually serve very small portions in the live station (comparative to the price)

A fun experience with family and friends. One thing you should do is tell the chef up front what your spice, salt and other taste preferences are. This is a 2 hour experience so relax and enjoy the show and the food.

OMG what an experience!!!! We had no plans for the night and randomly called Benihana to check for a reservation and luckily they had a place for the last reservation at 10pm.The atmosphere or the place itself are not exceptional until the experience at the chef’s table starts. The food is also fine but the chef’s humour is incredible. We laughed all night and he made it an unforgettable experience. It’s not allowing me to post video as they are the best and it was so much fun I was taking videos the whole time and barely remembered to take photos.If you are going to Benihana you should definitively sit at the chef’s table otherwise it’s not the same experience.P.S ive been to koko hana in Paris and it was as good of an experience!Have fun and thanks again to our wonderful chef!

Enjoyed the food and great hospitality. The waiters addressed me with my name !The food was great and I was stuffed by the time I finished my dessert.I had the lobster tail and Angus steak combo. The combo included a salad and miso soup which were good. The main dish and appetizer were mixed together on the same dish which was a first for me, but I didnt mind as it tasted great.The presentation was great and food didnt take too long to prepare.

Awesome Food it was our second time there with hibachi cuisine teppanyaki table with excellent chef Bernard and food was not even great it was entertaining as usual. Sake is great and Ambiance is wonderful. Staff is friendly and courteous.

Got served sticky sushi rice as ‘steamed rice’ . Tasted like western Teppanyak. Also got food poisoned

I never took the time to write a post about a dining experience in Dubai but todays experience was really so disappointing. Ive been wanting to try Benihana for quite some time and today when we arrived to our booking on a Friday the place was complety empty, we were the only ones there. The restaurant area smelled like something rotten and I asked them about the reason and requested them to spray something. The table were we sat had some ants which was my second surprise and I was wondering what is the issue with hygiene!? The menu was very limited in terms of sushi options so we had 5 orders and requested if they can customize something else with crab and shrimps - then the chef joined and told us why dont you remove one of your items and I have something else to offer we said yes....the taste of the sushi was very average and when the bill came the price of the chefs recommendation was triple the price of what we have ordered which made no sense at all. It was a total disappointment and will definitely not repeat this experience.

The service we received from Jason and Rajni was A++++ lovely guys, they made our night. We were the last customers at 11:45pm and they didn’t rush us and were very attentive.We later found out it was Jason our chefs birthday, he stayed back to give us a live show even though it was his birthday, and didn’t rush anything.Thanks guys will recommend to all - made the evening memorable.

My spouse and I visited Benihana during our recent stay in Dubai and, as regulars for the last 7 years, we were just as pleased as ever. The quality of the food is excellent and we would like to applaud the manager Thomas for such a highly responsive and dedicated team of staff in the kitchen and in the restaurant. The outdoor terrace is excellent. Well worth a trip.

Went during a theme night which had live cooking station. The staff are extremely friendly, very supportive and extremely funny. No matter what they will make sure to put a smile on your faces and get you to also engage with the other guests seated around the table.

I loved the experience of eating the Japanese food and watching the chef clocking in front of me. And the food was very good too. Thanks ☺😍😍

Dont bother making a reservation. Completely disorganized. We delayed 15 min advising when they called due to being our first time here, with kids and not finding the place after parking. They said they would hold the table for the “show” experience and when we arrived they said no show table available only the regular tables al acarte. The place was completely empty. Kids disappointed I’m never returning here again. What was the point of even calling to tell us they would hold the table? Turned our backs and waked away. Lets see what their “bot” replies...

The service became very bad. They are understaffed. The food is still good specially the live show

Really great food: taste and wuity

Food was great service was excellent and the staff were amazing but what let the place down was the tepenyaki table was really hot and uncomfartable to sit around when it was mentioned to the staff their they said it is because of the cooking table in front of us... maybe you can lower the temperature around that area perhaps a thought otherwise it was great to see the live cooking and the chef was great .

Japanese Buffet on Tuesday night .. great food. they put small portion on the buffet keeping the food always fresh and Tepanyaki cook for order .

Our chef Nelson treated us and the kids at our table to a great experience. Delicious food, an entertaining show and great service. A nice change from the usual restaurant experience and the price just cant be beat. We really enjoy the Teppanyaki experience from Benihana. I forgot the name of our chef but hes very funny and entertaining. The food is good and the portion is just right. Its very exciting and good for spending time with your family and friends.

Never had sushi before. Now I love it. This place is awesome quality.

Benihana is one of the best restaurants in dubai so far, so i tried their brunch and it was a big buffet outdoor brunch thomas was very friendly... they also had play area for kids... Godwills was very attentive.

I have visited benihana’s all over the world, and unfortunately this one falls short. Firstly Benihana is famous for their 2 sauces, a ginger dipping sauce and a sesame sauce (used mostly for meats)- the sesame sauce was missing and was instead replace by a thick buttery tasteless sauce that has nothing to do with Japanese cuisine. Second major issue was regarding garlic- which is often such a strong and inviting scent at teppanyaki restaurants. it was the first time i had to request they add garlic to our teppanyaki dishes- also that fresh garlic wasn’t available (what do you mean its not available??) and instead they brought crispy pre fried garlic- which i kept having to order more portions of to add to our dishes. When you cook teppanyaki at a live table, for example beef, you put butter, FRESH GARLIC and some soy sauce. Garlic was missing from everything including the fried rice which its a key ingredient for. Huge let down. If that wasnt bad enough the butter that was used for every dish had the look and consistency of peanut butter, and gave a horrible after smell which i later realized was present when we arrived for our dinner seating. That butter didn’t taste nor look right, was almost a light brown color instead of creamy yellow. The service was ok, our chef did his best although he was obviously not the most trained chef- he still entertained. The wait staff was courteous but we often had to repeat something we ordered more than once. All in all a lot of room for improvement, and really quite different from what Benihana used to be.

Love coming here for the teppanyaki table ONLY. The food is great and while I’m not the type to get involved with the chefs entertainment, they are always funny and put a smile on everyone’s face.

One of the best restaurants with the best entertainment for the whole family. A night out that everyone will enjoy and they cater for gluten-free diets.

Lovely! Food was amazing, service too. We had a set menu of 5 dishes and it was both filling and very delicious. Waiters were competent enough to explain each dish and make recommendations on the menu. Entertainer app is welcome.

Love this place! The sake are amazing and the food too. We enjoyed the hibachi cuisine with an excellent chef! I think maybe the style of the restaurant could be refreshed.

This is so far the higlight of my culinary experiences in Dubai. Greeted by very friendly staff, seated with a great view. Got a few well prepared and delicious starters before the chef brought on the show. Chef Bernard did an amazing job entertaining the guest at the same time as preparing some fantastic dishes for us. The food was great, but I would say the interaction with the guest created a better atmosphere than the food itself. Will return, for sure!

If youre going to Benihana, you have to make sure you reserve a seat at the tepenyaki table.The chefs are very entertaining, as is the entire dining experience. And the staff are kind and helpful.And their food, of course, is great too! Good job to the entire team at Benihana for making my visit a memorable one :-)

EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED. Nothing like the Benihana I am used to. This different menu and bento box combination sucks. I am a HUGE Benihana fan. I search out for restaurants wherever I travel and visit them. This is the first time I was completely deflated from a visit to Benihana.

Overall, we had a fantastic experience when we went here. We had the teppanyaki experience which was loads of fun. The teppanyaki experience, although a bit high in price, does come with great value such as soup, salad, rice, main, and a dessert all included. Food tasted great and the chef made us laugh quite a lot. Highly recommend it.

Very expensive for what was, a very sub par meal. Ordered the Meat Special Menu, asked for medium cooked - steak was blue rare to the extent that could not be cut with a knife. Onion soup was the best part of the meal. Price wise, we paid double what we thought the meal was worth. I would avoid unless you have children who will enjoy the constant noise of the banging of knives and spatulas, if so, prepare to pay extortionate prices for the pleasure of the show. Very disappointing.

Had tonight teppanyaki in the Benihana and can recommend it. The food quality is very good (we had one of these combo menues) and our cooker entertained as very well. If youre looking for good japanese food and some entertainment while you eat, this is a good place to go. We got today without reservation there; but on weekends I would recommend to make a reservation. They have only three teppanyaki tables at nine seats and it could get quickly crowed.Really a place to visit!

The show was fun, the kids liked it but they are tricking their customers. They sell meat and call it wagyu, when it most definatly is not. The meat was actually very bad.

Sashimi and salads were very tasty, while sushi was just normal, nothing extraordinary. We also ordered lemon and mint juice and were disappointed as it was diluted compare to other places in Dubai.

This place used to be one of the best in Dubai a few years ago. Steaks and sushi were amazing. But now, everything has changed. If you want a steak, you should be prepared to get small sliced pieces of meat instead of a proper piece of steak. We didnt even get a knife&fork with the steaks, so we had to eat with chopsticks. Food portions became much smaller, yet prices have increased unreasonably. Very unsatisfied with this restaurant, such a big negative change.
