I will be purchasing metlife policy in a while, but before doing that i would really like to appreciate customer service staff, especially Mr. MADHUKAR and MS. JUHI. They clarified all my doubts over email. I hope and pray this kind of service continues throughout. Thank you all, it makes me really happy that after speaking to most of insurance companies in UAE, I found metlife as the only one company whose each and every staff deliver the same information unlike other insurance staff where 2 people from same co. Will say 2 different things.

Absolutely pathetic customer service , with non responsive staffs and poor system with way too long processing time for even simple things.I have been trying to procure a EBP medical insurance for my daughter since July 24 , 2021. Firstly i could not fill in the details thru their online portal because of some technical glitch in their side . After numerous emails and incessant follow up (ie. After 5 days ) i had posted all the necessary details required to procure the package.I have made the payment immediately upon receipt of invoice through wired transfer ( for which i have not received any receipt , as per their promised timeline of 2 days ) and the service time line for approval of the insurance is 15 days. Here i am at the end of 15th day and after multiple follow ups , their sluggishly slow sales team is working on my policy yet and i am regretting in all possible ways to have chosen this good for nothing insurance company.For anyone reading this post , i would suggest .. GO FOR ANY OTHER INSURANCE COMPANY BLINDLY AND IM SURE IT WILL STLL PROVIDE A BETTER SERVICE THAN THIS.

They are late replying to emails sent to their customer service address (they promise to attend your request within 2 or 3 days but they dont actually do it), they are not clear at all when they talk about the treatments that they cover. In my case I have a 100% coverage, an email from them explaining which hospital can cover my required treatments under direct billing (no hassles) but the reality is that when I go to the hospital I have to pay even for a single radiography.I strongly dont recommend this insurance

One email of yours will be responded in 3-4 days. And if you have any complaint/issue that will get at least a month to ve resolved. I have never seen such pathetic service in any other organization in UAE.

The worst plan. They take the same amount of money even though they do nothing to make your investment fructify. in fact the just let it lose value without doing anything, so you wonder which services you are paying for. Worst customer service, they do not reply in time and do not even take into account your request. When you want to close your account they take ages to process it and of course at the worst rate. Horrible experience with the most incompetent staff. The contract itself is a ripoff. Organised robbers. Disgusting.

Poor Customer service, shared documents 2 weeks back (15 June 2020) post follow up for 2 weeks that someone will call me to explain the policy details and got a call directly today for payment without even sharing the details or checking any medical condition, sales team is least bothered and dont want to do the business i guess - Mr. Fameer from God knows which department calls and kept on saying i will get a call, does customer service work this way ??? Metlife has lost a customer - i promise to put this in gulf news as well - this is not the way to do business, wish i can speak to someone from the management and express my pain in followups from almost a month - please stop fooling around people - this is not the way to keep customer waiting and then saying you will get a call. Dont test customers patience please - There are many others ready to provide better service then your team. Service for metlife was not this way - Because of few people the brand name is going down. i wont ever deal with Metlife again.

Dear investors, please think 10 times before you invest. I paid every month 500 dhs up to 5 years. 2007 to 2012. In 2014 when I went to claim the money agent advised me claim after 5 years and you will get good returns. This year I surrender that policy. I got shocked when he told me the returns amount. 100% I paid 5 years back but I got only less than 10%. I am very upset and I trying to contact that agent but he is India. Whom can I ask. When I asked them theyre telling this is company policy. You have to monitor every day by online.but agent nothing told about this.God please forgive them.

Absolute WORST customer service ever! After filling out the contact us form, following up on call with an actual person only to be told to be contacted again but nobody did, sent a follow up email and all I get is automated response. Its an absolute nightmare to get guidance on how to terminate one of my policies. The experience in getting a real person to provide any useful information is worse than getting a root canal ten times over.I would rethink getting any insurance from this company.

Never ever get trapped of buying an investment or any unit / equity linked policy from Metlife. There are agents and brokers who wil try every trick to trap you but trust me Metlfie wouldnt give you a single $ back.Its a scam and the small details in document explains that f you surrender you loose all your money.Stay away from Metlife.

Worst place to get Insurance. Staff in different branches are rude. Customers queries are never answered. Group of cheaters. Verbally they give you high figures for payout but they pay less and deduct heavy amount. I will not prefer this to any friend or family member.

The most useless insurance I have seen in my life... Need approval for every single requests from the doctors and always rejected from the insurance for not valid reason.... they will let you pay for any consultation and when you do the claim form most of the time your request denied for not valid reason.Not recommended insurance at all....

Lazy, inaccurate first time assessment even if your file is complete. They love to waste time to delay the payment of your claim.A claim was pending for 16 days with no update or clarification from their side. They emailed later to let me know that I need to submit a document that was already submitted.

I have had the worst experience with their call centre and operations team. I am not complaining about their coverage or approvals which is another pain but really they have the worst customer service ever in UAE.Bottom line their staff is not trained properly and hence incompetent.

Not truthful information . The silver card insurance doesn’t work for anything it’s cost 3k, only gold which is not provided by company for mid employees , although they assured American hospital its in the list of basic network , photo attached , I had to pay 700 aed for consultation , so this insurance doesn’t cover anything if u r not gold .

Dont invest in a company that will give you no access to your savings when you need them. Metlife will take 100% of your savings if you decide to to stop investing with them and you will end up losing money instead of saving. Their investment schemes are made to trick people into putting their savings. Please save your money and invest somewhere else
