The Yellow Chili Restaurant has been offering consistently good food over the years. Today I visited them with my family after a long time to try their new menu. As usual the food was excellent. Everything that we tried from mocktails to soup, salad, starters to main course and dessert was fabulous. Good food was complemented by great hospitality and flawless service.

Typical North Indian Food restaurant, nothing out of the blue, regular menu with good taste.A decent hotel to go to for regular outing, location is excellent and ambience is good too. The staff is easy to go.Biryani is just awesome and the Ras malais as well are very nice. All in all good place to go to with family, parking available as well in the mall. They say it is by Sanjeev kapoor but the food is not overpriced it’s a budget restaurant.

This is a delivery review. So we received a delivery from Yellow Chilli which is an amazing Indian food serving restaurant in Dubai owned by Chef Sanjeev Kapoor. As popular as his name is, the food & restaurant has done a wonderful job serving the authentic Indian food to us here in Dubai. They are strategically located in a couple of malls in Dubai and have an amazing ambiance & service. Right from serving snacks to main course to desserts, this place is really perfect. We ordered a couple of items mentioned below:Chana Jor Garam Tikka – Filled with paneer and masalas, this tikki is perfectly made and tasted yum.Adraki Paneer- This is the first restaurant that serves amazing quantity of paneer with yellow gravy. It was creamy, yummy and had a perfect blend of spices. We loved eating it with a basket of rotis sent.Nizam Biryani – The perfect biryani and one of the most flavorful one in Dubai. A mix of vegetables, masalas in long rice, this biryani is served with a bowl of yogurt raita. It was perfectly made and tasted awesome! Not too spicy, not to mild, we really enjoyed eating it.Gulkand Gulab – A gulab jamun filled with gulkand was the highlight of the evening for me. It was soft, gooey, not very sweet and the portion size was perfect for 1 person. Loved eating it!All in all, an amazing place with mind blowing food in Dubai. Go ahead, give them a try, you will thank us!

It was a Suprise!!!! I ordered the Thali, and the taste was good. However, it is not unlimited, and a portion of the items are very less, there is only one tiny portion of rice, and one Roti comes with your Thali; I used to have thali before in yellow chilli, but it was unlimited and not sure when they changed. And Entertainer Vouchers is not valid for this Dish nor the Zomato Pro. Totally Disappointed 🙁

Poor experience. Ordered Butter Chicken and another curry. The Butter Chicken was a shallow bowl decorated with some gravy and 4 small pieces of chicken. Best part is the price of this decoration. AED54.Surprising that this decorated shallow butter chicken took 25 mins to prepare.Would not recommend at all.

The Yellow Chilli by Sanjeev Kapoor is a chain of casual dining restaurants with a degree of exclusivity and a touch of simplicity that is as unique as its name. We went to the one which is in the ground floor of Burjuman Centre, on a Friday. Place has an ample parking, easily accessible and centrally located. We were greeted very cordially by Mr.Joni.We ordered Paneer Tak a Tak, Paneer adraki Dhanita, Lalla Mussa Daal, Garlic Naan, Pyaaz Mirch ki roti, Veg Biryani. All of them were equally good, however the one which we liked most was their Veg Biryani. It had all ingredients and aroma to be labelled as a perfect biryani. Not to forget Lalla Mussa Daal as well which is also one of the signature dish in all Sanjeev Kapoor themed restaurants. Pyaaz Mirch ki roti is something new and should be tried and we loved it.Special thanks to their staffs specially to Mr. Joni. We plan to visit them again and relish on their curries.

Heard so much about this restaurant that finally decided to give it a try sometime back. The food was Good, loved mutton curry and the biryani. Food was really good though I wish they had more options when it comes to drinks. The place is always crowded So dont expect to get a seat immediately! The staff was polite and helpful. The place was clean and well maintained. Though it was a bit crowded when we went.Worth a visit I would say if you are into Indian food.

Yellow Chilli restaurant (By renowned Chef Sanjeev Kapoor) is located in Burjuman Mall near to the Carrefour supermarket in ground floor. We tried their Dahi Ke Kabab (in starters) which turned out to be crispy and good! The dish presentation was beautifully done! 👨‍🍳✌🏻⭐️⭐️⭐️Also, in main course tried their Shaam Savera which was ok but can be better as its their recommended and signature dish. It was bit sweet and the gravy was ok; just need to work on taste as the presentation was good!Customer Service: GoodRecommended 👍🏻

This restaurant is a disgrace to Sanjeev Kapoor.i placed an order for a fixed time for pick up. They gave me call in 15 mins and said its ready when I highlighted i had placed an order for an hour later.I did go an hour later and though i was not keen to pick up the conversation and accept it as a genuine mistake the rude staff at the reception picked up a conversation on why I placed an order 90 minutes in advance when I told them it was clearly mentioned it needed to be ready for a fixed time. Now they change the story and say they started preparing when they called me, which was a lie. I did highlight I was disappointed but the reception staff started arguing. I just accepted that he was right and walked away. Cannot waste my time at such restaurants when there 100s of better ones within 1 km radius. I am generally not fussy about such things and mistakes happen but the rude staff forced me to write this review.

I went there with family over a weekend and it was a bit disappointment. I ordered chicken biriyani, methi murgi tangdi and bread basket. The biriyani rice was okay but the chicken was not fresh. Later we were told that methi murgi tangdi wasnt available and they recommend we order some other dish. Again the chicken didnt taste fresh. When the bill came we were billed for the wrong item. Overall the food tasted just like any other small restaurant out there. For this price and brand value we had higher hopes. I may have been served a particularly bad lot as other review are generally good for this restaurant, but my experience was not that good.

On a summer evening they are serving warm food. The plate is super hot and the food inside is cold. I guess they’ve just heated in microwave and serving food. A big disaster from a legendary chef Sanjeev Kapoor ji… Starter we’re served cold and main course warm. Very bad experience. I don’t recommend.

Worst experience !!Looks like they have double treatment for their customers !! Visible when we waited for 25 minutes to get our food followed by chutney at the end.Very poor service and items are of standard taste and nothing to differentiate.Had butter chicken and quantity seems to be like painted on the plate; never seen such a quantity where two roti will finish the curry for AED 44.Even the mutton curry of no taste and it’s a mix of masala in boiled few pieces of mutton.Naan delivered in first order is of small size and it doubled in second order.Overall it’s not a place to be recommended for North Indian food.

If youre a foodie who loves fine dining, The Yellow Chilli is an excellent place to experience the best of Indian cuisine. Located at the Gfloor at Burjuman Mall and with ample seating space. Its an ideal destination to spend time with great food with family & friends. For the food we orderedFrontier Mix Grill Platter- Its a mixed grill woth Chicken, fish, prawns & mutton kebabs. The different taste of each protien was unique and tasty.Drinks we haveStrawberry Mojito and Tarbuza . Very refreshing. For the main course we hadPaneer Takatak. is a lip smacking curry that pairs well with naan or roti. If you are bored of your regular cashew and cream loaded paneer curries, then it is time for Paneer Taka Tak.Chicken Changezi-It was a delicious chicken gracy with rich ingredients. It was perfect and suitable for the Butter naan and Roti we had .For the dessert we had-Zauk E Shahi. it was mini gulab jamun and bread in rabri. This was a total fusionrich and shahi flavors . Absolutely loved it. Staff are smiling and friendly and very attentive. Mr. Raj Kumar was an excellent host. Loved everything about this place.

Always wanted to try this place having tried the fine dining of Sanjeev kapoor in Al Nasr.We went for a business lunch therefore it was empty.Service was quick & prompt, somehow the waiter was suggesting non signature dishes & felt like those were the ones they already had in set menu. For the price we paid AED 190 for 3, quality of food & taste did not live up-to Sanjeev Kapoor brand. Not impressed overall

We had great expectations from our previous experience with Sanjeev kapoor however this outlet was a complete disappointment. We ordered keema tari with roti and shahi biryani. The biryani was plain bland taste (, actually it was technically plain pulao with yogurt and not biryani.Keema was little better than biryani but still not up to Sanjeev kapoor name.

The yellow chilli by Sanjeev kapoor existed in Dubai for years and I got the chance to dine in here only recently. We went to the Burjuman branch which is quite spacious and got an outdoor seating too.Started off with a santratantra which is an orange 🍊 based drink with ginger and cumin. It was unique and refreshing.Next we went on to try santri murgh chaat. This was delicious and loved the dressing in it. This again had orange slices along with variety of bell peppers which made it really appealing. For starters, we had the chandni kalyan with chicken grilled in mild spices. It was delicious and tender and our son liked it as well.Moving on , we tried Nalli Rogan josh, Anglo Indian bahaar along with butter naan and butter roti. Anglo Indian bahaar is a good one for vegetarians with selection of vegetables in a bed of palak.Nalli Rogan josh was great combination with butter naan. Finally for desserts, we had rabdi falooda which is made in house and was different unlike the usual falooda that I have tried.Verdict: Every dish has a signature touch of Sanjeev Kapoor and it will never let you down in terms of taste and value for money

Amazing place with amazing Indian food! Ive been to this place so many times and have tried so many of their dishes with friends, alone and some times this place has served as a melting point, so to say for my loved ones from other nationalities via their delicious butter chicken! Each of the dishes is amazing but what stood out for me were their kebabs, biryanis and desserts, apart from the butter chicken ofcourse. Their seafood is also great! I felt some of the dishes were a bit pricey for the quantity, but the taste compensates for all! Their friendly staff and quick service despite the restaurant being busy is something that made me a frequent visitor to this place!

I find that the rice is very dry. The chutney and sauces are nice, freshly cooked everyday. The briyani is so-so. Place is packed on weekends, but able to get table by 20 minutes. Be very patient while waiting for your order. Some stuff on the menu has to be freshly made, so with all the orders and small kitchen that can get a tad annoying to wait. But overall, its okay. If you want a wider variety of choice, best to go to the foodcourt upstairs.

This is definitely one of the best Indian restaurants in Dubai. The food is a medley of flavors and textures with exceptional use of spices. The best featute is that the spices enhances the ingredients rather than overpower them as is the case in many Indian restaurants. The staff were extremely courteous and the ambience was good. Overall I would rank this as one of the top 3 Indian restaurants in Dubai. For all my non Indian friends and readers, this is the true taste of Indian cuisine.
