With an incredibly wide array of choices in Mexican, Indian and Italian, its going to be a long read at the menus in Little Italy!Continuing to maintain the cosy setting, complete with tight spaces between tables, traditional placemats and great staff, its actually great fun to casually dine here. However with all that is said, any restaurant worth commenting about should have good food and that was simply not the case anymore. Pastas were OVERLOADED with sauce and cream (the green dish photo was a customized Black Ravioli in Pesto sauce), the Nachos were fried puris covered in very slimy yellow cheese (the kind you get in the cinema... only more yellowed and watery here) and the pizzas were absolutely loaded with corianderThis is not what Little Italy used to be. I remember going to their former locations and enjoying the food, coming out fully satisfied. This wasnt the case as far as the food went. The most Kudos actually went to the Garlic BreadI would say the staff are dedicated and hard working but occasionally not attentive (my friend ordered a tortellini with Less Sauce, and described it and confirmed again by our waiter.... unfortunately first attempt was what you could call Pasta Sauce with a bit of Tortellini in it)I did appreciate that the team did whatever they could to accommodate the 14-person table we were... really, hats off to them. However, at the end, I am disappointed to say Little Italy is unfortunately Little in taste.
From my posts, it is obvious to everyone how I am obsessed with Desi cuisines. I am always on a hunt for restaurants which do justice to this delicious and traditional delicacy. On my forever-lasting hunt, I came across Akss dDubai. This place stole my heart. From its desi-style pizza, to its tangy gol gappas, spicy bun kababs and chilled beverages, everything was par excellence. Not only was the food amazing, the ambiance was swoon-worthy too!
Huge range of choices, but a hit and miss for me sorry :(. It was so so
Vegetarian Italian and Mexican food. Full of Indians on a weekends in Dubai. We loved the food and ambeince which was new and waiting area is merged inside dining area, well worth a visit. Good price and totally vegetarian
Yummy food. Buffet was Bit pricy and very small portions of starters were served... We had to ask for more which came after a little delay.
Its not value for money, too much expensive, dhs.34/- for 4 pcs of Beans Tacos? and dhs.51/- for Napoli Pizza? and its was served in simple way.
Our family favourite restaurant
