First time to Dubai and desperate to have a good meal inside Burj Al Arab. Al Muntaha was one of our choice and we finally went there last night. The staff are helpful and providing very good service. Ingredients was fresh but taste and presentation of dishes was not impressive. Price wise, not expensive for a fine dining.

My husband and I visited Dubai back in September 2017 for his 35th birthday. I made a reservation for Al Muntaha in July to make sure we get a table there! Make sure to have rsvp prior going there!Ambiance, view, decoration, and people all were spectacular. It was totally worth the money we spent! We had an amazing time and experience. My hubby was truly amazed with the service, quality of food and view as well.

Dead atmosphere. Literally no one there, on top of that service was really slow. The food did not match up to the burj al arab standards, and was presented like I was eating outdated 1980’s style food.

We chose to go here as part of our half board package, staying at the Zabeel Saray. We had the restricted menu of just 2 choices each course, this did not matter in the slightest. The quality of the food was to die for and we were made to feel very special from the moment we arrived until we left. The restaurant is special, at night it’s just beautiful and the atmosphere was lovely, service perfect. All in all I had a fabulous evening and would recommend to anyone wanting somewhere really special to go.

I went to this luxurious restaurant for my husbands birthday by booking a table. After reaching there only I came to know that I can see Palm Island beautifully. All the staffs behaved nicely to us. I ordered for food which includes Oysters and we could enjoy nicely . Apart from that I ordered for desserts and was very tasty. The display of food also was nice. At last we are surprised by the hotel, that was by giving us birthday cake to cut. We took lot of photos too.

I went here for a dinner on my honeymoon because I wanted to do something special for my wife. We had a great night, but I think its too pricey for what you get. For example is a glass of champagne 295 dirhams which I personally is too much to charge for a simple glass of champagne. The food is good, but not AWESOME as I would have expected for such a price. It was fun to try but I would never come back

Amazing and Super-priceyI had the privilege to make reservations for lunch here while visiting Dubai. I highly recommend this restaurant if you have the funds to spare. The service you will receive is beyond outstanding. The only downside is that it is very pricey. My bill came out to be 785 AED ($213 US) for sparkling water, three-course meal, and American coffee just for one person.

The new brunch is nice. Fewer seats available due to the new layout, but that is a good thing, far more of an exclusive feel. It is disappointing that there is no longer sushi on the brunch, but the quality of everything else makes up for it. Service is off the charts good as expected for Jumeirah.

St
Review №47

After a business conference during the week in Dubai, I enjoyed a wonderfully relaxing Friday brunch at the Al Muntaha on the 27th floor of the Burj Al Arab Jumeirah - the glass encased cylinder on the other side of the helipad! Food and service were five star and views were off the scale (see pictures). For two hours I enjoyed the views of the azure Arab Gulf, Dubai city scape, and Palm Island among the sounds of soft jazz. It’s actually like 50 floors up in the air since each floor of this “7-Star” hotel is a double floor.Friday brunch includes a pastry/bread/cheese bar, a Mediterranean bar, a cold seafood bar, and a unending dessert bar. That was just the appetizer. For my main courses, I had the portobello omelette followed by sirloin steak, but there were several other options offered. Everything I tasted was excellent. To the Southwest I could see Palm Island with all of its beaches, luxury hotels and villas, and the occasional yacht and jet skiers. To the Northeast, I could see the Dubai city skyline, including the 830 meter tall Burj Khalifa. Magnificent views of the Arab Gulf’s luxury playground. And, more luxury under construction on both sides, so the view will continue to change in the future. The only negatives were the high price for a meal (but the view made it well worth the experience at least once) and there were mostly tourists there. And whenever there are lots of tourists, you’ll sometimes come across a rude one, and there was one large noisy group from China that had the nerve to watch Chinese television on their cell phones with their speakers at full blast! Different cultural norms for sure. Nevertheless, that still did not ruin the overall experience for me.You do need to stay at Burj Al Arab hotel or call to make a reservation at the restaurant to enter the hotel. While I was there, I also walked around the lobby of the Burj Al Arab to see the elegantly decorated lobby, 300 meter ceilings, and high end luxury stores. If you can swing the price of brunch, I definitely recommend visiting at least once! If you are staying at the Burj Al Arab hotel, then you are probably not an avid reader of TripAdvisor anyway!

Read the reviews and follow your instinct. This is by far the most over rated restaurant in the world and we have been to a lot. We make a lot of money by $60 for a mediocre martini is way over rated. The food was fair and the view was nothing (looming at the dark ocean). Do not wastes your time. Btw. The entire restaurant reminds us of a cheap cruise ship at best. DO NOT GO HERE if you value your money. We will never be back!

Jo
Review №55

AED550 gets you the best Friday brunch in Dubai and probably one of the best in the world. Oysters, Caviar, Foie Gras, Smoked Salmon, Vintage Champagne. Its all there as well as hundreds of other dishes to choose from. And a magnificent view over all Dubai from the top of this 6 star hotel to go with it. A good way to get into this iconic building which is otherwise off limits unless youre staying there.

An
Review №56

Food was fine, services were good too, however, didnt get the 5 star feeling. For Comparison, youd get similar experience from Cruise dining, or any fine dining restaurant at major city (eg. Auberge du Pommier in Toronto). Yes, you might get the feeling of being at the palace with the high class society of Dubai. But you are also paying for the price. Its a bit too deep for some people. On the other hand, if you can afford it, and want to show people your wealth, then definitely worth 7 star.

Review №62

The restaurant is extremely overrated. The atmosphere is outdated, as someone mentioned remind a cruise ship of 90th...The food is good but way overpriced. The prices for main courses you see in the menu are 250 -360-420 dirhams per standard dish of pasta, lamb, fish etc. There are many good restaurants in Dubai by famous Michelin Chefs and you never pay this much for a single main course there and there is a big difference in food quality and presentation...Green salad is 170 dirhams... I enjoyed it but not worth the price. I also believe its the most expensive salad in Dubai I ever had (or in the world). They also included an extra item of 165 dirhams in our bill and immediately removed it with apologies when we have noticed that. (!!!)I was very desperate to go to that particular restaurant for the experience and because its a part of world famous Burn Al Arab but was extremely disappointed. The review is not to discourage people from going there but maybe more for the management to know that they need to introduce some changes to become the place they are claiming to be.So if you are like me desperate to go there driven by publicity ... GO... Foodies will be disappointed for sure! With the variety of quality places in Dubai we will definitely never go back there until they come up with the new concept. If you want to go there to celebrate something (and do Facebook check in or instagram)... GO... If you want to go there for a quality dinner . .DONT!

I wish i could give an no stars...I have spoken many times for a 14 pax brunch at Al Munataha. Initially i was updated by Roxainne, its available. Later she asked me to sent an email and when i sent, she replied after several times follwowing up that they have not started due to summer and she will update me once they start.I called after a week Ms. Patricca informed me that there will be price change and once it is done they will call me back. I am very disappoint from this customer service department. No calls and no emails came from them. Today i spoke to Manisha and she is very rude and how she can be apart of such 7 star hotel. She does not know how to deal clients. I would recommend you if you are looking for anything dont go for this option. Its just wasting of time. Thanks...

Weve been here a couple of times over the years. Dining here offers you the full experience of driving across the bridge and arriving at the Burj where youll be greeted by a dozen staff and dancing fountains in the lobby. After that you ascend escalators to even more space (with hideous interiors but its extravagant).By dining at the top you get to see a lot of the Burj - youre allowed through security to the lifts which you dont get with the High Tea. On the top floor you arrive to a bizarre futuristic/LED/circuit board tunnel (which I never understood) before entering the tube. This restaurant is in the tube hanging off the top of the tower (looks like a rolled up newspaper or taco some might say). Again, interiors are hideous. You come here for the experience and the VIEWS. Wow! Make sure you walk around and look in al directions. On a clear day you can easily see all of Downtown as well as the world islands and Marina/Palm etc. Youll see helicopters fly past at eye level.NOW, SADLY, this restaurant is sadly let down by the limited variety of food during brunch and the other patrons of recent years. The first visit was 5 years ago and the place felt smart and classy (even with only chinos and a shirt). The last few times, people have been stomping around in tshirts and smart shorts, pushing past you to get to food and shouting across the restaurant to their friends. I can only assume they are staying in the hotel as there is a strict dress code applied to all who cross security. It really brought down the experience for us - no longer is it 7 star luxury. If theres a dress code, it should be for the restaurant as a whole and everyone in it.I hope it has improved since last year and it is an amazing experience which I highly recommend. Drinks are not as pricey as you might expect for the location and hotel. There is live music - 3 piece jazz band from memory. This restaurant would benefit from a top interior design firms renovations into a much classier interior. They will, however, struggle with balance between night and day; the dark star lit expanse and the bright blue midday sea and cloud speckled sky. This restaurant is popular through day and night and only a few restaurants in Dubai have successful interiors to cater for this.Good luck Jumeirah, it is time for a change here.
