Grace, what a woman!! I went there with a strict deadline for my visa application and while she informed me of the normal expected turnaround time, she promised she would try her best and I received my document one whole day early! Even if she cannot speed up your process, she is absolutely wonderful, explains every little thing to you, doesnt get annoyed with your your questions and even asks you how your day is going - truly a fine example of an incredible customer service representative, 10 out of 10, thank you for being awesome !!!

Well-organized and modest security service ease guests visit to Korean consulate. Not crowded during my visit in December. Range of forms available on the long drawer at the entrance of the visa-section building equipped with toilet. Some magazine and journal written both in Korean and English available to read while waiting for your token number. Quiet neighborhood and accessible location to reach by metro or taxi even bus. Silence is maintained within premises.

Honestly speaking there are some points should be taken as a feedback :1- token should be distributed starting from a particular time, when I arrived at 7: 40 am I found out that 7 token were occupied before me though no body where there.2- only one person to process visa application and that is not efficient at all at least 2 staff should do it to handle this amount of applicants.3- waiting area is just enough ...I trust if more applicants are applying at the same time then couple of people would wait outside.I can tell during rush times especially in summer there would be a problem based on these facts.

As long as you have the complete documents and requirements, the process of getting the visa is quick. However, the problem is its usually fully booked and you wont be able to process it on the same day of your visit. Since theres no online appointment, you should go to the consulate along with your documents and book the slot by asking the guard for the soonest available date -the earlier the better since this would be the queue on the day of your next visit. It will only take 5 working days to process and youll get your visa right away.

I went there today and reach at 7:30am and they are not accepting anymore.already 35 people are registered and that’s their cut off.the first applicant came twice before having the chance to get the ticket.She came 5am imagine???Time is very important other’s had a long way to reach.you must indicate in your system that to get the chance to get the ticket applicant must come midmorning as early as 5am.you should be considerate the effort of taking leave just to send the requirements. the system you have is very poor,poor service and very dissapointing. I hope you can resolve this issue since you waste the time and effort of people.Worst consulate and very rude staff especially the security guard.

You have to come before 8 to get a chance to get a token and they open at 8:30, there are some things not mentioned on the website so they deny entry and you have to come again, it’s also harder to get a visa from South Korea than the UK or USA as I have both but South Korean visa regulations and rules are much more difficult for example you must have an original bank statement whereas Uk and USA accept an online statement. Lastly bring your old passport too Incase there’s no evidence of living for more than 2 years in Dubai in your current passport - the residence visa page, I’ve lived here for 10 years but go home and print it and come back at 6 am and line up ! They should seriously have an appointment system

The security was so effin rude, we arrived at 5am hoping to get a que number. So we parked our car close to the consulate, then this security told as to move our car to the other side of the road. But we parked in a public car parking, when we asked him why we need to move? Suddenly he said we have no chance to get a ticket the next available would be on the 26th, today is 16th. I was so happy and excited on our way, but he ruined our excitement.

High season for applicants ..Went to apply today but as early as 2am people were on queue already and 30 tokens given to those who came so early before 6am... i hope they have an appointment system wherein all applicants will have a confirmed time of appointment..otherwise all efforts are wasted..left my office work to apply . . imagine going all the way, and you have not accomplished anything.. ..i hope and pray they improve on this so we can visit Korea the easiest way on peak period...

Worst visa application ever! if you want to get a visa ticket #, you have to be there at 5am and wait till 9am to get a ticket. I went there today and the visa application was already closed at 7am but on their website, the visa application is at 9AM-11:20 am. Please do something about this!!! Add more staff so you can accommodate more applicants. NO STAR FOR THIS!

Very poor service and unreliable security guards. Poor customer service, those guards who don’t care and don’t value our time.This was my 2nd time trying my luck and to waste my time waking up early to be on the first lucky 30 applicants to be accepted in a day.On the 1st try, when I arrived at 750 AM theres a lot of people queuing at gate of korean embassy in jumeirah. Then, 1 security guard explained to all of us that no chance for today as they are taking only 30 applicants per day, this is clear but not acceptable (comparing to Japan embassy/consulate and comparing to Japan Visa application procedure way too far). There’s a lot of people waiting and hoping that they can extend the lucky 30 applicants, but no chance. I heard people coming from a different part of UAE like Abudhabi, Sharjah, Ajman etc... those people who shouldn’t wasted their time if you only have a booking system online. Those people who put an effort just to complete all the requirements and hoping to have a glimpse of your beautiful country. Then the security guard approached us again and gave us an instruction to come back tomorrow, earlier than 8AM to be on the list. And then, the next day I arrived at 645 AM, no queue but there are already 50 applicants on the list, this is very unacceptable you wasted my time again. And people start coming (those people I saw from yesterday) and enquiring if they can be on the list again and a security guard (different guard, not from yesterday) no chance for today, you can come back and list your name at 12 MN. Seriously??? As if we are begging, actually thats how it looks we are begging to be part of the “lucky 30”. Is this a talent show on a tv or an apple shop that you need to bring your tent and sleep over in front of the gate just to be on the list. Do we really need to be there at 12 MN, do these people really deserve to be treated this way? Nah, i don’t think so i’d better go back to Japan and spend the summer there with no queues, no hassle, no booking online but very organised and very accommodating.I just noticed that you already have a booking system, writing down the names of applicants in a used A4 size paper provided by your very helpful security guards. Just a suggestion, please improve it as we are now living in a digital world please implement an online booking system. As there’s a lot of people who wants to get a visa and visit your beautiful country having an an online booking system helps us saving the time.Lets not waste time, we don’t have a lot!

Its lunch time by 12-14.Stay away.In addition to simple tasks, please do not go directly to the paper work and talk first by phone.Its hard to get help if you just go.

I thought it was 9-12, and I left for 30 minutes, but the arrival time was a little late while I was wandering.I learned through entrance security that I should enter by 11:30.I arrived in 39 minutes and finally got in on the phone with the consul and thankfully I was able to do a simple task (passport pick-up).If youre Korean, you wont treat people from 3 countries.The work process is quick and friendly, but 2 stars for entrance security.I think you should enter by 11:30 !!!9-11: 30Lunch hour2-3: 30End of work

I wanted to give a five-star rating, but given that I cant make an online reservation, I need to take a trip and give 4 stars.The overall service attitude is very good, the speed of applying for a visa is also very fast, and I get a visa within 5 working days. The overall feeling is very good. Prepare for the next 5 years.

In short, everything is very bad here. You can still get a place in the off-season at around 7:30. Then dont leave it until you get a token number before you can get in the queue. I really hope that the embassy can improve the online application system, really too Low! !

The attitude of the security guards has never been worse. I am still not motivated. The Korean Embassy should really take care of this group of people. This is the kind of person who talks about the dog.The embassy is too slow, there is only one counter, the key is that some of the required information will not be updated on their official website, which brings a lot of trouble to the applicant.
