It makes me feel so bad that our Consulate , is not up to date with regards to1-Paying by cards.2-Having a full staff of Lebanese Nationality!3-To Renew a Passport you need to orderanother one!?!?!(I know from the Lebanese government but still makes us pay more and the passport takes up to TWO month.4- No One answers the phone.5- Online website should be moreuser friendly.6- All I can say they can be way better,more efficient and time saving specially in acountry like UAE.Wish All the Best to our beloved Lebanon and who represents it

This is utterly unacceptable and shameful! I’ve been trying to call the consulate for the past week to take an appointment. But no one is answering. I just called the embassy to complain and they told me: “ that’s normal they don’t usually pick up the phone. Please go to the consulate to take an appointment”. They need to me to take an appointment by going to the consulate?! Is this for real? This explains how Lebanon functions and why we are where we are today.

I’ve been trying to call for weeks to take an appointment, but no one ever answers my calls. I decided to go in person after checking the website and making sure that the consulate is open during the specified hours, but once I got there they were closed due to Covid. I always need to call the Abu Dhabi embassy to get my queries answered about the consulate in Dubai. Lebanese unprofessionalism seems to follow all their institutions no matter where you are in the world.

Never called and someone answered......no digital payment...you have to “imagine” and improvise the forms to fill because you cannot find them online in digital forms... consulate is good place for corona, where 100 people in our room waiting their turn ...

Unfortunately they only accept cash while they are in a country that relies mostly on credit cards specially under these situations, they dont even have change I had a 200 and they wanted 95 I had to go search for change outside. The copying machine needs coins even if they need a copy of a single paper they will not help and ask you go outside copy it.I do consider the situation of social distancing but that is not a reason to leave people crowded outside under the sun in a hot day in the entrance and on the street you should provide a waiting area (you have a hall not in use).

I have been reading the reviews below to verify that I am not the only one whos facing the same issue and its indeed a very common issue.I dont understand how is it possible for a Consulate not to answer their phone!This is bizarre and very unprofessional specially during the COVID situation. I dont have to go all the way to the consulate for few questions to clarify before I visit the consulate.I honestly dread renewing my passport.Its a shame that even outside of Lebanon the treatment is still as bad as inside the country.You should be much more helpful to your own people living abroad.

Just like with everything pertaining to government run entities in our sorry excuse of a country, the consulate in Dubai doesnt fail to fall short of all expectations. Let us start with their inability to answer phone calls. The first and foremost purpose of a consulate is to be a point of contact for lebanese in Dubai and they cant even answer a phone. gives you a good idea of what is to come.

The concept of social distancing is disturbing. We book an appointment 1 month in advance to show up on time and been asked to wait outside of the consulate for like 30 min in the sun in a 45 degrees temperature with women and children. That is totally unprofessional. The team were supportive.

Surprisingly efficient and organised. Went to do a POA, make sure to fill and print the form online before hand. Also make sure to bring your own POA and have it ready in Word format to send at the counter when they ask. Cost for specific POA is 95 AED, bring exact cash or closest to it. Also make sure to have a copy of your IDs otherwise youll need to bring coins for photocopies there.Arrived at the consulate, found parking around the back, walked over and came with an organised ticketing system as well as a sanitising spray before hand. About 5 counters and wasnt too long a wait with what seemed to be very nice and helpful staff. Nice one guys. (yes their phone doesnt answer) but you should be able to find some of the info you need from friends or google.

I was a bit apprehensive given the number of poor reviews, but I was pleasantly surprised with my experience. The consulate staff are very friendly, the place is clean and comfortable, the waiting time is short, and parking is plenty if you get there before 10 am. I was surprise that I receive my new passport after 2 months and 20 days , I consider the situation , but I was surprise when I check on the website that I need to call a private number , and to receive the passport from Amer office , when I call the number I feel the person he is not professional and also I pay again for Amer office . I have to admit, I expected the worse.I have been calling the landline number and using the email provided but no answer. however, I used the mobile number provided for in the news sectionon the homepage of the consulate (under a PDF file related to COVID-19 situation) and a lady picked up, was super nice, and very helpful.So, overall great response. The Level of service at the embassy is surprisingly good! the staff are very helpful and are really there to serve you. I called the embassy several times today but with no response. After reading the reviews I decided not to wait and head straight to the consulate. Expecting to have a fight on my hands as I read that people over there are rude, I was surprised to find the staff very friendly and accomodating and quick. Place was clean and organised. As for parking there was no issue at all as there is a paid parking near the mosque and around the consulate.

Mixed feelings. When youre there in person, the service depends on the window you get. Ive had interactions with selfless staff members who helped us out even when some of our documents were incomplete. At the same time, in the next window, another couple were facing the same issues but the person wasnt helping them. I find that the service has been acceptable at least, and amazing on some occasions.As for any attempt to get answers via phone or email, thats when things fall apart. Theres no proper answering machine or system to address phone calls. Unfortunately, the location of the consulate means that you cant simply drop by every time you have a question that isnt answered on the website.

Gets your work done. However, their methods are unprofessional and the processes are as old as the historic pictures on the website.The phone is there but never ever gets answered and the website has online applications that throw errors all the time and dont actually work.
