I understand we are in the middle of a pandemic but its soo inhumane to lock people outside your gate, with this scorching heat. You really should consider finding a waiting room for your visitors. Other consulates are doing a good job they have designated waiting areas.why cant our own do the same?????kindly check on this small kids are really suffering the heat is too much for them.Not everyone is driving majority come with taxis kindly consider that.

Consulate opens at 0830 but they start to accept citizens at 0900. Concerned staff check documents outside and if all is ok then you proceed inside. PCR result is a must… valid for 96hrs from when the test is taken. Consulate staff have always been helpful and this time i met Munir….very helpful and always cheerful! The immigration officer was in a meeting and we had to wait for hours….Munir was asking if we need water…several times…updating us several times! The officer came and immediately started my passport approval process. I forgot his hame….will update shortly…he was very courteous and fast. I left the embassy shortly…now waiting for my passport😊Got my passport today(23rd Aug). Had applied on 11th Aug.

The most useless embassy as an African I have seen today in U.A.E. how can you talk to your own fellow nationalities in harsh manner outside this crazy sun? Not allowed to enter through the gate and find some shelter to relax yourself, u will stand outside the gate for 20-30 minutes in the sun before that fools will come outside to ask you your mission. Barbaric attitude at its peak at Kenya embassy.

I didnt like the way we were told to stay outside the gate,with this scorching heat of Dubai,I understand there is a pandemic.The place is spacious, inside there is a ground where they can make a tent and keep plastic sits arranged at a distance. its realy shocking how you are treating the wananchi when in other consulates they treat their citizens with respect..Its a shame!

Imagine this heat and humidity outside now, u come all the way from Sharjah with your family and when u reach the Embassy, the door is closed and have to ring the bell and wait for 20 mins outside for someone to finally answer. The shocking part is they dont let u go inside after all that, u have to discuss everything & show your documents while standing outside the door, in the heat, sweating profusely even the staffs themselves are fed up of this. As a Kenyan citizen, this is a shame. Ive been to other consulates here in the UAE and they treat us like humans unlike our fellow Kenyans bure kabisa. After they finally take u inside, they do the necessary work and tell u to wait outside again. Yeh I get it we are in the middle of a pandemic, social distancing and all but come on atleast treat your people like humans with respect and stop throwing them outside the office like trash. Apart from a staff named Munir, who was very helpful and did his best to help us, my experience with our consulate was very bad and disappointing. Note We only come here once or twice a year when need arises, but that also to find ourselves being disrespected. Wake up Kenyan citizens, open your eyes, look at how UAE is treating their residents with respect, everything goes through a great system, we are in 2021 learn to respect other Kenyans. After all u dont know wat people are going through at these difficult times. The last thing they need is seeing themselves being disrespected. Wako wapi wakubwa wa Kenya, do something and make sure the Consulate is a place to help Kenyans and not throwing them away.

For the first time, I felt so happy that our consulate has improved.I had applied to renew my passport, on 8/06/21 & was asked by the officer in charge to come back after 3weeks. Just received a text informing me that my new passport is ready for pick up. Asanteni Sana, I wish this is how things worked back home bearing in mind how much a mwanainchi gets dissatisfied when government services/promises arent fulfilled on time. I was there a month ago, unfortunately I didnt read carefully the required documents, when I reached there,I was sent back to get the copies of the required docs.I went around nearby Satwa, printed out docs and came back with the required copies hence got served.As I was waiting inside sitting on the only bench available,a lady passed by, honestly I dont know her name,but she greeted me to my surprise .More to that I forgot to print out a copy of my kitbulisjo ID,and the coast guy helped me to print it out at the very place.Worst experience was only standing outside the hot climate, but when it comes to service delivery,my encounter was ok somehow.Please keep improving, arrogance tuache kabisa,ndo tujivunie Ku kuwa wakenya even outside our country.Few suggestions, please have a printer/scanner where people can print out copies by paying some amount so as to avoid sending people back.Thatvday I was from Abudhabi,and I had to struggle manourvering around city looking for a stdio to printy docs.

I dont really do reviews bt this one i had to. Three days ago i was here checking previous reviews and i must say they were dissapointing. However, there was 2 to 3 that were positive and i decided to give a try coz of them. Am glad i actually ignored the negative response and went there coz its never been easier than what i experienced. Despite some delays in the morning, the service was quick and perfect. 15mints i was done. Its unfortunate that i didnt get the name of the guy who helped me coz he was indeed busy and trying to serve everyone at his best, bt in general, i am happy with their service. One of my document had a problem bt he helped me, he didnt have to send me back.NOTE leave your attitude, ego and pride at the gate, just be humble even if you dnt want, its for your own good. Pick it later after youve left. FIY, i didnt bribe anyone, i didnt need to, there was no where we came in contact with money at the consulate, last thing. Just because someone had a bad experience doesnt mean you will too. We all are diffrent. Just go with a positive mind set

Poor service by very unprofessional people. I have been going there for the last three months just to have my marriage certificate attested but they keep on taking me rounds. I provided all the required documents I even paid but everytime they give an excuse. Worse part of it is my wife is pregnant she needs to submit her papers so she can get medical insurance for expectant mothers. We have been paying directly from our pocket money for clinical visits. The company is harassing us to provide for the same but our very own consulate is acting as if we are not Kenyans. I was there and other people came for the same service and they were served but for me or is it am not coming from the upcountry?? This is so pathetic. I will raise this issue with MFA

For Pakistani passport. Apply on line, pay visit visa fees, take printout of payment receipt and travel. Dont worry if visa doesnt come on email or website says application under process. Just take printout of payment receipt and travel. For safari , the best and most valuable tip that i can give is to take a local flight from Nairobi to Masai Mara as the distance from Nairobi to Masai Mara is very long & tiring and roads not good.

The consulate is in a quiet neighborhood and easily accessible. The staff is kind and offers proper guidance on any processes required. I loved his Swahili it reminds me of Mombasa! I loved my experience!

We appreciate having a Kenyan consulate in Dubai. It is good but still has room for improvement. if they work the Dubai way, it would be better. Please have your staff sometimes visit some of this Dubai offices and see how efficient they are. Am not happy seeing very many repetitive negative reviews and no one is even bothering to post if its rectified or in the process of rectifying. my experience there was ok except time keeping in your office is still a problem. I was there before 8am knowing your office operating hours is from 8:30 am but sad enough we were served from 10am. i understand there was a meeting but meetings in all offices i know do not lead to closing of a customer service office. instead a few attend the meeting and then few who are in customer service continue with operations. thanks

Very rude staff who do not care to answer questions or even make effort. We call the consulate to gain clarity so if we call and all the answers we get are I dont know, surely how are you helping us? And if I call the wrong extension you are supposed to guide me to the right person not hang up on me. Its called MANNERS!!!!

Everybody in this office is very swift, helpful and professional but the receptionist. She needs etiquette classes or rather just a little courtesy. Words like how can I help you? I beg your pardon do not exist in her dictionary. “Sema! Unataka nini?” Hahaha it’s hilarious and sad at the same time

I was there today for my huduma number I know it’s a last minute thing but am expectant and I woke up from my bed rest only to find this indian looking man who screamed at me consistently to queue at the back whereas I only needed little help because I had applied online and had my reference number.He was so rude and everyone was left wondering. That was embarrassing and humiliating We don’t expect such treatment from our consulate.

Extremely rude.As soon as the guy answered he didnt even say hi,he said can i call you back? When i asked if he had my number he said NO.So i had to give it to him.Still waiting for the call.Very rude human didnt even want to answer my questions, and got agitated when i asked him to speak louder. I just called to find out about the processing of the new passport and I spoke to this gentleman by the name Turi he said who just seems very rude and dismissive and its like my basic questions seemed like a bother yet how else are we supposed to find out about the process if we reside here? such a shame having to deal with such individuals in an consulate where you have no choice but to get information from them.

Just called the Consulate and the person who answered was not professional at all. He first told me to hold on to answer his mobile phone which rang just after he picked up my call. Then when i asked him for his name he hang up on me. What kind of people are these working at the Consulate? They are supposed to be assisting us Kenyans in the UAE.. Unbelievable.

Thanks for picking up calls and all efforts you make to answer many questions we have however, I was not satisfied with the tone to which my call is answered, you sound like you didnt want to answer back. refer to call made on 5/9/2017 around 11:15 am.Plzz share the good experiences u get here with differnt organisations and governmet organisations. something needs to be done.Represent Kenya well, We are in an international environmet , sound like we are proffesionals. Something needs to be done about the tone and how The phone is answered. Called today to ask for ramadhan timings and I got an answer as though the person has been forced to answer the call...very very rude .If you can not treat fellow kenyans and people visiting our beautiful country in a decent manner then you do not deserve working at the consulate.
