Very supportive and understanding officials. We were facing some issue with our visa process, and the officials tried to helped us in every way possible. Also, the quality of service is impeccable.Our visa process took 22-24 calendar days. We were nervous if we would receive the passports back on time for our trip. Our itinerary included first stop at London, England and then to Netherlands.The officials at Consulate assured us that in case our Schengen visa is not ready, we could withdraw and recall our passports 2 days prior to our travel, so that at least we can travel to London (for which we had already availed our tourist visas).

Visited in the last week of Feb-2017.Someone reported this place as not existing, in Google Maps. Thats totally wrong, the address and location is correct.Professional service and extremely friendly staff. 👍Make sure you have an appointment and be on time.All electronic devices and an ID need to be dropped at the reception. Even the telephonic support is extremely good. They do know their job.

Attentive and supportive satff. However outdated and cumbersome to traveller visa process.I would strongly request the consulate authorities to introduce a process (like other progressive countries) wherein passport is with applicant during application processing for business visa. Its fine if your screening and background check process takes 15 days, but atleast let the applicant have the passport in his/her posession in case of urget business travel or any emergencies.

The staff at the embassy are extremely helpful. But the only problem is that they have outsourced their visa facilities to VFS global.To submit the papers in order to apply for a visa the procedure is to get an appointment with VFS Global. I wish to travel in September and I feel thats ample time to apply for a visa. But VFS Global is not giving the appointment before the end of August. I wish to travel on the 11th of September and my appointment date is 26th August. They say it takes 15 days for the visa to be processed. Considering that I will receive my passport on the 10th of September. In case the visa is rejected my air and hotel bookings will be wasted. And per chance if the passport does not arrive on the 10th of September, what happens then??This is ridiculous. I feel that VFS should increase their staff during the heavy rush holiday season as the appointment is just to collect our forms. I have traveled to Europe many times before in the past years and there were times when we applied directly to the embassy even 3 days before our travel and the work was done. This definitely needs to be looked into.

Its pretty pathetic visa service. The first available VFS appointment was 6 weeks away , 4 weeks after submitting application and visa not out yet. No information what so ever . You are stuck in country because they keep your passport . Real circus makes one wonder if it was worth it in the first place. Surely Netherlands can do much better than that, but do they care ? I am doubtful.

Its a great consulate I dealt with many times. Procedures are clear and reliable. The bad reviews are for VFS which is an independant organisation which the consulate has no influence on.

I had a horrible experience, it took me 26 days to obtain a tourist visa and our passport was held in the embassy even during the EID holidays. Which stopped us from travelling anywhere. No update of the progress of application was provided to us. When enquired we faced rude answers from the consulate and VFS. When we received our passport our 10 year old daughters passport was missing. We were informed that we would get it only the following week.

I had a very bad experience from consulate of Netherlands, Dubai . I applied for Netherlands tourist visa through vfs global, Abudhabi. Even after 30 days of submitting the application, I didn’t get any feedback/visa.As per our program,we have arranged, hotel booking, travel insurance. Because of this delay and irresponsibility from the consulate,we have dropped our program and caused great economical loss.I am a regular traveler with my family to schengen countries and we never faced such a delay of 30 days and still no feedback. The whole travel plan is ruined and we expect a responsible justification for our bad experiences from the consulate.

It has been 1 month (submitted on 16th July 2018) since I submitted schengen tourist visa application to consulate of Netherlands via vfs global,Abu Dhabi.My scheduled day of travelling was on 8th of august 2018 and we expected to come back at 30th of august 2018.Until now I didnt get the visa which caused economical loss and ruined my whole travel plan. I could not arrange any other trip as the passports are with the consulate.I was informed at the time of submission by vfs that it will take maximum 14 working days.I expect a proper feedback or justification from the embassy for such a bad experience.Whoever reads this must share my experience so that one should think before applying a Netherlands visa. I never experienced such irresponsibility from any other schengen countries as Im a regular traveller.

Even after 27 days of application, (we applied on 16th of July2018) .We haven’t received our Netherlands tourist visa which made us to drop the trip with my family.It caused us financial loss. We couldn’t arrange any other trip as the passports are with the embassy.Such situation should not happen to anybody and we will never recommend Netherlands visa and kindly whoever reads this please share our experience.

Needed to go for my passport renewal and they are so organized and super friendly. All was good and efficient, so easy and always smiling.

Terrible experience. I ipplied for my visa on 16th of July and uptill now, no update . It’s been six weeks and I’m stocked in uae. Can’t go anywhere or use my passport for anything. I feel so horrible.

I have been to the Counslate numerously for my parents visa under EEA dependent rule and the experience has been fantastic. The staff are always co operative, helpful and go an extra mile to make you feel at ease especially their listening and feedback services are awesome and they arent like other Schengen Embassies where no one wants to know what is the problem. Above all Ms Mascha Senior Councilor officer is a star !!

Very bad experience with the Dutch embassy in Dubai called for assistance related to fathers medical interventionWould be called back but unfortunately never heard anything again it is outrageous how they deal with Dutch citizens !!Think they would rather get money from hardworking Dutch people at parties than to help someoneThought the embassy was there to help Dutch people with problemsHave called and would call back but think that employees have lost phone number still have to call really great how they work there !!!

It must be an Arabic translator, and it should be better and easier to deal with
