The gym could be improved by adding a new pool for men and women. They need to increase the area size of the free weights section as it is always crowded. Overall the gym is great and sanitized, Few things could be improved.

Located inside MCC mall which makes very convenient in terms of parking, restaurants, cafes, and shops. It has a good selection of equipment and I would appreciate the effort put in maintaining them given the number of people attending the gym.The facility includes an indoor swimming pool along with adjacent showers, changing rooms, and lockers.Bigger plus to the friendly and supporting staff (Based on my experience)The indoor pool is just enough for proper workout and training, kickboards and pull buoys are available but you need to bring your own fins, paddles, and training belts if you want to use some (it makes sense during the pandemic I guess..)

It’s a good gym with lots of cardio machines and dumbbells. The only downside I noticed is the fact that they have just one smith machine and one squat stand. And on top of everything today, when I went to the gym the smith machine is out of order. Basically they don’t have any smith machine.

Wonderful gym 💪almost all gym machines are available 🏋‍♂️ 🏃‍♂️. Recently they have upgraded and added new machines. In addition very nice swimming pool 🏊‍♂️ facility available here. Staff is very friendly.

Fitness first is good place , I joined with different mind about the gym thinking the gym its only for body building . Once I joined its totally different. I see big difference in my life , health wise, emotionally and psychologically. It has also has fun group exercise with lovely trainers and really it motivated me more and more and give me strength of working hard inorder to reach my goal

I had really bad experience with the service.I told her, my friend referred me this place, I want take a look the fitness environment, and decide which offer to go for. she just ignored my request, I had to answer her three times of questions“what do you want ”, the way she asked it’s really rude, it seems like I must pay it immediately to get any service.Whole visit, without out smile, without any introduce, just this is gym section, this is yoga room, this is swimming poor, this fitting room……During the visit, one lady interrupted she said she is not feel well she want little ice to drink, the sales lady just answer her“we don’t have ice to drink”,Until the lady said “how come, I order fresh juice everyday there is ice in my juice, how you don’t have”, then she said “I will check”.Until we left I didn’t see she do anything for her.Honestly I like this Fitness centre, it is very big and clean, even maintained very good social distance. The facility is modern and amazing, the space is huge enough to accommodate a lot of people. The staff and service can be improved. Overall it’s a good place and very conveniently located within the City Centre Mirdif.

I joined the gym before three days, first thing i saw that the gym is very crowded because of the offer that they provide but i joined because it’s the nearest gym to my home , now i asked for my access card two times and they said the printer not working then I received an email to download good vibes app but I couldn’t register i asked them why they said it’s also has issue and they are fixing it and it seems only for the new members that they got this offer! , I don’t understand how the app works for old members and not working for the new members or it’s because we joined with an offer so we are not eligible to use it ?!

Me and my sister joined the Fitness First gym a few days ago (250AED/month for MCC and Uptown branch) at the 23rd of May, and was told by the sales person that I can attend the gym during the last few days of May free of charge. We payed the admission fee of 59 AED and our membership officially starts at June.I used the gym’s facilities at the 23rd, 24th, and 25th. During these three days, we were surprised to see first-hand that that the gym does not follow the coronavirus precautions and guidelines set by the government.1. The gym was extremely crowded, to the extent that there was no space left to keep any safe distance between the members. That being said, there was no safe-distancing being implemented.2. The equipments were not sanitized after usage. The staff were not implementing the rule of cleaning your equipment after usage, and this resulted in extremely unsanitary equipments.3. The people, including the personal trainers (fitness first staff) were not wearing their masks even when they are not working out.After seeing that the gym does not follow the mandatory coronavirus precautions and guidelines, me and my sister did not feel comfortable using the Fitness-First Gym.We immediately informed the sales person we registered with about the issue and proceeded to explain to her that we could like to cancel due to these reasons. Her response was that the gym is indeed extremely crowded due to the festival city fitness first branch being closed, so the members from that branch were allowed to use the MCC branch as well. She explained that because i signed the 3/4- Month contract, I am unable to cancel regardless of the situation. I was also told that the manager will contact me regarding the situation yesterday, but no one did. I was told again that he will contact me today, but no one has contacted me yet. I have spoken to her again, and she promised that the manager will contact me on Sunday. In the mean time, I requested that the gym does not deduct the amount for the gym membership until I speak to the manager and resolve the issue, considering that I have just applied and my membership does not start until June, which I will not be attending. However, she informed me it is not in her hands.I am writing this email because this is unacceptable. I joined the gym because it promised that it follows the coronavirus guidelines and precautions as stated in its website. Since the gym did not deliver what it has promised, I have the right to terminate the contract. I hope someone contacts me soon, and this email is not left read and ignored. If this issue does not get resolved, I will have no choice but to take this issue to the authorities.

Scammers.I went to register for 3 months only and signed a cancellation form with an employee called justin, they kept charging my credit card for a year with a different name.A year later , the charge came on Fitnessfirst first for the first time. So when i went to the upper management to show them what happened. They told me they let justin go a while ago and they will not refund anything.

They Cheated me on EMS Training. I paid the training fees of AED 3500 and the person told me that he will give the receipt on the next day as the contract book is finished . When I went there next day he was not available and I called him he told that he is in consulate and will be back later . I went there after 2 days to hear that he went for vacation. And the centre manager was not aware of anything. They were not taking any responsibility and later told me that the person is terminated from service and I can file a police complaint. Not at all professional and anyone paying money please be extra careful

Great place to workout and join classes.

DONT JOIN!!! Alert !!Very over crowded, just to get more business they have given cheap memberships and ruined the quality of service. I have been a member for more than a year now and very disappointed.And the disappoint continues, all light weights misssing, the bar rack is broken, abs machine has been out of order for 6 months now, rubbish gym ever.

Great place for kids learning to swim. The pool is indoors and that is a big plus. Kudos to the trainer Dennis. He is caring and tough at the same time - need that from a trainer.

In generally a nice and clean club. Amazing swimming pool, very helpful and competent Personal Trainer. However, some of the processes might be not that clear to the employees which caused frustration and anger on my side.

1- Machines broke and always under maintenance which cause to damage your muscles ..2- Machines are 7 years old compare to other branch ..3- They have space but lack of machines dumbbells and benches compare to the number of members ..4- every year they promise to do changes and it’s coming in December .. I’ve been waiting for almost 4 years for that December changes ..5- they are very good by collecting money but never deliver the promises ..6- they don’t care if you are old old old member and they treat you like you just joined .List to go on with the issues and no one took action even the head office .. I was even told to workout in other branch if I don’t like it there ..

Fitness first is one of the best places to workout, atmosphere, people and equipments are amazing in addition to their trainers and management who are supportive and friendly.

Amazing place. Everything is available and better than other branches.

I subscribed for FITIN session, each session was 20 min. Lydia; a knowledge and professional trainer was personal trainer in mirdif city center fitness first branch, was my personal trainer. Good combination of exercises was practiced. I recommend this classes for.people who are starter ans not self motivated to go to gym and need push.

I was really disappointed by the ladies gym section, room so tiny and full AC was not working and very poor ventilation, smelly and disgusting, the showers were felthy and so dirty, there are no rubber matting in there or a place to dry up and change! The cleaner was all over my head removing the water and i really had no privacy, i even asked her to leave me alone she never listened, also failed to maintain social distancing considering the situation.

They have almost everything, including an indoor swimming pool. Very good gym.

The funny part is the trainers approach us regarding the face mask to wear it while not training and while training to lower it under the chin. But i see while they train their clients it’s fine for the client to not wear mask while exercising, if it’s gonna continue this way I have to complain to the authorities as for the management didn’t take any actions.

Instructor didnt show up for a booked class. No message or email to inform. I asked about 6 employees, nobody could help.Waited for around 30mins then gave up and left.Be careful with memberships, I signed up for 18months and have been unable to attend a single class after one month of trying everyday. They refuse to give you a refund or even apologise.

Very nice place for exercise

Probably the best gym. Best part about this gym is it has one very large open area unlike most gyms where you have so many small rooms. Very well lit and ventilated, ample of equipment, and clean shower areas and washrooms. The swimming pool is also quiet big for an indoor area. It has practically everything. A juice stall, vending machine, coffee area..

Customer service is a failure, even if you ask them to call the manager they are worse not welling to satisfy customer at all, changing room are dirty, ladies section is never been sensitized during my time, I don’t recommend this place

This is definitely one of the worst gyms I have ever been to. The area with the weights stinks and is perpetually overcrowded and hot. There is absolutely ZERO social distancing maintained in the weight training area.i am sure it is a teming ground for COVID. The cleaning staff and the front desk are rude.the trainers are absolutely hostile and unhelpful. It is very common for other members to hound machines and weights and there is literally noone around to complain to. I wish I could say 1 good thing about the gym. But sadly I can think of nothing.

Its one of the only FF gyms featuring a pool. Never tried it, but it seems a popular feature. The equipment here is well maintained, but the gym is busier than average. Try to avoid peak, afterwork timings for a usable gym experience. Last check, the smoothie bar was being renovated and never reopened.

Excellent size gym, good equipment and mostly clean, found 3 times small Cockroaches in the lockers room and in the gym area. Instructors or personal trainers some of them are not friendly.

Always hot even during winter the A/C always not able to handle the load, making the workout area hot and smelly , water leaks on the floor , many old damaged equipmentsUpdate ::After more than 3 months of complain the temperature in the workout area even more hotter , many promises from management without any real action .Sewage Water leaks from bathroom in the gents change rooms for more than 3 months.Value for money is very low with current situation , not recommended without real upgrade of the facility , almost same issue with temperature in all FF branches I have visited.

That is the best fitness first inside a mall. However their standards are dropping it is getting dirty and machines are getting old and still nothing is going on to change that. They grew too big and started getting too comfortable. The good thing about this gym is convenience they are spread around dubai and you would be able to access any of their branches if you got the right membership. You should also note that their prices are higher than the usual but they are not offering the value deals they seem to start charging on their brand name.

Wide selection of equipments. Very convenient to get to with the free parking facility at the mall. Operation hours are very convenient. Indoor pool is definitely an added bonus!

Its an OKAY gym, the only reason I joined is that it is close to home, otherwise I would have considered other options for sure.The Trainers are not helpful at all, during my 2 free sessions , they basically did nothing. it was supposed to be a two 1 hour sessions free when joining, but basically, the first sessions was they take your weight and height and take to you about your GOALS , which lasts like 15 minutes and then they try to sell you overpriced PT sessionsmy second session also lasted 20 minutes, which included basically 3 exercises, and then immediately a set down session trying to sell me overprices PT sessions...the gym is almost always crowed, the free weight is no enter zone as its over crowded most of the time.need better AC, better air purifiers/ ventilationthe Shower/ changing rooms need better AC and ventilation

One of the best gyms in uae. Amazingly friendly staff, spacious , lots of useful gym equipment, helpful classes, amazing pool, cant really say any negative comments about the gym ( some may say some gym equipment are old however they work so it doesn’t really matter at least to me ). Will definitely be a member for the foreseeable future.

Amazing place

I don’t recommend this center at all , four machines not working , trainers are using members machine personal use for long time around 45 minutes so if you have any workout on that area or same machine I think you need to change your workout as well they will leave the are like a mess you need to clean it or return the weights back , it took them 10 minutes to get a manager to solve my issue , and she can’t solve any case she keep saying my apologies sir as well no reference for your complaint . I’m currently opening a case with DED to see a solution to refund my money , my advice don’t waste your money or time on this centres , basically they don’t care . Thanks

They dont take care of machine so well.Expensive for the service and quality of machine not like before.Alot of stuff that will never help others if they are train wrong they should pay first but unless if youre girl and sexy so you dont need personal trainer they will help you for sure.So crowded specially after 6pm.My advice if you have offer and special price to access then go for it but if youre paying full amount trust me there is a lot of cheaper and better gym in dubai that really worth.
