The staff is not keen on serving customers . Always trying to avoid meeting the eye of the customer in case you ask them for assistance.Wanted to buy an item which was part of the new collection and not on offer but promptly told that other than the display piece they do not have any more in stock. Visit never again. And they wonder why people opt to shop online and avoid stores. Or check offline and buy online. Time to introspect.

Changing rooms are never sanitized between customers and often visibly dirty. Unacceptable during a pandemic.Some staff is also SUPER rude and avoid steaming items that are deeply wrinkled. The Filipino lady (ethnicity mentioned for identification, maybe called Vanessa? Apologies to Vanessa if it’s not her) dressed differently from the other staffers in a blue and white striped top (may be a manager?) flat out refused to speak to me, saying she has a customer and referring to people who walked up to her AFTER I had started speaking to her. I was passed between 3 staffers before someone finally took the item to steam. Totally unacceptable level of service.There was one time when there was a Japanese lady (again mentioned only for identification as I don’t have anyone’s name) who was super nice and happy to steam my item for me. The black ladies (again only for identification) at Quiz and the store to the right of it were also super helpful. Unfortunately it seems they were the exception. Service should be CONSISTENT.Not super happy spending here for these reasons. So disappointing to treat anyone, but particularly a paying customer, in this way.

It was the first time that staff acted so rude to me in this store! American Eagle brand, she suddenly came to me while Im checking items , she grabbed the shirt from me and scold at me WHAT U ARE DOING?!I mean seriously?! She treating customers like that? No wonder they dont have much customers cos of her rudeness. I didnt get her name, her hair is short and shes chubby . Hope the company will take immediate action regarding her rudeness acts!!!

Bad customer service in men section the lady doesnt know what items she has i asked for regular fit suit shes pushing me to buy slim at the end she admit that she doesnt have bigger size, I asked her to bring someone else to help me she refused and said shes in charge of the section, I also asked her if she can check if the size is available in a different branch and the answer immediately was all the sale items are in this store only.First and last visit

Customer service by lady in the fitting room was just horrible. Rude, not polite, angry. Acting like a boss there. She keeps speaking to us rudly on Arabic, however we are Europeans.Worse customer service I ever experienced in Dubai.

Previously when I visited the bedding department the ladies knew their stuff! This time I had to interrupt a conversation between 3 staff who were too busy to help me. Then the lady who was helping me asked what mattress size I needed the protector for. I said US queen size. She asked the dimensions. I said well, I don’t know the dinensions. She said I need to have the dimensions. Finally she decided to go through the trouble of looking it up. I prefer to shop someone the people know their trade and don’t treat me like they are doing me a favour - while the bedding is certainly not at bargain prices!

Really disappointing!!!Showroom needs renovation, ladies fitting room smells bad and paints are rusty, door is not closing with lock!!And a waste of time to go through fitting process to arrange ur 3 pieces for the offer and then on cashier they surprised me that they are mixing display of different offers together and cant give me my selection!! Although they are displaying them in same are with red labeled offers!!!

As with most clothing retailers in Dubai they purposely dont stock any clothing for taller guys. The racks are filled with short or regular fit but rarely any long. Fortunately, we have Amazon these days so I browse in the shop and then go online to buy..perversely, and just recently, I bought online in the Debenhams shop itself on my phone from Amazon. No wonder physical shop retailers are feeling the pinch given the rents they have to pay. Oh well..not my problem.

It is extremely disappointing my experience in Debenhams was devastating after my diamond bracelet slipped off my wrist is it certain that when I walked into the store my bracelet was on my wrist and after I left my bracelet was not on my wrist anymore which was thoroughly checked and confirmed by the security team of the Mall of Emirates, on the other hand the surveillance department of Debenhams from the Mall of Emirates are not willing too further cooperate and thoroughly check and investigate each footage to see at where and which point my bracelet slipped off. Even after giving them the exact time spam, this is really heartbreaking and unforgiving! I am left clueless and this makes me feel that definitely there is not sense of safety trust and security

Big British Department store with many brands to suit everyone. Their prices range from reasonable to expensive. They have occasional sale where you can find some good bargains; however, it can get very busy and disorganised during this time.

Went to buy a specific lipgloss...2 sales people chatting away next to me for 10min without offering any help is pretty bad for a big brand...but anyhow. Finally after 3 rounds I found someone and asked for a lip applicator...waiting and waiting she came back and said they dont have ?!?!? Most of the ground floor is make up and no disposable applicators ??? Seriously... well done.

I was treated as I am in a police office yesterday and I was called a “liar” in Debenhams yesterday during exchanging items equal to 2500 AED .I was never treated like this, it was so crazy, not organized and no collaborating among its departments.Shame on Debenhams to have such disrespectful employees and managers.
