The salespersons in these Faceshop stores might as well be selling candy or lollipops. Theyve no training or knowledge of the products theyre trying g to sell!!

I went there yesterday and was warmly greeted by the salesperson ( her name is Jonavilla if Im not mistaken). I never shopped there before I can firmly say that her product knowledge and recommendations sold me out. She is a great ambassador of the brand! Definitely check them out if you want to get some good recommendations!

Amazing product with a great price

I recently purchased some products first time ever from The Face Shop. Before buying, I clearly asked the Manager/Sales person if the brand is cruelty free (does the brand test on animals?). I was assured by the Manager that the products are not tested on animals. However, I was taken aback when I came back home and noticed that on Face Shop’s website, the brand claims that they are cruelty free, however they sell their products in China (the Chinese government conducts mandatory animal tests on all cosmetic products imported into the country)!!! The first thing that popped on google search when I wrote “the face shop cruelty free” was that it’s not cruelty free. This knocked the wind out of my sails and when I did some further digging I realised how brands are slapping the sticker of cruelty free by simply claiming that they don’t test the end (finished) products on animals. But what about the ingredients they source? Is it okay for a product to be partially cruelty free? Is it ethical for a brand to partially lie on their website???Anyway, the following day, in less than 24 hours, I went to return the products I purchased, but the same lady refused it saying that they could have taken the products back if I came back on the same day I purchased! She also said that she’s only following the orders of her Management which to me looks like a facade they are creating to boost up sales.So, The Face Shop, either stop lying to the world or stop testing your products on animals! Do what is RIGHT!We as customers have the power to return a product if we have been lied to. The least brands can do is take their blood-covered products back.P.S. Despite the products are good, the sales person also is nice and she assist us fron the beginning up to end. Good job
