Very busy. Beautiful store. Staff do not always know latest special. Difficult to get free samples of the brand you buying from.

I bought a Bleu de Chanel perfume as a gift there. Kept it at home for a couple of days and yesterday presented it. By the end of the day the perfume started to leak all over (the pack wasn’t opened). Today we went to Sephora to change it. But the manager and cashier kept saying it was our fault and that we had dropped it. The pack itself was completely untouched. Not even a single scratch or dent. That can’t be possible in case you make a damage to break the whole bottle.There was no effort from the staff side, they were just saying that they wouldn’t change the pack as it wasn’t their fault. And only after we asked the manager he made a copy of the receipt and told us that he would speak to the brand if they can help us.And they kept saying that the bottle was shaking inside and I should’ve noticed that when I was buying it. I’m sorry, who’s shaking the pack of perfume when you buy it? Especially when you buy it from the official reseller.You expect to be secure if there’s something wrong with the product itself. But now I see there’s nothing you can get but the empty promises to have a talk with the brand after being asked about it if something like this happens.Completely disappointed.Even more disappointed because it was a birthday present for another person and he had to be involved in all this.

Senhora In dubai mall can be a little hit and miss. It has the full range of stock for anythjng you could want (although would love to see a greater skincare range) but customer service is where it fails. I find that some (not all) will pick and chose who they service or give advice to. Even to the point where I found it offensively rude. But nevertheless It is nothing out of the norm....just a large sephora. So if you know what you want I would head there

Sephora is a makeup heaven for beauty enthusiasts. However, I mistakenly used a Brow pencil that wasnt a tester and the attendant was adamant that I pay for it. I mean I understand that theres covid and all but she could have easily used the one I opened as a tester. I had to pay for a product I didnt particularly like.Also sephora is more expensive than other online stores. So if you can find your products elsewhere, they most likely would be cheaper.

Its got a lot of makeup brands and perfumes (the latter being soo expensive, youre better off trying duty free instead). Sephora in Dubai Mall is def the best one in dubai. Most of the staff are helpful, some can be a bit off-putting. Unfortunately the lady at the counter gave me the wrong shade of lipstick when I had asked for a different one. Im now stuck with a lipstick shade too light for me since sephora UAE doesnt accept returns or exchanges sigh

I want to mention about the nice experience I had with the representative of Kilian perfumes, Moaz, from Dubai mall store. His passion and enthusiasm of explaining the story behind each perfume made me curious on doing researches on the Kilian history and definitely to want to buy the perfume. I will give 5 stars for the Customer Experience and hope Sephora to have more employee like him.

They didnt have a representative for cover fx company and none of the reps knew about the products and couldnt help. I kept wanting water based make up and none of the reps were knowledgeable about it. They dont let you try make up bc of covid.

People used to be afraid of entering sephora because of the judginess of the staff, but that has changed dramatically in the last couple of years. The staff now are welcoming, willing to exchange beauty expertise, and they really know what theyre talking about. Somehow, I always spend more than I meant to- how can I not, when they have literally every high end beauty brand I could possibly want?! The addition of K-Beauty is also a massive plus, and the free gift wrapping station makes me feel like Im buying a present for myself. So so happy going into this store with 0 make up and being treated the same as someone else with a gorgeous beat face. Definitely recommend!

Good shop and products, but very annoying staff, will ask not to disturb one consultant , but another will come within second, want to run from such a shop, cause they won’t leave you in peace to select what you want on your own, and will be always behind you. Moreover they are talking and laughing in faces of customers, very unprofessional.

The store can get extremely crowded due to its location, which can make it difficult to browse. You end up having to manoeuvre around people. Having said that, it was fully stocked and I eventually managed to find the things that I was looking for.

Incredibly passive aggressive and rude workers. They’re weirdly cliquey and condescending as if their entire job isn’t customer service. Will be buying my makeup from another store from now on.

A friend of mine had entered to get himself a perfume from Valentino. He had a terrible experience himself in trying to get the right product. But, the worst part was, all promoters just came to us like it would in any fish market trying to sell their brand perfumes and just fill our basket. Also, I was informed that a hair mist price was 100 dhs hence I agreed to buy as I already had sooooo many at home and it wasn’t a priority on my shopping list, but at the cashier it turns out that it was 175 or 195 instead of 100. I loved the fragrance but the only reason I returned it was because it was a lie to me while selling it. Also, I had got a Dolce and Gabbana perfume, I had specifically requested for a smaller size but guess what? They gave me the bigger one. I made the payment as it was past 10pm and everyone was in a rush to go home, realized only after I came home. Returned it the next day! Honestly, if the promoters were a little more attentive, this sale wouldn’t have been returned.On another note, I had a lovely lady in long pony (red hair) who gave her perfect assistance to my hair straightener requirements. She was lovely, thin, not too tall and a red pony! I feel horrible for not remembering her name.

I was offered to try a perfume from valentino while i was passing by a kiosk . I liked the smell so i went back after a few days and wanted to buy the same perfume.The lady at the Kiosk outside the store was amazing . Once I came into the store it was like bazaar and I was bombarded with various perfumes that I should buy (I am not exaggerating i was sprayed a dozen perfumes and there was not swabs or coffee to smell due to covid - so after the first 2 3 perfumes i didnt event know what i was smelling). I only wanted to buy valentino . My regular choice in perfume is One million - paco rabani . I got a bottle of that as well , without their help. They insisted that i shouldnt get that and should get a perfume that smelled similar to one million from valnetino. To the extent they took one million out of my bag and replaced it with valentino. ( Now i had two valentinos)I wanted the one million, Im an introvert so being in the center of multiple sales people isnt the most pleasant experience.My friend was with me . they insisted that she should buy as well . they showed her some product and gave her a price point of 100 dhs . When she wanted to pay me for the spray it was 175 dhs not 100 as they had said to hook her .The cherry on top is that i didnt get the valentino perfume i wanted i was given the one that he thought would be better than paco rabbani .I find once i opened IT WASNT THE PERFUME I WANTED .EXTREMELY BAD SERVICEI cant return it as well as i have already opened it .

Its impossible to get a Sephora staff members attention as they stand around socializing with each other and the security does nothing to stop people from breaking social distancing protocol in checkout lines. People are literally standing less than a foot apart in lines while security just watches. With rising cases in the country, its frightening how this store abandons all rules.

Encountered with one of annoying and rude staff when I asked her about a product which Im planning to buy when me myself asked her politely. The Sephora in Dubai Mall had a great collection and had exactly what I needed. The staff were helpful and I didn’t have any rude encounters. The only negative I would mention is that you can’t have a look around with a member of staff coming in your face every couple of seconds to sell you something and being really pushy. Initially, you just want to go in and look around and see what’s in store and then get some help from one member of staff at a time. Other than that it was an enjoyable experience.

The worst email customer service I have ever experienced. I received an email from Sephora that if I downloaded their application I would receive free shipping and a goody bag full of samples. Upon checking out, the cart had nothing added and was on the final page of asking for payment. I emailed Sephora and they made excuses for this including oh the product had finished and oh we’re sorry there seems to be a fault and we will make it right for you. THREE weeks passed and after numerous emails to them they called me three weeks later to say we will offer you free shipping! Are you kidding me? That does not make up for the products I was interested and SUPPOSED to get had they really meant out to give what they advertised in the email. This is misleading and not acceptable! To top it off, it takes three weeks and countless emails from my side to come up with this joke of a customer service? They really don’t deserve my business, I’m taking it elsewhere!

The stocks of cosmetics are not frequently updated. You need to ask for it and then they will dig out and find for you.

This is my happy place I can spend hours and hours exploring and buying inside this fabulous store.The staff at Dubai Mall is extremely helpful and attentive and efficient keeping in mind that Dubai Mall branch of Sephora is extremely crowded but they manage it efficiently.Its a place that makes beauty available to everyone I love the 15 minute makeup service they provide.I am sure other beauty junkies would agree with me.
