Banning Skype:This has become extremely tough situation in UAE, my second home and favorite country. Fast growing country in the world in terms of technology, creativity and innovations, yet banned Skype for the common man.A country with millions of expats : majority of mass staying away from family and friend who are in home country. The best thing was possibility to stay connected and know things happening at home when you connect Skype through high speed WiFi (that goes a standing ovation to DU and Etisalat for providing high speed Internet where ever you go in Emirates). This is a kind request from millions of expects and billions of their friends and families whole over the universe. We kindly request a better solution for this ensuring the security of our dear nation UAE and bringing back Sype. This is country where every expat : irrespective of where they come from, what they do, where they work : Always prays to bless this nation and its leaders : UAE is always close to heart.Let happiness spread this country and let the vision of father of UAE Sheikh Zayed and great leader His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum make this country the best place to live in the world. #yearofzayed #yearofhappiness #dubaibestplacetolive #expo2020

Does the Government of Dubai Care About Property Buyers?Unless you are living somewhere in dunes of Arabia, everyone knows the bill for the overbuilding will be due soon. For a change, you should start addressing about plight of property buyers in Dubai who are stuck with unfinished projects close to 10 years after the Dubai Real Estate Bubble 1.0. There are several projects where buyers have not taken delivery of their units in excess of 10 years. Take a project like Kensington Royale or Red Residence in Dubai Sports City with a project release date of 2006. Kensignton Royale is a skeletion building just like the stadium right next to it while MBR city is being marketed right across the highway from Sports City on Emirates Road to new buyers. Red Residence Delivery date has been postponed for every reason under the sun. Ridiculous is the story. You have all this laws, decrees, etc but they are just for a show. There is no follow through or enforcement unless of course you pay 30,000 Dirhams to file a case against a developer in the courts. That is by far the most unfair commercial law in an emirate that it considers itself to be a first class emirate. You can put lipstick in a dirty mouth and make it look good. At some point, the lipstick will be too expensive until you clean up what is under it. That is just the same scenario with current Dubai Real Estate situation. We are homeowners stuck with a lousy developer like Middle East Development and there is nothing we can do about it except wait for a probable Dubai Real Estate crush 2.0.If you are a genuine about the decrees you pass, not just publishing reports that are irrelevant about property markets, why not address serious issues with developers like Middle East Development In Dubai Sports City. Please expect unwanted negative publicity in every major world news outlet about Dubai Real Estate Problems. unless you start addressing our problems
