I was baffled (in a super good way) with the variety of vegan and plant based items they have. I tried the raspberry cake and the peanut butter one! Amazingly so flavorful and guilt-free. The almond milk latte is absolutely the best in UAE: Lightly sweetened with dates and the milk is so smooth! Most importantly, the milk does not separate from the coffee! I would definitely give this place another visit soon and recommend it to all vegan and non-vegan friends. Love the concept behind this cafe. They make their own almond milk and reuse the almond pulp to make their delicious healthy, gluten and refine sugar free treats. They serve all day breakfast including acai bowls, epic sized pancakes and eggs. I fell in love in their snickers slice and I’ll be back again to try their vegan ice cream. Oh did I mention they also have a book exchange?

What a wonderful find! This cute little place is just amazing. Staff are super friendly, welcoming you the moment you cross the door and very knowledgeable about everything they serve. Coffees are awesome and the cakes… just go and try it yourself, an absolute must if you’re around the area!

Regardless of whether it is bread, sauces, whipped cream etc. Nothing is packaged or store bought which distinguishes Spill the Bean from other coffee shops.A family owned business that has strived over the years and managed to remain on it’s feet especially during the tough pandemic crisis, with special consideration to the support extended by the community of sustainable city.They consider themselves to be ‘supported by the community, and gladly serve the community’.Being a closed knit community, you will notice students who living nearby working at the coffee shop. First, what I like so many options for sugarfree and vegan...coffee was also great....nearby surrounding is so nice for having small walk n good chitchat with ur friends...inside is bit small though...but overall a place to go again but outside sitting with new weather would be difficult....

I have never been a coffee person, always into hot chocolate. These guys have, hands down, the best hot chocolate in town (and I have tried many)the right amount of real dark chocolate blended with not too much milk. Once you try theirs, you will never drink HC anywhere else.Try it with Mhallabiyeh and you won’t regret it.

A really good selection of healthy food as well as options for gluten free, vegetarian and vegan. Coffee is top notch as well. If you’ve got kids, this is worth the trip as there are some donkeys, goats and ducks (as well as swings and slide) a 5 minute walk away in Sustainable City park. Prices are fair for the quality of the product. Seating available inside and outside.

Visted this place for light lunch , great selection of salads , sandwiches and coffee. Tried the roasted pumpkin salad and the Avocado chicken sandwich . Overall the food tasted great would come back again.

Wonderful lunch. Lovely healthy food, super fresh detox juice and brownie desert was the best! If you like to enjoy an afternoon outside with kids freely roaming around this is the place!

This is a lovely little coffee cafe in Sustainable City, but Starbucks or Costa it is not. The coffee is lovely and made well, the staff are great too and there are lots of little delicacies to enjoy too (all gluten, dairy and sugar free from what I could see - though this may have just been the items I was looking at).I really liked the fact that this place has done away with all paper cups and disposable items like straws etc. So if you want your coffee to take away - you will have to bring your own flask. Well done for doing your bit to reduce waste! Other stores should take note.

We always come for coffee and today we tried burger and air-fried french fries. It was amazing!!! French fries taste better than oil fried and cheeseburger was one of the best I tried in Dubai. Highly recommended and will be back soon to try more items from the menu.

Unfortunately disappointed.27minutes later... no one has introduced themselves or even asked if we would like a coffee....Eventually walked out.Its my first time to this establishment and cupping event, you want my custom and for me to spend my money then I’m afraid you have to put some effort into that.Felt invisible.Appeared unorganised, and unable to handle a weekend rush. This certainly affected the ambience.If you want a coffee here, go when you are the only person in there.

Way too hot inside. Strange smell of stuffiness due to heat. Way way too much pesto on both our plates! Waiter said runny yolk well done white but I got overcooked eggs! Service was ok but one person did not speak english and had terrible bo odour, though trying to be nice. Great coffee and smoothie. Quite disappointing overall.

Spill the beans is a charming and comfortable or cosy coffee shop meets cafe in sustainable city. The decor is very heavy with woods and leans towards a home kitchen feel throughout. It is not a large cafe by any means. But there is ample seating whether you come as a couple or whether there is a group of you who want to sit on a bench like dining table.The food is casual. We came here for breakfast and there is a substantial breakfast menu with the usual suspects like French toast, eggs in different ways, açai bowls and of course coffee, and fresh juices.This review is based on dining in the restaurant for breakfast on the weekend. I ordered the wholemeal coconut French toast and my wife ordered the sesame poached eggs on avocado and toast.The eggs avocado and toast were exactly as you would expect. Two poached eggs on smashed avocado with toast. The portion is a decent size portion for one person and enough that you can easily have a coffee and juice walking away quite full. They do cook the eggs runny soft or more well done and they did cook it precisely to what we asked for. All in all this is a good dish and perfect for someone who enjoys the now ubiquitous poached eggs with avocado on toast.The wholemeal coconut, almond French toast was a very interesting dish. You feel like you’re eating something very healthy. I really enjoyed the toasted coconut taste throughout, the toasted almonds bring a much-needed texture and crunch to the dish and the jewels of dried apricots bring a little sharpness and sweetness as well. All of this is very nicely balanced and rounded by both the use of coconut oil which is subtle but helps amplify the coconut flavour as well as some additional honey which brings another element of deep sweetness. My one feedback about the dish is that they use what appears to be commercial wholemeal bread. The only issue with that is that normal sliced bread is sliced quite thin and for French toast you are typically want something sliced thicker almost to a cake size portion something that is probably 1 to 2 inches deep. The reason you want that is because the bread soaks up more of the flavour that frankly you’ve ordered if it’s that you like coconut and coconut oil. My recommendation to the restaurant is either by on sliced bread and cut it to a better fitness or make it yourself. That way this dish which is good could become great.The date cold brew was very interesting But the dates blended so not being the sweetness you’d expect. They may want to use date syrup for that.All in all a solid place and a great breakfast option for the residents in Sustainable City.#coffee #breakfast #toast #eggs #avocado #coldbrew

The food quality went down since our last visit, we came back today expecting to have the same amazing taste we had before but it was huge disappointment not to mention taste of onions on the banana slices indicating the same knife was used to slice banana after chopping onions!!

I would have enjoyed the vegan chocolate truffles more had they been less bitter. The latte was okay.

First (and still best) 3rd wave coffee shop in dubai. Must try dates & cinnamon pancake or sesame poached eggs for breakfast. The raw & vegan raspberry tarte or the gluten free almond banana cake for dessert (or any cake on display 😁), and the date cold brew or the pour over (black) coffee.

Being a self proclaimed coffee connoisseur, I have become a regular to spill the bean since their sunset mall days, what I like more about this branch is their home pressed almond milk, it is sooo much different then the commercial grade almond milk I was used to. Keep it up guys
