I rented a car at the Hertz Al-Futtaim agency at the airport in July 2021.The car was well equipped and like new but above all, the team was very welcoming and very well advised me, including for the return journey which was done very quickly.After the return of the car, no bad surprise (as it can be the case with some small renters in Dubai which are not serious especially on the deposits that they tend not to refund) here you have the seriousness of the Al-Futtaim group.Good job

One of the cheapest rental company in the airport. Full insurance recommended. Unfortunately is the last from the exit of the arrival but it is in the parking right in front of the airport. Return service very fast.

Great service in all honesty. I must add that the car I booked wasnt available, so as expected, they offered me an upgrade to a Lexus. But because I was determined to hire a hybrid car, they heard me out and arranged for a hybrid upgrade. Friendly mannered staff and very thoughtful problem solvers. I also decided to extend my trip to Dubai, so when I called them for an extension, they happily obliged and I got to keep the upgraded car at the price of my first choice. It should be noted that I made the request a few days in advance. The drop off was quick and seamless. So you dont have to worry about being late for check-in like I did. :)

Hertz is a good company. never had any issues but this location is full of scammers who is after your money, please be warned and rather stick to taxi’s for your visit.I have been charged over 600-700 USD for unknown/unexplained reason.

Hertz is very good and economical car rental service in Dubai. Especially their counter in Dubai International Airport Terminal 3 is very convenient to locate and staff at this counter is very helpful. They really provide peace of mind rather than just renting a car. They have Wide range of cars with latest models available in UAE. Which thing I like the most for Hertz is, there is no hidden extras to pay, and also theft and damage cover already included. Now hiring a car at Dubai International Airport is very easy, with a branch of Hertz Car Rental. They are located at arrivals in Terminal 1 and Terminal 3 and good thing is they are open 24 hours Monday and Sunday. For renting a car in UAE, you must be at least 21 years’ old, and 25 years old in some special cases. You must also have been in possession of a full and valid driving license for at least one year validity remaining. Important point is that visitors to the UAE are only allowed to drive hire or rent vehicles with the appropriate insurance and a full driving license. These are all details which I think will be helpful for rent a car at Dubai International Airport.

I have had an issue with my rental ever since I picked it up from the airport on the 11th of April and logged the replacement request that night itself and have called twice since then to follow up. The customer support keep telling me that someone will get back to me however no one has as yet!The only reason I took the car was due to being on a 20+ hour trip and I was very tired, if i have known I wouldnt have taken it and refused it on the spot.I am so surprised as Hertz is meant to be one of the best companies however in my experience  so far (and i have been on rentals in the UAE for over a year,) Hertz are the absolute worst provider I have ever rented from so far.Apart from the service, the car is very very old and all the seats have stains on them! This is completely unacceptable and not sure how to resolve this or get a replacement. I will definitely never rent from Hertz again unless someone resolves my issue asap.

This is another bad experience. Dont put yourself in risk of renting a car with them... especially if its very new one, they will look at every way to charge you...

Decent car but upon return theres no obvious place to return the car and when explaining that issue to the staff they blamed me. Dont rent here if you want to have reasonable conversations with people.

Ive been renting a car from hertz for almost 3 months and as much as I can tell the company values money over loyalty.The cars are great, the prices are fair & the process of renting is easy. u2028Five starts for that.BUT in my case they kept the deposit of 1300AED 2 out of 3 times without an separate invoice or any further notice.If you are leaving UAE the money is gone cause the only way to get it back is to try to call them and solve the issue or drive by at the location.u2028u2028So will I rent with them again ?u2028Yes and no, short-term no! Long-term yes.If you are willing to lose your deposit of 1300AED without even damaging the car or something else go for, if you really hope to get fully refunded please don’t…..Keep in mind Hertz as a company has to make money and the easiest way to do so is to keep the deposits of tourist which never even will reach out to them again.See you in two weeks Hertzu2028u2028inshallah the next rent is gonna be stress free.Cheers

We arrived about 1am after our flight from London. I had already booked a rental with Sixt at about £240 for 5 days rental (with full insurance). The line at Sixt was massive and as I hadn’t paid already, I cancelled and walked over to Hertz. They gave me a much better car that only had 5,000km with the full insurance for £150! Also worth noting that they allowed me to use my girlfriends credit card for the security deposit (£250) and my debit card to pay for the actual rental charges. Fantastic service. I have rented with many different companies in different parts of the world and the experience here with Hertz was great. I would definitely recommend to anyone!

Be aware, most of their cars are full of scratches and theyll ripp you off by finding a new scratche in the back bumper claiming that you made an accident to delay you in your flight and accept a deduction of your credit card deposit.Please see the picture of my rental.Im filling a claim to Dubai Consumer Protection.

Didnt return security deposit

Rented a car from here through their website back home while picking up the car they told me i had to give them a deposit of 5500.00 DH and they said it was normal procedure in Dubai .... it is not 1500.00 maximum anywhere else. then they said they would release the amount 21 days after you return the car and that was also normal also not normal and while returning the car employee did not give me any kind of conformation that everything was proper on the car or timing of when I returned it to find out later that i was fined for something 10 before i returned the car according to their records when i went to confront them about it and to get proof of fine because they just send you a bill from their company saying they were going to ding it out of your deposit i would have been better off to speak to a brick wall then talk to the lady at the counter no customer service experience at all in handling customer issues like a tape recorder just repeating the same BS over and over very unprofessional staff and just tarnishing HERTZ name.

Do not get cheated about their Rent for two months and get the third month free offer.Normal monthly rate for a Corolla: AED 1592.Normal rate for 3 months: AED 4776Monthly rate for Rent for two months and get the third month free offer: AED 2388. So again for 2+1 months you have to pay AED 4776.Didnt expect this kind of service from a big brand like Hertz!!!

One of the best car rental companies, they have good card, new or two year old, they are responsive, there procedures are fast in delivery and rececing the cars, good prices, flexible, I some times rend the car from Abu Dhabi and deliver it in Dubai without extra charges and professional personnel, it is my favourite and my first choice for renting cars in UAE, I am dealing with them since 2016. Highly recommend.

No problem, clean car (actually brand new one), they offered a return at different location for free to save some time... Dont expect speedy procedures like in US, but its survivable and definitely faster than at terminal 2...

Very appreciate to all outstanding guys from Hertz front desk, to all who serve us during car pick-up and drop-off. Indeed great service! We were proposed to chose between few completely brand new cars. And got Honda City with 28! km on odometer. All the process taken not more than 10 minutes, and maximum 2 minutes as for car drop-off. For 5 days we paid near 200 US dollars, and 1300 dirham was deposited on credit card. Within 10 days my deposit already returned. But probably near 100 usd withdrawn and excluded by Hertz as road fee, because too many times I crossed Sheikh Zayed Road and also traveled to different emirates. But i was told about those fees in advance. Also it could be that Ive got some traffic fines, because first two days for me was difficult to be comfortable in Dubai and AbuDhabi road traffic.So, in conclusion, my local friends initially recommended for me Hertz as most reliable and honest local car provider. And now I can confirm the same from my own experience.Thank you Guys!

Tried to book online so I could save around $200 USD. I tried multiple times but kept getting an error on how there was issue with my card. So I selected the Pay at Location option. I entered the same card information as I had for online booking and it went through with no problem.

When booking they dont tell you the rental office is in the underground of the car park. So after a long flight you got to travel with all your luggage in the blazing heat of the underground car park on the other side of the airport! Same when returning car.

Hertz was my favorite car rental, but now I am devastated with their services. I made a reservation of a group X car for 3 months lease. When I came to collect it, they informed me that the car is not available. They offered me a Toyota Corolla instead, which is a Group C, less money value and they promised that they would change it within 1 or 2 days maximum.So far, nothing has happened, and no one called, and every time I call them, they tell me that they will inform the one in charge. Instead of offering me an upgrade, they offered me a downgrade without deducting money. It is disappointing how they are treating me, not to mention that I am a Gold member. Certainly, this will be my last contract with them.

It was my worst experience with Hertz! and I will never use them!I dont know how a business can do business without answering their phone or address their customers pain!I arrived at the Terminal 3, I booked a ca with them. I tried to call them from the terminal 3 to inform them there will be some delays, they dont answer any phone call.I arrived at their office and I asked them why you dont answer your phone, they said Did you call us?I called again their number in front of the and I was surprised when I saw a red light flashing on their handset but no sound!.4 staff were there and doing almost nothing.I asked for Nissan X-Trail as they published! but they gave me Renault Koleos.I called again after few days to add additional driver but still they dont pick up the phone, then I called their help desk and talked to their sales coordinator named Nazar or Nizar who promised he will not charge an additional driver, I received after few days an invoice from them charging me!.HERTZ:Why dont you keep what you promised?Why dont you answer your customers call?Why dont you address your customers pain?Simply, how can you practice your business without following up with your client?Is it the latest trend in doing business? For all those that are wondering why HERTZ bills on the Credit card after the rental --> if you use Sheik Zayed Rd. you have to pay toll - 5 AED per toll bridge and if I remember correctly there are at least 6 or 7 between airport until Palm JumeiraALL MENTIONED IN THEIR RENTAL DOCUMENTATION - and was explained to me on arrival. Read and listen sometimes helps!!Very nice experience for a short rentalHad a car for just a couple of days. from stepping into their office at T3 until I got the car it took less then 30 mins (which includes a 10 min walk to the parking - mostly air conditioned!!!)Was greeted with a smile and got the paperwork done in minutes.Pick up of car was flawless, filled the pre-damage report with the rep and left in no-time.HERTZ will see me again!!! Horrible experience after an overnight flight.Their policy seems to be do nothing until the customer is there, then make them wait while we bring the car over, fill out a ton of forms, and re-enter all the data in the computer.On top of that, as if they were reluctant to let me leave, I had to fill out a form with all my information that they already have on their system. This is for a #1 Gold member. Reservation made days ago.

Very easy and efficient. Rented a 7 seater Chevrolet Tahoe. Car was immaculate and virtually brand new. Couldnt fault it.

Ok.but to reach it was quite difficult.but the hertz people they are not up to the mark as i make payment by my credit card.so they deducted money from my credit card but they didnt send me the invoice for the payment.i requested them by email with all references evem though they were least bother to respond.on business visit in such case difficult to claim thats the reason they r not at all good in communication.but the airport support is good as there is a shuttle service from opposite of rental car offices and one can reach departure terminals and support staff will help to load luggage too.in terms of communicatiom hertz deserve only one star for bad response.thanks

Never rent from there. They charged my card 5 times for a total of $2,000.00 for a $200 rental at different times, almost a month after I returned with 0 balance.

UAE doesn’t have a direct presence of Hertz that, is managed by Al Futtaim.They offered a good service, one of the best i globally found from the Hertz affiliates.This location is fast and efficient even if, the choice of car is limited to the one imported by Al Futtaim group.Due to the road structure in UAE you will get an higher preauthorization on your credit card in order to cover the motorway and bridges fees, called Salik.

I hired a jeep from this place ....it was north time .paper work is slow but well worth it .Price was very cheap .Make sure you take a look at the vehicle your going to hire out , check for marks and dints.I asked them to move my car into better light ,and found marks on the bumper .He had told me the car was Mark free...when I pointed out Marks, he took note .

Not sure why it has to take so long to receive the keys to your rental car. This is 2018, find a more efficient way.

Go slow and be prepared to make a sudden turn when going into Hertz to return your rental. Signs are not good at all and not all turns are marked.

I was happy last year, but the service changed. 40°C during car take over, and intensive paperwork for regular clients keep business away.
