As with any car rental office at airport, what makes the difference is the customer service and meeting clients expectations. Mohamed Khaled doesnt disappoint in this regard and definitely gained a repeat customer. Great Avis location and service.

Awful experience dealing with this service. Our reservation was for 5 AM at the airport T2. Their office was closed, and the wrong number provided at the desk. After the security guy helped us with the number it took them half an hour or so to get to us.The was only one car from the corresponding class and no chance to choose. Even though our booking was made in advance, we were not able to buy the full insurance coverage in advance and when they started to calculate it, prices were strange, high and we had no idea how it’s calculated.Their employees don’t try to help and and do anything to improve customer experience.

Worst service ever. The counter is closed. Make sure you call other terminals before you get there because no one will be there to help you. They made me wait for 2 hours to rent a car. Never again rent with Avis.

Terrible service. Completely ruined our plans for the day. We were very limited in time this day due to quite short connection and had to wait for our car for 1 hour. Though lady at the desk knew that we are limited, she didn’t tell us that we had to wait the car for such a long time. Instead every 10 minutes she was telling that car is coming in 3-5 minutes.Looks like her desire to sell much higher that wish to meet customer needs.Very disappointing.

Not sure why this place has such bad reviews, Harris was really nice and helped us get a good car/rental rate. Did not have any problems returning the car either. It did take a long time to actually get through the car process but not much more than any other car rental location. Have not received a bill after our rental so I will update this if I do.

Try to avoid and you will do yourself a favor. Reserved a car prior to arrival, when i reached there they told me it was no longer available and they would offer me an alternative car. The car was 2 years old, in rental terms that is long. The car itself had scratches everywhere. Also while driving it there would be a constant noise heard from the rear. Car really shouldnt have been in use. Added to that they warned me that the car is a non smoking car, which is great for me since i dont smoke and hate the smell of cigarettes. Get in the car, it smelt totally of cigarettes. So i guess they must have charged someone extra for smoking in the car, and pocketed the money to clean the car properly instead of cleaning it for the next renter. Never again.

This is the worst place in the world to rent a car. They charged me for a scratch that was at least 2 months old. Because of this location, I will never rent another car from Avis as long as I live. I wish that I had read some of the reviews before renting from this location. Two year old car ended up being $400.00 a day and was suppose to be $120.00. I will dispute these charges.

Avoid this shady place. Please read:- I was charged more than my online reservation. I didnt even ask for any additional service or anything.- They made a COPY of my CREDIT CARD without even asking me. This moment started when they swiped my card then immediately made a copy of it. What the heck?- They also charge your credit card with nearly $500 for security deposit at check-in.- After I returned the car, and got my paper and receipt back, They told me you are good to go and we dont need anything. I discovered after a few days that they made (3 unauthorized charges to my credit card) without my consent and without notifying me at all. This due to the fact that they copied my credit card.- I will report to the Dubai police about these criminals.

Took too much time to get the car. Then the car was not as big as described not to mention that it was not in good shape and not a recent model. Asked for another car and took even longer time to get it. Not to say system was down also. Business process is not the best. Usually car rental agents give you the keys straight away. This does not. Never again.

This was the worst experience of my life while renting a car. I booked online with my Credit card and at Avis the woman (BTW she was very not respectful) told me its a debit card. I called my bank they told her that its a credit card and its also writted on the card but she didnt want to give us the car with the credit policy. She was yelling that its a debit card. I asked her to call her manager and she didnt want. I spent 2 hours at 3am to try to explain her that its a credit card but she didnt want to understand and to call her manager.Im really disapointed because I already used this company in France and internationally and Im living in Dubai and its the first time I had this bad experience.I dont recommend at all this rental car company in Dubai!!!!! Its a dishonest company. They are just trying to charge extra insurance and the employee are not friendly and very not respectful with their clients.!!!!

Horrible service and experience in T2.They advised me a convenient rate over a phone but I faced with completely different story then I came over to the counter... - higher rate (and nobody had no idea who I talked to 2 hours ago..), airport surcharge, vat, insurance, different location drop off surcharge (+300 AED if you drop off in AD)...Of cause I run away .. to prevent any other further trouble with this crazy company..... office itself like a garbage bin.. dirty, lots of papers everywhere, people snicking around, keys, food, customer credit card auth forms ... ahhI was so happy renting a premium MB C-class in Paris with Avis just few days ago but so frustrated with these people in Avis Dubai..They are so unprofessional and not client orientated .. huge impact on company and brand reputation..Should be fixed if they want to survive on this marketPsGuy name - Adil Ashraf. You just lost a thousand AED or even more just because of him..

Horrible company, they wasted my time. I came to only be greeted by a rude guy working there, it took him around 20 minutes to get everything ready. They gave me a horrible 2015 Land Cruiser that was hit from every side and the carpets and seats had stains on them. I refused to take the car and took my money back from this horrible company never rent from them again.

I rented from this location with AVIS, service was joke, took one and half hours to get car, Cars old dent no hub cap, to many kilometers, return took 1 hour and all most missed flight. Agent wanted me to drop keys , but this fishy start with Avis I didnt want it do it. I wanted them to inspect and give me final receipt. So I got receipt with every ok. 10 days later they charge me 600 dh. When I emailed and called no one cared and told me that is ticket from Dubai police,when I asked them to provide me proof or any documents that you get this from dubai police,they keep sending me Invoice that they Avis generated nothing from dubai police or RTA. I called Dubai police with licen plates and ticket number that Avis provides,they find nothing in system and never venu violation in last month under information that Avis gave me. I email Avis few times asking me to provide document or epayment receipt that they paid dubai police or RTA. But they are keep sending Avis receipt . And keep denying for payment or any prrof that they got for my Violation. They scam money to customer like this way or damaged on car. DO NoT REnt with AVIS . Take taxi, you will save more time and money ,

Bad service..the inspector was not friendly, just sat in the car and asked me to inspect the car by myself, when i notice a small scratched he just say no problem and make like annoying face. He isn not smiling at all. Then when I returned the car, the inspector informed me that everything is ok and ask me to give signature. Few days later i was charged AED 442 in my credit card for nothing although i had paid AED 75 per day for full insurance coverage.Avis didnt informed or sent me the breakdown of deduction of AED 442 not even via email. I had notify my bank to freeze the payment until i get clarification form avis Dubai Terminal 2. my agreement no HP 4004908-1 avis rep mr. haris.. this is my first and last rent with AVIS Dubai at terminal 2. i know avis will not bother to loss only 1 customer but i just want to express my impression for the BAD EXPERIENCE that i had.

Very bad service, as I requested a baby chair when i booked online but they told me they don’t have at the time i wanted to collect the car, Also they charged me extra day because they LIED about the time I collected the car, I don’t recommend anyone to book with this company.

I liked everything. We waited for about an hour, but it was our fault, as we took a lot of luggage and came to receive the last car (from our trip three families got a car in Avis). The staff at the reception is polite, they also speak Russian. They said that since we waited a long time, they gave us a higher-class car for the same money (instead of Nissan Sunny gave Ford Ecosport). The car is new, mileage is 3 thousand km, the cabin is clean. Moreover, when booking through the Internet, the amount in euros was indicated, and payment was made by dirhams in relocation to dollars, which is three thousand rubles less for 9 days of rent. They offered to rent without a deductible and a booster for the child. We refused, since the franchise is already so small (1500 dirhams, its about 30 thousand rubles, in Greece we took 1,200 euros), and we brought the booster with us. Receiving and refund with a full tank. I returned the car quickly. I came to the same parking lot where I got a car, the employee Avis inspected the car, checked the fuel level, I signed the receipt and thats it. The deposit has returned in about 15 days.

Rent a car in January 2020. I reserved the Nissan sunny car, but upon arrival of this class the cars were all occupied. An employee of the company was offered a car above the class 2018-2019 Nissan Kicks without surcharge. Satisfied with the service. For rent, an international driver’s license and a credit bank card (not debit) are required.

My experience with the company was excellent in terms of car receipt and deliveryBut was directly exposed to fraudBy illegally withdrawing an additional amount and details as follows:After the delivery of the car and my return to the country was deducted the amount of car rental through the Visa card was on 6/1/2019Then another amount was withdrawn on 20/2/2019After confirming the bank, the bank told me it was a fraud and the card was stopped.For information I am booked by applying the company directly and not through an intermediary.Beware everyone of this type of fraud.

ABSOLUTELY LEAKED SCAMS +++Reservation via the Avis.fr site of a Nissan Sunny for a week, receipt of confirmation and withdrawal of money from my account. Upon arrival at the agency counter, the person declares that he does not have my reservation and refuses to leave me a car. No conciliation and no possible arrangement, after an hour of negotiation, I take a car to a neighbor, telling me that I will be reimbursed for my Avis reservation ... and indeed not, REFUSAL OF CUSTOMER SERVICE AVIS FRANCE DE ME REFUND. Big scam, supporting evidence and available for anyone who wants to check. NEVER RENT AT THEM.
