BE AWARE!They NEVER SENT BACK THE DEPOSIT, they ignore my e-mails and finally I had to ask my bank to open charge-back with the deposit transaction to receive my 1.500 AED back.I am in shock in 2021 Dubai can let this scam company provide their business!For everyone who got robbed by them - Open dispute (charge-back) with your bank and you will get your money back as international warranty claims will be on your side. I’ve been with CL for few years. They used to be great. I mean they used to be brilliant. But they brought in new people and while on the phone they are all sweet and make lots of promises in reality it’s a nightmare. Returned my car on the 20th January 2021. I was promised my deposit back minus tolls within 30 days. Now they’re sitting on it even so I was promised last week that I will get my deposit back. Cars are old and I’m not kidding I had the battery changed at least 4 times in one year. I’m paying almost the same money now for a brand new car 7 seater with no deposit. The drivers that looked after picking up the cars for servicing were always excellent. Maybe they should get promoted. I could never speak with a manager and they have no complaints procedures. I do not recommend it. Take it from someone who’s been with them for over 3 years. If you already made that mistake get out as soon as you have an opportunity. Good luck😂

Have refused to pay back my deposit from my rental till now, over two months later. Every time I call, they tell me they will get back to me and it will be refunded in the coming weeks, but still nothing. Such a scam! Never lease from this company!From all of the bad reviews it seems they dont repay anyones deposits. So shameful to be taking peoples money during these tough financial times.

Never refunded Deposit after 4 months. They confirmed the car was fine. Only rented it one week. They owe me over 1200 dirham and always just say just wait or weve sent an email.COMPLETE SCAM. DO NOT HIRE.Just read the comments on trustpilot. These guys are thieves and never pay ANYONES deposits back. Only way is to go to the police, as someone else did to get their refund.With enough complaints they will hopefully be shut down and someone put in jail for stealing peoples money.

I concur with many of the negative comments about Carlease. I had nothing but issues with customer Service since taking out a long term lease - thankfully the agreement is finished and Ive handed the car back. This was over 2 Months ago and to date they still havent refunded my deposit. I notice that many reviews reflect that they have not paid deposits back to honest people who hired Carlease vehicles in good faith. This is not a hire company I would recommend and will certainly not use it again.

Would never rent from them again. Rented a SUV for a month. I have not received a $550 security deposit from a rental in December 2018. Its now /close to the end of February no reply to multiple emails. I will be sending someone over to sort it out. Sadly.There were also multiple issues with the vehicle Air conditioning was not working in the back of the SUV and the windshield washer tank had a leak so it was constantly empty.An update: Mar 21st they are looking into the deposit 2 months latter. A shambles looks like their running their business using the security deposit.. I had someone go an visit the company again. They are definitely not getting any commercial business going forward.An update April 23rd still no refund of the deposit 4 months latter. They messed with the wrong person. It going to effect their commercial business when i am done with them. According to the last email i received. They are waiting for authorization from the signatory. :)An update its May 5 months later still no refund. no reply from the department either. Next stop complaint with consumer protection.An update consumer protection does nothing in this country. Why am i even surprised. Carlease confirmed deposit was returned back in July sent me a picture of the credit. Its October now it still has not been credited to my credit card. No problem the commercial deals from my businesses related over there have not and will not ever use them again.

They charged us for an extra month of rent without even asking if we wanted to continue our lease.We rented a car on the 6th for 1 month and received an invoice for an extra month on the 28th when we were going to return the car before our contract period.Still trying to figure out if they are even going to give us a refund...

Extremely disappointed. The AC in the car we rented was not working. We also asked to replace the vehicle with a larger model and they had nothing available for a week. Low inventory. The sales lady was decent. But the “driver” at the discover gardens location is extremely slow, and had horrible customer service skills. I’ll never rent from here again and don’t recommend any one does either. There are better options in Dubai

Still awaiting return of 1,500aed deposit off a 3 day rental. Car returned on 28th Aug in excellent condition and with half tank of fuel as per our agreement, however they have not fulfilled their side of the agreement by returning deposit within 21 days of the car being returned. Today marks 3 months since I returned the car. Limited customer service or assistance with this issue by ignoring my emails and hanging up on phone calls. They consistently are stating that my refund is in Process with no evidence of this.

I have never experienced such a terrible and fraudulent company before. I rented and returned a car from Carlease in Discovery Gardens in January without fault or fines. A month later my card, as acknowledged by them, was charged an additional AED 1050 in error. It is now March and I am still waiting to receive my initial deposit of AED 1500 and the extra 1050 that was later charged for no reason. I would advise anyone to avoid this company entirely.

DO NOT USE their service. Its been 3 months, several follow-ups calls and emails and still I havent recieved my security deposits. So if you love your money and peace of mind, dont go with this company.

VERY VERY BAD EXPERIENCE.This is a company cheating customer. I rented car in october 2018. They debited the card for security deposit and told that it would be paid back to my card in 21 days. Until now inspite of several reminders they have not deposited. When I contacted the customer service emergency number when I was unable to contact them on regular number I cant do any thing, when I told I will complaint to consumer department she said do what ever you want. I am filing complaint against them in the consumer department.

Reading through the other reviews, it seems they use the same excuse a lot- that they dont have the card details. After that, theyll come up with another excuse. Like the person whos suppose to authorize refund is on leave. After that, theyll come up with many other creative excuses. When i rented from them, they double charged rent and did not return it right away. The car they gave me also did not have proper wipers. Since it had been raining, i had to buy and replace it myself. When i returned the car, they guy who checked it even asked if they could have it because i wasnt going to use it. Very unprofessional. Please do not rent from this company. Low quality cars, over charging and wont return your deposit. Its a nightmare to deal with their customer service.

I DO NOT RECLMMEND. WARNINGI rent a car during few days in November 2019. They ask me for a deposit for the car and I propose to pay it by cash. They refused they asked me for my visa card. They took it in photo and the same day they took the amount of the caution of my bank account. When I dropped of the car I ask about my deposit and they replied to me that I will be reimbursed in the next 20 opening days... So they can take the money immediately from your account but when it is about to reimburse you it takes days and days...And so we are the 1st of February, more than 2 month after that I dropped of the car to Carlease and so ? Still no deposit on my account. They are telling me that they do not have my visa card information and then no my bank account information and they that have to wait for the general manager signatory and then so much lies... It is so shameful to lie this much for an agency... And it is not over. Of comparison with Sixt you are taking back your money at the money you are giving back the car.... Besides, on all exchanges I have with Carlease each time they are giving me a new date for the reimbursement... So shameful Carlease...

We hired a car from the discovery gardens branch in the month of Oct 2019 and are yet to receive back our deposit amount of 1500 AED. Have been following up regularly but no one has taken any interest in resolving the issue. Absolutely horrible support staff and they dont pick their landlines at all.. I would never recommend any one to this rent a car company ever.

The worst rent a car company ever! i rented my car and returned 3rd of June 2018. and they told me that my security refund will be paid 3rd of July 2018. today is 8th of august 2018! many times i called them - many times i sent email to them, each and every time they are telling me that sorry we will take care. but no update no professionalism!!! still not paid my security deposit yet!!!!! just keep away from them!!!!!

As it turns out, I do not see myself as the first one to raise an issue / complain about the recklessness for not reverting back on Security Deposit + excessive amount charged wrongly. STAY AWAY!! even 1 star is too much for this amateur, tricky, liar company. I was a lease customer, they replaced my car by lying. They collected my first car for RTA renewal, it was supposed to be returned within a day. When I called them they said theyre selling this car, already on sale, i can keep the old, dirty, smelly replacement car as permanent car. I decided to cancel my contract but i had to wait for hours when returning the car, because they lost replacement cars papers. All employees are so rude, ignorant, and dont know what theyre doing, they dont know how to communicate. Now its been 3 months, still they didnt release my deposit even though all bills and early termination penalty fee has been paid. They dont even reply my emails and calls. There are well known car rental companies that offers brand new cars with the same price of car lease, just stay away from them.

Car Lease on its own are a terrible car rental company. They had a luxurious time with my credit card which was saved on their account. I still havent received my deposit (been more than 15days) and all the extra charges havent been accounted for.I would never recommend Car Lease. I have lived in Dubai all my life and Ive seen better ones. Do not fall for Car Lease offers. They are terrible and will come bite you back someway or the other.My car quality was terrible. I was given a car which had driven 160k+ km. Engine was super noisy.I wouldve given negative rating if that were a thing.

They kept a copy of my credit card numbers without my knowledge/permission, before the car returning due date in few days they took rental fees for another month without my knowledge and if it wasnt for the bank sms service i wouldnt know about this payment and returned the car like nothing happened, and when i caught them their reason was it is because i didnt reply to their email if i wanted to extend the rental or not, what about phone call ??? U think people check their email 247??? I looked carefully at the terms of condition paper/rules paper , there was no such thing says we will cost you another rental fees if you dont reply to our emails , or at least we will keep a copy of your credit card.However their other services was fineI am changing my credit card number soon.

Finally after 1 year we got our deposit back just because we went to the police and they were behind them...I dont know how this place is still working

I have rented a car on 23 August and they promised to return the refund by 23rd September. I have contacted them for the refund and mailed several times. There is none to take the phone call however they replied in mail but truly speaking i dont have any hope, especially after reading all the comments.I dont suggest the rental company anymore.and i dont know ill receive the return amount or not????????

Company will hold your deposit without any information, for more than 20 working days. Some excuses will be given foe its for approval etc. Also very difficult to contact someone as simply phone rings and no one can be bothered to pick up. Overall good rates and decent cars and service (thank you Nikhat) however because of their accounts I will not rent from them ever again.

Same issue of not getting the security deposit refunded by Car Lease LLC.I got a 2-day rental back in February 2019, but still trying to get my Security Deposit refunded - Ill keep trying until I succeed though.Car Lease LLC - please get in touch, and give my security deposit back!

Dont trust them. Low quality and old cars, no specifications or extras in the cars. Just plain cars. You pay a lot for nothing. I called them, they promised me a car and then they didnt even have it! They offered a replacing model (very old) while they got the model I asked for. The new car never came. They charged me twice for the rental car (by mistake) and asked me to claim the money back. This money, a month later, has not came yet into my pocket back.

Please, please, please, by all means avoid renting from this company!!! I have not received my security deposit (AED 1,500) from them and our contract terminated back in November 2018. Moreover, they even charged the credit card I used with some 500+ dirhams last December. I want my money back. They used my Spanish visa card when I had specifically told them I would make a transfer every month (visa card was just for the deposit). Paying with a foreign visa card is obviously more expensive to me because of international commissions (but they didnt care).Its taken them ages to give my deposit back.They also made a mistake and charged me twice. It is a FRAUD company. Trust me!! DO NOT ENGAGE IN ANY SORT OF BUSINESS WITH THEM.1. All the cars they provide have no valid VEHICLE REGISTRATION and INSURANCE Kindly ask for car registration and insurance details before signing any agreement and renting. As you drive a car without registration youll incur AED 600 as fines and 8 black points.2. Credit card fraud - As they have your credit card details - they will charge whenever they feel like MANUALLY using the POS machine. They will charge you for fines, they will charge you twice or sometimes thrice in a month. Several cases from the Mashreq bank as been registered under this companies name. Everytime Mashreq reaches them with a case, they return the money stating it was a HUMAN ERROR.3. They dont pay RTA FINES. Go and check the RTA website and check for yourself. The company will collect fines from your credit card without informing you and doesnt pays to the government. This is a very serious issue.4. Deposit refund - Once they get a hold of your deposit, wooofff!!! Gone!! Your money is never coming back to you. Especially if you are a tourist. Avoid choosing this company. They believe nobody has the time to leave their work and keep chasing them for deposit. If you read the reviews below youll understand everything said here is actually true. DONT EVER RENT CAR FROM Carlease. Ive rented a car from them in July 2018 and they didnt refund the security deposit until not Feb 2019. Ive sent tons of emails and went to the office but they did nothing and every time they make up and excuse.There are hundreds of car Rental in Dubai please stay safe and use another one.

Would strongly suggest NOT to use Carlease. I am forced to file a police complaint against this company for misuse of my credit card. They have illegaly made 3 withdrawals within th past 10 days with no proper explanation. Shockingly unacceptable and unprofessional.

Not the best customer service. Rude staff. Once rented a vehicle with one if my colleagues from there. Their staff took a long time to do the formalities and it was the time they close their shop. The person who inspects and issued the vehicle was not happy that he had to work at that time and blamed me for that! Some respect towards the customers would help them to retain customers. I never rented from them since then.

Update 16.03.2018 Dear Carlease Team I have written a lot of eMails and set a lot of calls to your customer service but did not get any answer and my calls were always forward to a mail box ...I have for the 3rd time asked my bank for any payment of your company but there are no entries about it in the whol bank system.the document you have sent on Feb 1st doesnt include any confirmation about any payment. It is just printout about an internal transaction with status Under Process and without any data about sending bank (your bank).DO NOT TRUST THEM!!!! I am still waiting for my deposit money since more than 4 months. I have written a lot of emails, made calls nothing really happen. I got an email on Feb. 1st with transaction details about transferring that amount to my bank account but I have not seen any money till now! I just call the customer service and after I have told that guy about my concern he Forward the call to desposit department... it was a mail box...Just to be fairly - I have rent the car at the finance centerAgreement No. 5000571-1

It’s purely unprofessional company, the price agreed will increase once you return a car and wouldn’t tels you anything until you check how much left in security deposit , unpleasantly receiving clients and cars from 2015 who has more then 100000km . Worst Car rental experience. Please do not go for this rental. Rented car on 09Feb2019 for just one day and still did not receive the deposit 1500 AED back. Multiple emails sent and no response from their team. When we went and asked in the discovery office, the response given was pathetic. Watch out!! They gave me a broken car and they tried me to pay for it. The fuel indicator market always 4, but it was broken. So fuel run out almost right away, as soon as I went out of Carlease and I was in trouble in the middle of the road. Level was still indicating 4. I filled to full the deposit, but it still marked 4.I went back and it was hard to make them change the car (you cannot drive a car if you dont know how much fuel you still have).The incredible thing is that they tried to charge me one week after, 60aed in my visa because the level marked 2. It was broken! the indicator didnt ever move from 4 I filled full the deposit!! When I gave the car it was still indicating 4.

I had rented a Hyundai Santa fe for 5 days from car lease discovery gardens. Very good pricing, well maintained neat and clean car, extremely satisfying customer service - Mr . Simon and Mr. Francis. I would easily recommend car lease rental without second thought.

Carlease rent out unsafe cars. Do not I repeat NOT chose Carlease as your rental company. The first car i received the tier got flat after driving for 10 min on sheik Zayed, which could have been deadly. Then on my new car the tier is very old and i have to put air almost every week and all experts inducing my friend who is a police is saying that the car rental company have to change it. but they are still stating that the tiers are in good condition. Secondly when I received the car on the 10th August I payed and then again i payed on the 28th August and the company is refusing that i payed double.They are disrespectful and put people in dangerous. Should be reported asap to the police. Flat tiers on a highway is NOT a joke.

Per day rental charged was 110 Dirhams for Hyundai accent whereas market rate was 90 Dirhams (Im a tourist to dubai)Deposit collected was 1500 Dirhams (paid using my USA dollar credit card)Car returned and I was told that refund will be after 30 business days !!!!33rd day no refunds received when contacted a mere apology and requested to provide bank details for transferring refunds.Refund processed was for 1494 Dirhams (where did 6 Dirhams go ? No answer)Did not get money. After a week when contacted they said bank put on hold since money cannot leave UAE network without aed processing account ... I never understood.Neither could transfer to my india account nor to usa account.They were just silent... Stating we can transfer back to local account. As a tourist how will one have local bank account. They would have thought that I will let go.Luckily my sister lives in Dubai. She managed to get the refund.Otherwise ? Never ever - they rented us a car without the insurance and Mulkiya renewed (happy to share the full thread of emails if Car Lease denies it). They dont take our calls or hang up, decided to terminate the contract without giving notice or reason... We still have to show the renewed Mulkiya to the Police and Car Lease is still unable to provide it or share a plan on how they will provide it in time... Bear in mind that if you go for Car Lease you should be prepared to treat with unprofessional people who might put you at risk.

Dont love driving and I wish I didnt have to drive, but these guys at least made getting a rental car easy

Do not rent from them, they are messing around with deposits. We have reported this to DED. I hope authorities will take action. You need to alert authorities.

This is only renatal company I found where people understood what isofix seats are. Knowledageable team.

Never again!!!They took deposit from my credit card and did not charge it back. Only after going back to the office by my self and calling every day at their SERVICE number I got it back after almost 3 months.
