UPDATE: U-Drive representative contacted me.We had made a complaint regarding a car we had hired from U-Drive, which was dirty. However, the company did call back and apologized for the problems caused and assured that they will rectify the issue in the future. The representative was very considerate and helpful._________________________________________I hired U-Drive car, it was very dirty from inside and outside. There was tissue and wrappers thrown. There was problem with the tire, we informed the customer service and they were least bothered to help, we called a coupleof times and they said they will send a driver to check it but no one came.The cars don’t have registration card so Incase you get in accident you’ll be in trouble with the police also as U-Drive is not ready to send registration card ( Mulkiya ).

Avoid it! They charge you unjustified and unannounced commissions and fees. They deduct your money from the card and the only thing you can do is block it. Bad assistance, they dont speak English well. Dont make the same mistake as me. Rather take Uber and save yourself

I had an emergency and took a ride to pick Udrive. On arrival found the car battery is dead. I rushed to pick another car for daily that was almost 25 KM away. After reaching there I found that car is not there. Searched here and there to locate but meanwhile received a call from Udrive and they informed that it’s there application fault. This is where the pathetic word perfectly fits :((

Even though this is a great Idea but its so far my second time using this service and the cars Ive been taking have problems.Either chip not in there for the fuel, or now the car maintenance doesnt move well when I put my foot on fuel and Im told to go find another car and switch !! Its suppose to be easy service not to take more time of my day and drive when Im scared something happens.The cars need to be better quality and checked .Also the same car now the radio is locked !!!!

They can withdraw money from your credit and debit card repeatedly without your knowledge.Cars are so bad and broken. They will do anything to get your money out of your pocket.I have shared my previous experiences with you, I definitely do not recommend. 👎👎👎

Please stay away from their daily offers especially, just tricks...got the AED 99 only to receive a bill of 190, how is it a daily deal if i can only cover 100km...when called was informed it was unlimited and after Billing am told its on the app that i can knly do 100km of course by now they got my money from the credit card.Secondly the cars are not well maintained last few times i always got some sort of mechanical issue,the interior is always dirty and smell like something died in there .A good idea but poorly managed and tricks to get money out of peoples pocket

Worst worst worst App EVERRRRRR!!!!I took the car from Abu Dhabi to Dubai, rentingfor one day, on a daily basis, 99 dirhams, and I can extend the period according to what I want as usual they are cutting the amount after ending the trip, but I was surprised when I was in Dubai that they closed the car because they deducted the amount from the card and it was not available, knowing that I did not have internet to add My other card and when they called me, I discussed with them that I am in Dubai and that I am front of the car and I will drive now to Abu Dhabi at this moment and I will add my other card at home and they can deduct the two days, but the customer service was one of the worst things that could be done, as if he saved one sentence in his mind and he keep say it again and again that I cant take the car back to Abu Dhabi unless I change the card now and he didnt understand that I dont have internet in this late time . He told me to go somewhere and connect to the internet, I understand that this is the companys policy , but there should be some exceptions for some cases. I didnt Say that I will not pay, I told him, give me a maximum of two hours to go to my house in Abu Dhabi and I will add my other card, but as if he was sleeping or am listening to computer record and same words he keep saying he didn’t even discuss with me , seriously seriously one of the worst programs on earth, knowing that it is not the first time from Udrive to do mistakes with me, kindly make good training for you customer service,Also I took it for 2 days so it have to be 198 why you asking for 212.40 !!!!!!!!

Udrive is really at the top of the game when it comes to customer service and their app and functionality from payments to booking rides are really user friendly. It is almost seamless to rent a car from the start all the way to the end of the journey. The customer support number is always reachable and staff have been very helpful. Even the fleet of cars are in 90% good condition and kept clean.Very pleased customer here.

Udrive offers amazing convenient car sharing service with great customer service. I have been using them for more than 2 years; although I have faced a couple of issues, they always strive to improve and make a better experience for the customer.Also, the value for money is superb compared to any other travel means. The customer service is very poor and full of attitude. They don’t have courtesy to call customer and they charge on your credit card without approval. The charges are always more than the agreed or mentioned before driving the cab.Would definitely suggest to stay away from this as I felt like cheated due to excess payment charged on my credit card. The customer care don’t bother to call to clarify and their staff member Mark Pablo is full of attitude when he is writing email to customer.

This is my experience with Udrive.I rented one of their daily rate cars, knowing that by default and per their website/app that all their cars are INSURED and obviously no need to double check that if you are a regular user. I was driving back home and the police stopped me and informed me that this car must be towed as the insurance expired and the car registration also for almost a year! How embarrassing that they let their cars available to the public without any insurance cover. I proceed to call Udrive and on the phone they ENSURE me that the car has insurance. The police ask me to follow them to the station and I am trying to get Udrive customer representative to send me the insurance proof ASAP and it is taking forever for him to do so. By the time I got to the station, the police informed me that I will be fined 1000 AED and 4 black points on my driving license because guess what... the car is not registered (expired). By the time the customer representative got back to me, he confirmed that the car had no insurance.The police officer literally told me that if I would have hit anything I could have faced jail time. Udrive offers to get me a driver to drop me home, so 30 min later of me waiting for the driver to arrive,  a driver with a passenger comes and tells me what is wrong with the car. So they didnt send a driver but a mechanic :). Again, embarrassing for how they are handling this situation and bear in mind that this is late night! I had to explain to him and he said he cant drive me back home but he can unlock another Udrive car for me for me to drive home. I was tired and sure I took the car and drove home.The next day, someone calls me from Udrive to tell me they started an investigation and how sorry they felt about this situation and they will solve it ASAP and that made me feel relieved. Ofcourse, I was too optimistic, he started asking me to send him all my documents such as my license and passport copy.. and my question was that I already have an account, dont you have all of this documentation? He said no.. we dont have access to those and we need to update it in our system. Again, very bad from their end. In any case, I had to chase them 3 days to get a fine paid online.. I did not understand why it took them to pay a fine they know they are in the wrong for 3 days! In any way they offered compensation which was really really embarrassing. They offered to pay half of my Udrive rent and that was it. They did not consider the time wasted that night with the police *which was 2 hours) and that they did not get a proper driver to drop me back home or at least offer a complementary trip.In the end, here I am weeks after the incident still waiting for their promised investigation result. I am a fan of Udrive over Ekar because Ekar app is not as user friendly but at least they make sure that everything is signed off properly before a customer uses their service.

Pros: Can be handy for a few hours. 24h rates are OK. Mustang is fun (shame about the nasty paint job)Cons: Many vehicles are in embarrassingly bad condition. You may want to wear a disguise whilst driving. Hourly price hike of a massive 35% as of May 10th 2021. Low basic mileage allowance.Verdict: Handy for quick trips to IKEA or for 24h local sightseeing. For everything else, taxi or proper car rental is better.

Most of them only accepts credit cards which is very annoying.Finally I found “Udrive” after so much browsing and searching. It wasn’t easy to find “Udrive”.I downloaded the app following step by step, it was very easy all the way. I must say they are cheap, reliable, easy to find/ hire and very transparent and convenient. No deposit required. Pay as you go. Very good customer service.I fully trust them “Udrive”Shame they don’t have any executive, German make or high end cars I wish they did with extra cost.I’m happy to recommend others and will always use them.

Its very convenient for me to having car sharing service in such a busiest city of abudhabi when I cant afford to have a car and its budget to have my own car and related services like parking etc. Sometimes I cant find the location of the car in the parking but its due to GPS settings, but I think when someone looking for location of the car there may be an option that car gives signals like beeping to its customer so he can locate it easily. In the end Thank you Udrive for helping me with your service.

I love using Udrive. Ive been driving their cars for two years now and they really make my life easier. Because of the nature of my job, owning a car wouldnt pay off to me, so Udrive is perfect solution when I really need one. The cars are always clean and in order and the call centre is very easily accessible - they pick up almost immediately.

I used Udrive multiple times and pretty happy about it. It is very convenient for those who dont want to go through car rental agencies procedures, unbearable waiting time and hidden charge scams. Cars provided are generally clean and well maintained. It was easily available whenever I wanted but had to walk about 50/100 meters to reach one.I would recommend to increase the fleet of the cars especially supercars to attract more customers like me ;)So if you are in hurry remember to check if the car is nearby and be aware that you need to give 10 to 15 minutes to check the car and upload photos to the app for any previous scratches to prove its not done by you to avoid any liability. Have fun.

Using it since last 3 years. Very regular user as i dont have car yet. No issues very nice cars, price and helpfull. Last week i was going for meeting tried to close the car but it wasnt. All day it remained booked. But in evening it called them once. They fixed th3 issue no extra charges taken from me.

The most bad experience in UAE.I try their service and i parked the car just for a little time in mall free parking after one hour i check to take the car back i find the car not available .Next day I received penalty from them say they deduct 200 AED because i park inside the mall after that i call the customer service one of the staff they told me this 200 AED maybe the mall close and this recovery charge....maybe ??!!I always use Ekar and that’s never happened to me but was bad moment when i find there car more near from me .Not recommend at all.

Udrive is a excellent car sharing service. Absolutely love the App very easy and quick process to get a car. I have been using Udrive more than 3 years.They have good variety of cars specially Mustang.All the cars are very neat and clean. Highly recommended.

Great app, works seamlessly, and so easy to just grab a car and go. The whole process is much more efficient than the other brand Ive used in Dubai.

They have late charges on your card, after 2-3 months using their service they will charge saliks? on your card randomly. And spoke to customer service today- he was very rude and unapologetic and cant handle the concern properly.

An additional charge of AED 5.00 per trip as sanitization fee , at least have the courtesy to mention in on the booking page rather than deceiving the customers.Mentioning it under help and faqs seems very illogical.

Absolutely awesome service! Very easy to register, excellent customer service. Wide variety of vehicles (even mustangs!!) around the city. The price is the lowest within the various car sharing options in Dubai and you don’t have any hustle like taking pics of the car before and after using the service! Horrible app. Charged me twice for a car hire and kept saying one of the charges was rejected. However, i paid for it as it shows on my statement. Been a month but still haven’t refunded the extra charge, even after i shared my card statement. They keep saying we are investigating.Customer service is horrible. Cars are dirty and in bad shape.

U-Drive has been an excellent option and solution to my driving needs. Ive been using it for more than a year now almost daily with more than 500 rides.Its easy to register, book and drive, and the customer care department is always there to help me out whenever I have a small issue, which honestly is not that frequent.I strongly recommend U-Drive compare with any other transportation option (other car sharing services and public transportation)

Have been using Udrive for a while now. Its really worth it if you want to travel short distances and dont wanna pay for fuel/parking. First of all, you need to be lucky to have a udrive vehicle nearby at the time of need. Yes, if you want to contact the customer care, it will take ages for the call to connect. I hope they would hire more people. Before booking the car, inspect the car thoroughly. Theres an option while booking to add pictures of the car. So, whatever scratches, dents you see, take the pictures. Read the terms and conditions properly. If you follow everything, Udrive is much cheaper than taking a taxi. And for long distances, i wont recommend using UDrive since their km allowance is less and you have to pay 1dhs extra for each excess km. Udrive has really helped me to travel between Sharjah and Ajman since Sharjah/Ajman cars can be used /parked in both the emirates and theres no intercity charges or anything! Would be better if they can show our PIN number somewhere in the APP.

Honest in depth review - Ive been using this service pretty much from the very beginning. And must have changed my review about 10 times. So here is my final review.I think the concept is amazing. Any city needs it. Its especially useful when your car is in service and taxi is quite expensive. This works out 2-3 times cheaper than taxi. And its a pleasure to drive a new car / different car often, this past week I had a mustang. Wow.The down side is that very often ( 2 out of 3 times ) the service isnt working, when I register for a car I receive a notification that Im having too many active registrations, even though I only made one. Which means I have to wait 15 min to do a registration again and by that time the car is taken, even though Im standing next to the car. When I phone the call centre they are helpful, but one waits so long to get through to them that by when the issue is sorted the car you are standing next to is usually then booked / reserved by someone else. Incredibly frustrating.Until the software is sorted without any glitches Im afraid there will always be frustrations. Super cool idea, but with taxis at least there are no frustrations. If the glitches are sorted it would be the coolest thing ever.Look at the attached picture. There are 3 cars in this road. Yet nine if them show up on the map, and its been more than 20 minutes. So even if some one has booked and not used it whats the point.

Didn’t have a good experience with classic rent a car companies in Dubai as most require minimum rental days, find ways to charge you for things they didn’t tell you before or just try to upsell you any insurance or things you don’t need. If you’re after a flexible hassle free car without any minimum time of usage just go for UDrive.As this was my first car-sharing experience I had many noob questions (eg. How to use it, where to park it, etc.) which Dipika from their Instagram account answered me in no time. She was very polite and helpful.Here‘s how it works if you’re using it for the first time: It’s just as easy to use as Apps for e-scooters. Just reserve the car on the UDrive App, go to the front door, unlock it in the App, go in, take the keys which are in a box inside and start your trip. Once you’re done just park it within the green zone which is shown in the App, put the keys back in the box, leave the car and end the ride in the App. Very easy.

It is an app really easy to use, and really good rates regarding the price, customer service is always helpful.

Good service and easy to understand. I would increase the number of vehicles in some big residential areas in Dubai and improve the parking rules because most of the time you reach a destination but the parking availability is more than 1-2km far from it.

They charge AED 200 for parking in IKEA jabel ali for a short period where there lot of customers will use and obviously i will not take taxi as its much cheaper taking this junk car. I got into minor car accident and called the police as I should have, got the police report and send it to u drive. Now I received a message from bank u drive trying to charge me 1860 aed! It’s so huge amount for minor accident happened in parking area not even on the road! No justification, no breakdown just email with amount additional charges 1860 aed. Called customer service, they told me it’s for additional repair charges, guys it’s rental car, insured and I paid fine to rta for making police report to give to insurance so it would cover repair. Total rip-off for minor accident with scratches on the car to charge this amounts!

Horrible Customer Service. trying to charge you with something which you did not do. and once you show proof they just deny it. they charged me 300 aed for leaving headlights on, showed them a photo which was morning when i used service and did not leave it, they replied with photo which was taken at night time with no proof and denied to waive charge. was an loyal customer, will never use again!!

I had worst experience with their back office team. Technology is good but their back office staff is worst!!!Basically they don’t know how to treat to customer!

They will bluff you with the no deposit thing and they will rip you off for every single small matter, they charged us 450 AED for not washing the car before delivering it, it wasnt even clean when we received it .also 100 AED admin fee if you have a parking ticket of less than 1000 hahaha, so its safer for us to take big fines in order to avoid their 100 AED

UDrive is breaking the law of UAE. I have International Driving Permit according to Vienna Convention on Road Traffic dated 08/11/1968 which was signed by both Ukrainian and UAE authorities. I have rented so many times cars in UAE with this permit!But this smart-city “smart” company do not accept my International Driving Permit.Support team is disaster in solving such questiones and complitely without understanding of laws on this topic!Can not recommened at all!

You are charging 5 AED as sanitization fee for each trip...I have used the same car for two trips this morning and nobody have used it between my two trips and even after my last trip. I was the only one who used the car till.You have charged me 10 Aed for sanitization.You are not doing sanitization for the car and charging it to the clientsIts not acceptable.You should adjust your sanitization rules and fees.

Just hope that you never get in dispute with them, worst customer service i have ever seen. They imposed fines that was done by other users to myAccount and had it charged to my credit card without my permission. I had proof comparing booking dates with fine timings even the fines they emailed me had different user names on it but they still charged it. I had to block my credit card to stop them from charging other fines unjustly and suffered with their customer service. They never replied to my emails, never responded to phone complaints, only putting requests that they never answer. It only got resolved when I approached the Dubai consumer rights which forced them to refund my money. Will never deal with them again even if they give free cars

The best and unique service which enable me to commute in Dubai like never before. I drove Ford Mustang for the first time and it was a dream come true moment for me. The only concern I have is the old Peugeot cars which are still in the fleet(Not so good condition).

Great service, great vehicles in good condition

After reading many of the one star reviews I dont think I am going to give any new information that hasnt already been stated with their forgiveness of fines and how much they charge.A few days ago I took a Udrive to the Ibn Battuta Mall. I did not realize that the parking without the roof was legal and the parking with a roof wasnt. It was definitely my fault that I parked there. My wife picked me up after grocery shopping. Three days later I was hit with a 200 dirham relocation fee.I e-mail and ended up speaking with Mark on the phone. He handled the situation well and told me that it was a decision from management which they couldnt (no, its wouldnt. Of course they could do it) refund the amount, give a credit for it, or help in any way.A month previous my wife and I grabbed a udrive and it broke down on the way home. We barely made it off the road to park it. I was told there would be an issue raised to get a refund from that trip but never received a response. Its not even worth it to try to get a refund for the 25 dirhams now.I am saddened because I actually enjoyed the service. Thankfully there is E car. I will be swapping to this service as I have noticed that their vehicles are in far better repair, cleaner, and newer models with fewer issues.After using Udrive for nearly a year I highly recommend that you use E car instead.Please note that parking in an area that has a roof over it costs you 200 AED just for someone to move a car 50 meters. This should cost 50 dirhams at most. This penalty is extortion. Goodbye Udrive.
