02.07.2021 First time. Place is huge and really busy, full of energy and buzzing with noise from the tv, music, from the conversations, clinks of cutlery and shisha apparatus. Shisha is good but they charge extra 2 dhs for the pipe (couldn’t remember what exactly). We ordered boneless chicken wings which was nice. Took us quite some time have our order taken.

I go here regularly as it is near my place.The Shisha is great when done properly, quality is not consistent though as it depends on the person who prepared it. Ask for Syed he’s the best.Food and Drinks are good, just takes time for the waiters to take your order and bring out the food.My last visit was kind of a disaster compared to the other times, the waiter forgot some of my orders and only served partially. I needed to repeat it twice, good thing that the second waitress who attended us were spot on and didn’t forget anything unlike the first one. Would recommend Jeremie.Overall, it is a good and convenient place. I love the ambiance, shisha and food. I just hope the quality of shisha and service will be consistent.

This place is not recommended.As an usual client of Kana Cafe Downtown, I had a high expectations about this new branch in Motor City.I’ve decided to visit with my friend and I got totally disappointed. The service was very slow, we wanted for 55 mins our simple food, it seems the waiter didn’t write down our order. Finally we received our food and it was not as expected.Besides, it was very noisy and played and trays were all the time falling in the floor. It was a disaster 🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️ never again

A fantastic place for Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner. You will not be bored or sorry for visiting this place. First of all the ambience is great. High ceiling, three level seating, one loft seating and one open roof (although due to COVID the loft and open roof have been closed). The seats are very comfortable, clean and welcoming. Tables are laid out with a log of space for privacy and social distancing comfortably. There are small fine dining type tables and lounge type seating for individual families to one side. Numerous TV screens are on the walls. Towards the family type seating each table has their own TV.The staff are a bit chaotic, however the restaurant manager Mohammed covers for them and offers excellent suggestions. The food is amazing, the coffee is refreshing, the shisha is addicting, the service is good. One would loose the sense of time in this beautiful restaurant.There are vegetarians options for food available on the menu.Overall a very good experience and thoroughly enjoyed the visit and the food.There is parking at the street level and underground too. A wheel chair access to the restaurant level at the drop off point.Toilets are not inside the restaurant but a bit outside the restaurant into the mall close by.PS: I was informed that the restaurant would be shifting soon. So, if you are planning a visit, please call up and then proceed.

We go there because it is nearby and they have cool ambiance and tasty food however their waiting staff is actually kinda rude. The girls are smiley however it takes ages to get the attention of the guys. They literally serve you as if they are doing a favor to you. Its a shame that this overshadows the beauty of the interior and the tasty food and drinks they offer.My humble recommendation is to let the waiters know what their customers are thinking about them.

Restaurant is very spacious and welcoming staff is also very friendly and efficient. They got huge space on the roof where you can sit and relax and enjoy your time.Will go back again and highly recommended.

The new place is nice and well decorated but the service is horrible. Finding a server to take your order is quite an effort as they all seem lost and don’t check on you even if you press the buzzer. Food took more than an hour to arrive and orders are mixed up or brought separately spaced far apart. We didn’t order much because we could see the service was extremely slow and confused or else we would have stayed longer and ordered more.

Worst service ever. Waiting 30 minutes for a waiter too takee my food order, after asking 3 waiters if I could order food. Waiting 40 minutes for charcole for my shisha, after asking 4 waiters if I could get a top up... No apologies or understanding for my issues. This place is a joke, went there to watch the game. To only be surprised that they close at 1am? Excuse me but I paid money and ordered a Shisha to watch the entire game not only half of it. Me and my friend were literally kicked out with everyone else there. I suggest going to nurai or nar since the game was still playing on their screens after 1am

I’ve ordered delivery from here, and it was pretty quick, and the food came warm. A wide selection of Mediterranean cuisines. I enjoyed their shawarma before, and this time had the kofta and freekeh. I would say it’s just a little over salted but not terrible. Can’t speak for the location itself though.

Good drinks, fairly priced. Excellent service even at busy times (Thursday night!). Shisha is average. We got the jumbo shisha which was okay. Lots of screens to watch sports and chill with your friends. Comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. You can pretty much turn up in your PJs!!

Outstanding food which u dont expect such tasty food from a cafe ! I ordered Kofta with Taheni and it was so delicious we also tried Ryash (Rips) and it was well seasoned well cooked ,A place where you can also have decent shisha with friendly crowd ,Underground paid parking which is usually full ! Located in motor city ,Staff are not so helpful .

We have been waiting for their new location to open for a while now, and we finally did try it last week.they have moved across the street and are now located in the 1st avenue mall in Motor City (you can see it from the main road). we went on a Tuesday night but the place was packed. we asked for a table on the terrace but it was full and they told us they will sit us inside until a place empties (waiting list) as they call it, but we waited and waited and after 3 hours no one even offered to move us to a table on the terrace!The design of the place is nice, but its too loud and they give you a food menu but if you order even a salad they get it as a delivery from another place, so we ended us waiting 45 minutes for a salad dish to arrive, and it was served in a plastic plate!!!quite disappointed for a 1st visit, but i hope things will get better with time.. and maybe if you book in advance you wont have to wait as we did.Parking is available under the mall and the first 3 hours are free of charge.

For now the new location across the street from the original restaurant is only serving drinks and shisha, if you want to have a meal you have to order at the restaurant itself, not the new café. It’s a lovely place though, hope they expand their services soon before summer arrives and it becomes too hot to sit in the terrace.

Terrible hosts! Went to have my breakfast and being asked to fill up a paper with my name, my phone number and email. I told them why and they told me that its municipality rules! I answered that i own 2 restaurants myself and that is a lie and they just do it to collect data for ads. I repeatedly said, i will not fill any papers, can i sit down and have my breakfast? The answer was... But everybody fills the paper, why are you like this?... And of course i left. Congratulations to the management and good luck!
