Good cafe with peaceful ambience. Food and service is good. Staff is friendly but forgot ful. One of them gave soup but forgot to bring the fries to it. Served garlic burnt rice and said crispy rice. But otherwise it is a nice place to have to good food. All the items were meticulously prepared and was delicious in taste.

Large spacious place… super chic instagrammable interiors… plenty of parking and spot on momos. This is a place where you can spend time with friends and family with some delish momos and sipping warm fuzzy tea!! I so wish Dubai had some serious rains.. this place would have been heavenly with some hot chai and a long lost friend talking about old stories :).Anyways place serves nepali indo Chinese.. Maggis, pasta and sandwiches . They have wide selection of teas too.. a super awesome place for lunch or dinner !! I love this place and you should definitely try once too.. we ordered manchow soup(best one I had in dubai so far), chinese combos (decent), cheese maggi (okayish, I’ve had better), pasta (nice), schezwan fried rice ( nice.. could be better), ginger ice tea (good), Darjeeling tea and lemon grass tea (very nice) and plenty of momos (bang on ). On the downside AC could have been better!! Anyway a place worth a visit though!

4/519th March 2021Came here with friends on a weekday. Got a table pretty quickly. The waiters explained the menu very well. The restaurant is pretty well decorated as well.I ordered the mixed platter momos. Chicken and mutton. It was TASTY! Amazing. Loved it.Tried a chicken Lollipop which my friend ordered as well. It was spicy and tasted nice as well.I had the Darjeeling Milk Tea as well. It was ok. Wouldnt try again. Not to my liking. All in all, would come again.

Nestled amidst the hustle and bustle of Karama is an oasis of peace and tranquility. On stepping inside, you immediately feel transported to another world. I felt as though I was in a cozy place up in the Himalayas. The decor is simple and rustic, echoing the peaceful Himalayan vibe. It is elegant in its simplicity. But enough about the decor, Im sure you want to know about the food.Lets start with the Tea...a variety of Darjeeling teas are available and in a variety of fashions. I would recommend the Special Darjeeling Milk Tea as well as the Darjeeling Nilgiri Blend, but you can choose any of the others and they will not disappoint. The food: The momos are delectable! Fantastic combinations to appeal to every palate. My picks are: Paneer Schezwan for the vegetarians and the Chicken Schezwan for the others. But again, you cant go wrong with any of them.Definitely try the chili garlic noodles. YUM!To be honest, everything that I tried from the menu was delicious.Pricing: It is very well priced and will not hurt your pocket.Remember to say hi to Anoop, he is one of the nicest people that I have ever had the pleasure of meeting.Overall, I will be back here again and again and again!

Went to this cozy place for an early dinner and enjoyed the meal thoroughly!!Enjoyed the veg sizzler, with rice and Chinese momos. The rice could have been more flavoured, it lacked spices and flavour. The veg Chinese’s momos along with sizzler tasted amazing, it was fresh crispy and soft. Also tried their Nepali style thukpa (veg), tasted fine, again comparatively Nepali thukpas are more in flavors and spicy ness which was lacking here. Overall thukpa tasted fresh and the noodles were well cooked. Will try their non veg thukpa next time.We also ordered for chicken bao, which could have been the best. Anyhow the stuffing the bao was still very tasty but the bao buns were a disappointment as we could smell the yeast very strongly! Otherwise it would have been the outstanding dish.. over all the bao chicken if I could imagine without the yeast smell, I would have loved it.Overall the experience was good, food was delicious and fresh. The staff were friendly and courteous towards their customers!

Test wise better than other places but cost is expensive 🙃 6 pcs chicken momo with AED 20 is very less. I went there to try the momo as a lot of people were talking about their momo but nothing especial. Only difference is momo Achar ( pickkle) which is in peanuts base ,else you get to test same type of momo all over the Dubai as well.

Nice place with North East Indian menu. The food is quite good and reasonably priced. The service sadly is a quite slow. However, this could have been a one off instance since we went during the weekend and I guess they were under staffed or overwhelmed. Other than that, excellent place, highly recommended!

Darjeeling cafe, one of the few fantastic restaurants. The food is nice and worth the money spent. I have had momos, veg noodles, some veg curries and their tea. One of the places where I could have tea outside my home. Their non-veg food is also great as I could see my friends enjoying the food. The ambience is awesome, as you can see in the pics.(they have moved to this new location like 3-4 months back, even I got confused when I reached new location).

Finally found a place that serves decent momos in Dubai. Darjeeling café does not disappoint you when it comes to food! We ordered momos, ginger fried rice and dried chilli chicken. They were all very good. With regard to ambiance, it isnt a very big place but quite cute and fairly clean. The servers are friendly, but the place is definitely understaffed. Too many customers and only two servers running around. They tend to forget orders sometimes and youve to remind them so that can become frustrating. This is the only reason my rating is missing one star.

They shifted to a new place and is now bit more spacious. But the design and looks they had before was better. Very nicely designed interiors with the theme of darjeeling. For the first time ever in ny life i felt annoyed for food being served too early coz i was not satisfied taking enough pics, and the food came, their speed of service quickest than even a cafeteria in uae, it was not a cooked and kept food, it was damn hot. And the taste was the most authentic. The way food is served, the way each ingredients in it are been cut finely, uniquely and precisely and the way each dish displayed separate from each others style, it shows that they have done a huge attention to detail and only a perfectionist head chef can acheive such a thing. The perfectionist mentality was seen maintained in its each and every aspects from placing each probs to until the way each pieces in the dish are served with such a polite staff, its a place to eat an indian and some one who like to experience indianism shud visit. But this is Darjeeling theme and nicely did the job. Very tasty food but the quantity is very less in all and is a bit expensive than normal restaurants but compared to all in all thats the right price.

Finally found a place for good momo’s here in Dubai. I had veg momos here and packed two more for home. Veg momo was really good+masala free, just like how it is! They even give soups with the momos. We tried the jhol momo soup and it was really good. However, the paneer bao was horrible. It was dry and weirdly chewy so we asked the server to take it back and fix it and he kept arguing with us that thats how it is and we are the first ones to say its not nice! We askes him to call the manager he said there is no manager. We asked him to replace it and give us momos instead he said they cant do that and it can only be replaced with another bao and that would take 20 minutes. We were almost done with the rest of our food so we told him we dont want it at all and asked for the bill. They charged us for the bao despite the fact that we didnt even take a proper bite of it. I would have loved to go back to try their other good but extremely disappointed with their poor service and lack of respect.

They serve the best momos on the Bur Dubai- Karama side. You get authentic Nepalese flavors all throughout. Their wai wai chat is also one of the best in town. Their chicken drumsticks are a hit or miss. Some days they prepare it really well and some days it tastes like raw chicken. The funny thing is inspite of telling them the chicken was undercooked and returning the dish after taking one piece they charged us for it in the bill. But I would definitely go back to this place though for their momos and wai wai chat. Space is a little limited if you go with a large group on weekends.

Ambiance: 4/5When seen from outside everyone will surely think how are we all going to fit in, we went as a group of 10 people, but we still managed due to the wonderful service provided. The cafe is small and cozy- and do bring the feel of a cafe place in Darjeeling, the decorations, waitings, the waiters, everything will remind of the same. And the place is nicely lit too.Service: 4/5Inspite of the rush the day we went in, the waiters were still patiently taking down our orders, and any suggestions or any change of the ingredients can be asked and it will.be done. The service was good and quick.Food: 4/5Darjeeling cafe- that means momos! We ordered momos, tapas- both vegetarian and non-vegtarian, rice bowls- munchurian and beef- and it was really good! Loved the taste and the momos were fresh. The milkshakes, cold coffee is a must try here! What was disappointing was the tea- being a Darjeeling cafe we tried the tea, they have varieties of tea, and we had 4 kinds- and it was not up to the mark, so wouldnt recommend that. And also the hot chocolate was too sweet. The masala chai on the other hand turned out to be good.For- family, friends and kids friendly too.No smoking areaNo alcohol served hereNo outdoor seating
