Slightly overpriced for the food they serve specially when there are plenty of similar cuisine restaurants nearby. Decent ambience. The staff however seem to ignore the client directions e.g. I specifically had requested the starters to be served before the mains but it wasnt done so. The aam panna (tangy raw mango) juice was sweet syrup missed with water and totally not worth it. The Chinese chicken chilly was similar to the street food in india which for me was the only plus and the reason for the second star. The gravy was decent but the pot in which its served makes its difficult to access it. Moreover the staff doesnt help you in serving. I would give it a pass if there was no waiting in similar restaurants nearby.

The food was amazing, serving time was quick despite the cafe being filled, the servers were extremely sweet and the overall ambience was too good. The musicians were professionals and played songs on request. We had planned to stay for only an hour but ended up staying till the cafe closed because of how great the experience was.Food - 4/5Ambience - 5/5Jam Sessions - 5/5Serving time - 4/5Decor - 5/5Totally recommend visiting this place with your friends. :)

Visited the restaurant two days back with my family with lot of expectations. But the experience was very disappointing. It was 3.30 in the afternoon and the restaurant was literally empty except for one table being occupied. Even then the staff was not at all welcoming, did not care to greet or usher us inside. I guess they were busy in their own activities. Finally we seated ourselves and had to raise our hands to turn their attention towards us. When the food came, it added on to our disappointment. The portion of the food was not complimenting the exorbitant price and the taste was just average. The only one appealing aspect was the decor of the restaurant which was unique and creatively done.

The place is nice for Instagram pics. On the food side to be very honest... my expectations were high but food was just okay...would give 2 out of 5. Portions were really small for the price they charge. Taste was also okay not more than 3 stars.Food presentation was good 4 out of 5.When doing a restaurant review taste is more important coz makes your time and money worth it. For me I will rate then just Ok.Ambience is really good the singer needs to get 5stars for making people stay there for long else the cafe experience was not really good.

We arrived and the place was empty, on a weekend, not a great vibe to begin with. No one greeted us nor were we welcomed as the single lady and gentleman were busy arguing amongst themselves. To begin with the seating in the restaurant is not very comfortable, the low tables are cramped and not suited for dining in and the high tables have very lean wooden chairs not fit for patrons. The food was ridiculously priced for what are essentially starters across most of the menu and when the food arrived it was as subpar and not very enticing. There are plenty of places nearby that serve great chaat at a fraction of the cost...

The long table laid out in the centre decorated with books, pretty showpieces and delish food with hit Bollywood songs from the 90’s playing in the background was an amazing way to experience their High Tea - the Desi way!!!I got to try Bombay Aloo Sandwich, Vada Pav in colourful buns, Pani Puri, Nutella Sandwich, Onion Rings, Chicken Pakoras, Spicy Chowmein, and Brownies. The savoury dishes were bang on flavour and really spicy, but in a good way. I relished it but it was too hot for my kiddo and a few other friends. But I guess you can ask them to prepare according to your spice tolerance level. The finale was their Karak Chai which they pour from colourful tea pots into colourful cutting glasses at the table. The experience for me was pretty unfortunate. The Bombay Thela Sandwich which is very simple and not grilled took 25 mins, plus there were no potatoes in it. So we returned it and had it cancelled. The Pullout Pav item was also mostly bread topped with cheese, oregano and Chilli flakes with vegetables and Paneer stuffing. The stuffing was hardly there. So its mostly just the pav (bread) that youre eating.I would not recommend this place for sure. Lots many better places like Mumbai Masti right besides this restaurant and Urban Tadka which is opposite Mumbai Masti are far better both in taste and service.

Food: 5/5Ambience: 5/5Went here on a weekday during the evening time and already it was buzzing , the ambiance was just great and with their funky interiors and lighting it was sending good vibes.Their menu is really creative, eye-catching and would probably take your time in just exploring it , the pun intended names for the dishes are also something to watch out for as its quite hilarious.Beverages :1) watermelon kala-katta (recommended): served in a bong , just made a whole new experience for me . The drink is literally what name states , truly amazing combination of watermelon juice and kala khatta.2) Indian ocean : this drink was also served in a bong , it felt like a mojito but a sour tasting drink.Main course :1) cheeseburst Vada pav (recommended): 2 vada pavs with grated cheese was just flawless , the stuffing of the vada pavs were perfect and hence it tasted great.2)Aloo tikki burger : Aloo tikki burger wasnt that great as it comes with burger and fries with a poor value for money.3)pizza on Puri (recommended) : presentation was great with around six pieces of overload cheese and vegetables on a Sev Puri based Puris , honestly a very creative idea as it tasted good.4)Chole bature : nothing creative here , just the classic chole batura with dark brown chole and soft baturas.Dessert:1)Brownie freak shake (recommended) : juding by the size , I have had freak shakes bigger than they offered but i guess it should be enough for 2 people, brownie and cream were just flawless here and milkshake was soothing too , definitely one of their best freak shakes.I had a lovely time at this cozy cafe and surely want to come back to try some of the items from their cool menu.

Service : Food Presentation is great but service attitude is where they need to improve. Stuffs are too careless to ask visiter what they want regularly. You need to call them rather him (there was only guy who was serving) for any need. β›₯β›₯Price : No value for money. As it is a restorent and food taste and quality is matter. Price is higher as per food quality. If you think you are OK to pay for food decoration then it is worth else worthless. β›₯β›₯β›₯Location: Happening area in Karama. You may get both Metro in walking distance. β›₯β›₯β›₯Ambience : Impressed with Ambience. Great interior and menu card design.Impressed with the word play which adds lot of meaning and nostalgia wrapped with spices all over the interior, even in the toilet. Which is surely not very common for someone to spend in a outside toilet. The class of the food out classes the taste of the food though. β›₯β›₯β›₯β›₯β›₯

Are you a Bhukkad ...?People still remember Charlie Chaplin as the tramp in a suit and a hat. The dressing is important and so is the case with food. The dressing makes it more interesting. If you are a bukkad, then you should be at The Bhukkad Cafe. Well dressed street food. We ventured to this world of street food when they were at the 25th day of running, within which The Bhukkad cafe has gained enough popularity in the Dining Table of Bur Dubai or the Khao Gali of Dubai, Karama... that the waiting for a table is seen outside, who were being served sampler juices.Interesting decor, and an attractive ambience with a way to serve the dtreet food in style. The 0 commandments of a Bhukkad welcomes you on the left wall with plants, bulbs, pots and kettles adorning the ceiling. The right wall has some interesting quotes for you to ponder, as they not only serve food for your pallette but food for thought too.The cozy bean bags, bright coloured chairs and sofas, the seating is a blend of all. The bright lighting and peppy music makes it more fad for the young at heart. The rough wood cut tables and the plumbing pipe stands that hold the wood, might catch your attention. The carts which say If you have an issue take a tissue also shows the eye for detail by the people behind the screen. The core of the commandments runs a video which exposes you to the world of street food. Serving style might shock you a bit with sweet surprises when pav comes on a slate, chowmein on a spade, bhature on a cart and pav bhaji in a tiffin box.Enough of the outside talk, lets come to the menu. vada pav, akori pav, kolkatar obhiman, chowpatty wali pav bhaji chole samose, sev puri sandwiches and chole bhature, have it your way ... maggi and the keema pav to name a few ... will surely spoil you with choices. Good choice of chaat (snacky) and food (Filling) alike. We tried out the pull out pav with cheese and the chau mean. Taste and presentations walk together like the feb 14 couple... hand in hand. The menu is not restricted to the mornings or evenings but will cater to those who want it thoughtout the day atarting at 10 am.The choice of drinks too is good. From varieties of coffee and tea... with variants like kesar elachi masala and adrak... to the milk shakes with a difference... even a milk shake with milk and pop corn. The water based drinks and floats too find space in the menu. The Water Melon Kalakhatta combination served in a bong with a slice of watermelon quenches your thirst as well as the thirst for variety. And if you are reminded of the pan wala out in the street... for a difference you can have a pan flavoured ice-cream for a difference.

Impressed with the word play which adds lot of spice to the interior design of the Bhukkad Cafe. Even the toilet rules were hilarious and one is sure to spend an extra moment in it, which is not very common for someone to spend in a hotel toilet. The intelligent quips and quotes spices up the proceedings till the short wait ceases to the delicious street food. The class of the food out classes the taste of the food though.

Omg! My sister and I are so in love with this little gem in Karama 😍 well done! And the karak chai is second to none! ❀️Reduced the rating to 3 stars because I was shocked at how disgusting the toilet was. I will most likely never return as one can imagine how dirty one can be after using such a disgusting toilet. Imagine how dirty the food can be?! I complained and hope that the stuff will do better with the cleanliness of the toilet next time.
