Good view of dubai eye. Waiter lacked food knowledge and he never smiled. Service does need a lot of improvement. Food was okey.

Good beach food! A server came by our cabana with a menu and ran our order - it came out pretty quickly too.I had the steak sandwich, which was pretty tasty. The fries were very nice too, with a nice touch of rosemary.

Good food, nice location and great service. Enjoyed a lazy lunch in the sun and portion sizes were pretty big.

This is the place we really wanted to visit while being on the beach. We knew that we could get some grilled seafood here American style. We ordered two shrimp salads, grilled halloumi, and avocado toast. The food was atrocious. And my girlfriend caught a stomach infection because of it. Never ever go to this place. Also these dishes coupled with a lemonade and fresh orange juice cost us $55 come oooon!

Went here for a quick and cheap breakfast while were on the beach. The waiter is always smiling, but she forgot our drink, so I had to get inside after we got our meal. The chicken was a little bit dry, and the English breakfast is a burger. We waited about 10 min after we finished before we saw the waiter so we could get the check.After all, this place has a great potential, but need to work on a few things.

Visited this place yesterday and can definitely recommend this place, mainly because of location! First line with open view to Bluewater island and palm Jumeriah! Perfect place to enjoy sunset 😍Menu is not big with mostly sandwiches and snacks. Service is good!

Really loved the new yorker hot dog! The food is amazing my daughters loved it too. Plus you enjoy your food literally on the sand perfect if you have small kids...you can relax and they can play with the sand right next to you!

The view was very nice, right next to the beach, but the food was terrible :( I dont recommend going there to eat.

Had a chicken wrap as a take away. It was rolled into the paper, so stuck together and was totally destroyed by opening. So not easy to eat with hands. Taste was a little strange, but that might be their signature spices (I hope). Pricy like everything here. So I wont come back.

Giving you a relaxing view while enjoying your meal. Isn’t that great?You will notice that the restaurant is kind of look like the structure of the washrooms in the area and guess what? It was indeed one! How cool is that? They didn’t do some major reconstruction and just turn it right away into a retro and aesthetic look. Putting a nostalgic feels of the vintage inspired furniture and designs, you will fall in love with its vibe. Totally instagramable!Lets talk about the FOOD.The MAIN! I love their baby back ribs soaked in such an amazing sauce. I’m telling you; you have to try it! Its tenderness and taste made me asked how it’s actually done.The smoked on the burger was superb! It was so huge and delicious. I can still taste it till nowWe also had retro seafood bucket. The seafood were extremely fresh and tasty. The sauce blends well with it.We tasted the BBQ chicken wings that was finger licking good.An amazing drink called Coco Bang Bang was served as well and we loved it a lot. It’s a mixed of infused herbs, coconut water and CHILI! Yes, a drink with chili! You have to try to know its goodnessHello Mello was so refreshing. It’s a drink and a dessert at the same time.Plus, the staff are so accommodating and nice. Always checking on how they can assist you. IF ur at The Beach JBR then this is the only place for ur food and beverages.. Best in business with their mocktails and finger food.. All dishes are served as quik bite and use n throw cutlery and plates... Service is at it best they will not make you wait long for your food

Our 60’s obsessed teenage daughter, Little Miss Finicky, was drawn like a moth to a flame to this place – what’s this? what’s that? Oh, look at this! look at that! For novelty, Retro Feasts takes the cake.The food however didn’t get the same unanimous thumbs up. My Fish and Chips was better than I expected but our daughter’s Mac and Cheese which was big on flavour was almost bone dry – hmm.Service was smiley (more I think, because of our daughter’s constant squealing at…um…everything) but I felt the girl behind the counter was only quickly-quickly, move along patient (you know what I mean?) – nothing offensive mind, but certainly not genuine – I wouldn’t want to be there at peak hours.All this said, I actually liked the place…for the novelty, for the nostalgia…but also for the food which is probably the best British food you’ll get in Dubai outside a Pub. Ta!

Lovely food

I love what chef Luke has created here. Delicious old school classics stir up feelings of nostalgia; things I miss about home. The perfect place to catch a quick snack when enjoying a day out at the beach.

Nice place to eat but avoid The Beach location on a Friday.Nice burgers and good service. It does have a great beach view and an all day breakfast burger if you arent allergic to eggs.

It was the first and last time.Food is very over priced for what you get.The fries are just the basic tasteless out of the freezer type and the burgers are small and basic.Poor presentation, food is served in paper trays with plastic cutlery in a plastic bag.Basic fast food at high end restaurant prices, McDonalds is better value.Other JBR Walk food outlets are priced high too, but the food quality is much better.

Very average food for top dollar price. The banana split came in a plastic bowl with a plastic tea spoon. You can do so much better than this.

Overpriced and poor quality food, drink and service

Cool concept and very laid back location directly on the beach. The food is overpriced and not the best quality - but overall a fun experience for a quick afternoon bite in between volleyball on the sand.

If the only thing you serve is a burger, one would expect that to be good. Amzingly, it was a horrible experience for us. Tbe beef burgers patty stank and the chicken burger was VILE.

A few things to work on but i liked it

The food was very bad for this price. Everything is served in plastic bawls, no silverware, pina colada tasted like water + syrup + lots of ice, the waiter was good though.

Please reconsider hiring a new chef. We received uncooked burger, Re- fryed- for- a- millionth- time fries, prawn cocktail salad mashed with Carrefour frozen shrimp. Jbr is an upscale place, and the restaurant is located right on the beach with a great view of the sea. Yet, the food do not match.

Very nice place

It is 08:07 and when I arrived the staff did not even greet me. I came earlier and they said they will open at 08:00. It does not sound welcoming here and I would say not promising at all. Big turn off from the first contact.

Food was alright... Not the best and a little expensive for what you get. Would rather visit shake shack to be honest. Good service though

Correct service and the dishes are good, not too much waiting.

Good juicy burgers, hot dogs, shavarma and salads. Everything was delicious. Very comfortable while staying at the beach. Everything will quickly bring packaged and fresh. Recommend.

Good burgers and hot dogs at a normal price. We were here with friends and were completely satisfied with both the food and the quality of service. And the location is convenient, by the way.
