There was queue, as the restaurant is full. But with the ambiance, we didnt mind waiting. And I can say that it is worth the wait. The food tasted really good and good for the price. Nice place to catch up with your friends, family or the person you love 😉 Dont hesitate to try this restaurant. We had a lovely breakfast.

It was my first time in this Cafe this morning 10 Sept 2021, I search on google the lists of cafe close to my place and of course I have to go with the most positive reviews and Friends Avenue is one of these Cafes. Location wise is super and parking is free for 2 hours. The ambiance of the cafe is peaceful and quiet,clean and tidy to sum it up itll give you a goodvibes while entering the Cafe. Staffs are not as graceful as I am expecting though but thats fine because when i requested something they are very quick to attend to it. Lastly the food, I was expecting a WOW one but apparently not, if you can see my photos the last one is with 2 strands of hair in my scrambled egg after I ate a mouthful of it,i didnt finished my food basically. Food taste is average,or maybe because I ordered the basic breakfast. Not quite sure if Id be coming back.

A nice comfortable cafe at Motor City which serves nice coffee and food. Cafe has a bright and warm deco feel. The place is popular so my wife and I were lucky to get a table. I guess getting a table may be a challenge at times. We will be back to try other items on the menu.

The ambiance is perfect for breakfast, full of plants and paintings making it a unique place in Dubai. Commonly full at lunch time, but the staff are friendly and make you feel at home. Their menu has many healthy options and they have the best coffee in Dubai!

I love this place and its vibes. The colors, lighting, food, everything is vibrant and happy, just like the name implies. I have visited both branches in motor city and thanya and both give the same feeling. Their coffee is good and the cups have generous amount. The food is fresh and flavorful. Over my visits i have tried different dishes from breakfast, lunch, desserts and beverages. The truffled mushrooms with poached eggs are simply amazing, the portion is on point and the flavors are bursting. The acai bowls are a must try, generous and creative with toppings. Its always a good place to go with friends.

Visited the care on Sunday morning. Whenever we have entered, a single waiter was literally drowning in the middle of request amongst tables those were seated and venue was almost full. No one welcomed us, and at a request made 5mins after, we were seated. Knowing that it was busy, have ordered the coffee and took almost 15mins for coffee to be served upon our follow-up. When breakfast orders were taken by waitress, another 1hr to be waited patiently. And at the end - we decided to pay for coffees and leave because we lost our appetite at our first meal for the day. Waitress insisted that we stayed for minutes, and we decided to wait 5 more minutes. Order was served, the poached eggs with truffled mushrooms and an English-style breakfast. Did not feel like it was top-notch quality, and had no appetite anymore anyways. They advised that our coffees are complimentary, and I would not even pay for the coffees - but hey, I did not receive any service at all as well as my morning ruined, and I believe the action needed to be taken was completely different in this type of cases. Did not say any single word to the waitress, and quietly left the place knowingly that never and ever going back to Friends Avenue again.

This is a pleasant and simple place to have breakfast.I loved the Brekkie Board, it has all the ingredients for a satisfying and craving-fulfilling experience and goes well with the well-balanced cup of Mocha.The bread got hard very quickly though, and the coffee cup was relatively tiny but those can be addressed by better service.The impressive food and airy outdoor seating makes this place a solid option for a very expensive but delightful breakfast.

Quick breakfast or sit n chill and work - this is your place at Ribbon Mall in Moto city. A little cramped up due to social distancing and safety measures have taken! Food is decent, delicious! Coffee I guess is overrated!

An average restaurant by my experience, Cafe situated on the street side on the Ribbon Mall. A number of table facing the road. The restaurant has very high ceilings and the interior is ok.The tables are laid out close to each other and the seats are wooden and very uncomfortable to sit. I was very happy to finish my meal and get out.The food is not so great and Coffee was not bad.The service was quick and staff are very good and welcoming.There is no washroom inside the cafe, but one has to enter the Mall to use the toilets there.There is a ramp for wheelchair access.

I love this place. The food is always yummy and full of flavor. For breakfast I recommend anything with eggs and/or avocado. The hot and cold beverages are solid. You can’t go wrong with Friends Avenue Cafe. I’m a fan of this location and the other one! The French toast is very good, but feels like more like a dessert rather than a French toast for breakfast.

Friends avenue had a very joyous and welcoming environment. The decor was amazing as was the friendly service. We ate the refreshing Acai bowls that were packed with nutritious fruits and nuts as well as their signature Acai paste, these bowls are the perfect breakfast to help you power through the day. We also had the Satay chicken salad which was a standard fresh salad complimented with 2 juicy chicken satay sticks on top.

Ive been a regular customer of the motor city branch for as long as I remember, I absolutely love the atmosphere and most importantly the staff, they are all very friendly, loving and the service is just amazing.The food is very nice and I am very pleased with the new menu, if youre a sweet tooth and love tiramisu - give it a try it tastes amazing, and so does the carrot cake and the Nutella cookie.As for the food I am not a brekkie person but I love the Boss Burger with sweet potato fries and the French dip sandwich as well.But honestly, what makes me come to the cafe as regularly as 3-5 times a week is seeing friendly and welcoming faces that will treat with love and whom love their jobs.

I love it! The food is excellent! Fresh, very tasty and the price is really correct. When I can choose, I choose Friends Avenue.The only little negative things is that sometimes, the service is a bit long, but when you receive your plate, it worth waiting for it!

To be honest this place is by far one of the best places to have a delicious meal, the staff are lovely and very friendly, the vibes are amazing and most importantly the food is just WOW!

Super tasty food and good service! The bread is to die for and the kale was on point. My chai latte was a bit tasteless, mainly milk and no spice but it was incredibly beautiful to look at. Will comeback because the menu looks amazing.

Fancy a cafe where you can spend some time catching up with friends over some board games, a solo time with a book or perhaps your laptop while indulging in some good food and heavenly acai? Then friends avenue is just the place !Been here twice now, and both times had the nutty professor acai bowl with almond butter which has the most amazing blend of nuts, goji berries and other healthy superfood seeds! Definitely a healthy indulgence. Check the pic to see the bowl.They have a good breakfast selection as well . We the Mexican eggs and truffle mushrooms which were both served on sourdough bread.

I come to Friends Avenue Cafe every week and it has been one of my favorite spots for a friends/family brunch in Dubai, the ambiance is great and the staff is delightfully warm and welcoming, i always enjoy my conversations with sunshine especially and her top notch service, she is always attentive and me and my party always leave Friends Avenue with big smiles. Some of my favorites on the menu: bacon & kale eggs benedict and the salmon bowl, pro tip: ask for sunshine to recommend you something new if you can’t decide, her recommendations have never disappointed ^_^Be advised, finding an indoors table on the weekends right away may be difficult during peak hours (~noon) so you may have a wait time of 20 minutes or so if it’s busy

Delicious food and great service

So let me start by saying I love this place and it’s wonderful menu. My wife and I would almost always have had a meal from here weekly.But…..About 3 weeks ago we were there after our gym and we were very hungry and eagerly waiting for our order. While we were waiting my wife realized that the chef inside was using his are hands to move the burger from one plate to the other. I was a bit shocked but thought it was just a mistake , we are only human in the end and we can forget sometimes, but then the chef continued to work with his bare hands for a good 20 minutes while I’m monitoring from a far. Shocked, I call the waitress and show her the chef and his bare hands and tell her I no longer want my food as I’m not sure of the cleanliness of it.In a time where viruses are plaguing the world , I would have assumed that food places would take extra care of the rules. I hope this was a one day thing but it had resulted in us having no faith In the food and as such never going to a place truly lovedTo add to that the waitress understood and I insisted on paying for at least the drinks we had. She graciously told me that I don’t need to pay for anything and took my name and number so as to have management call me. 3 weeks later I still have no phone callLast thing I wanted was to write a horrible review about a place , especially one I loved , but it is also my social duty to warn other people from these mistakes and to please be safe and take care

Brewed coffee was the highlight! Its average and refillable. I went here with the family for breakfast. Food was average, could have been better. Guacamole was with bell pepper (??) and sour (too much lemon) and the Kale was too salty. Eggs were done correctly.Atmosphere and service were above average. Love the decor! Its kids friendly venue and parking was easily available.They advertised snapp card loyalty program, but its not working.

I enjoy having a meal here with friends. Its a pleasant environment with Covid screens separating tables. It is very pleasant to sit outside when the weather is cooler. There is underground parking available within the complex.

Dear Friends Avenue,This place was the place I worked and held meetings in. I was offended today by being asked to get up from my table and forced to move to another by one of the staff members “just in case costumers came” because I was 1 person and the table was for 5. So this happened after she punched in my order. I told her id move once a table was free on my left side she said no you have to move now “in case” someone comes. I told her id leave she went straight to the cashier and cancelled my order.A staff member called Sunshine was very nice and she apologized alot but I am still offended by how rude the other one was.Its Dubai , you leave a cafe you find a 100 other ones. Surely, ill never go back, even though I live close by.

You can never go wrong here.Service is great. Food is amazing. But they have to have put their prices up a bit. Nevertheless, still great and affordable.Food is well presented and fresh tasting. A great place to visit for breakfast or lunch.

My favorite spot in the Motor City and Sports City neighborhood. Very yum breakfast with several healthy options at a fair price and the cozy decoration is a plus. All of their sourdough toasts are great, and their shashuka was really delicious although its a bit different than the traditional one. Staff is also friendly and if not too busy, pretty attentive. Only downside is the noise from the autodrome, and it gets crowded in the weekend after 11.

Really a nice welcome and they take care of you. We appreciate the service and the food is great. Lots of nice simple dishes that are tasty. Try the Burger menu. Lots of great options! And the salads ... very nice. We also like the coffee a lot and always take one to go. Maybe a bit over priced, but not on all menu items. As the place is close to my barber, I always stop by and the service is consistent.

A really nice venue to enjoy breakfast on a Friday. Healthy, tasty food options and good coffee served in a hip, contemporary setting. The only downside was that service was a little slow, however, to be fair they were absolutely packed and incredibly busy. Definitely worth a visit...

Cute place to go to as a study/work place. If you’re going to order the rose lemonade, be aware that’s it’s actually a fizzy drink. I would go back and try their food next time.

A nice place for lunch or breakfast. Seats 80 people (60 inside and 20 outside). Very similar feel and concept like Tom & Serg / Limetree cafe. Family friendly and the team very interactive with the kids. We had the beef noodle salad and eggs. Would recommend the salad which was beautiful. They also have a branch in JLT.

Good food tried it for breakfast with my kids and they loved the hot chocolate and the cheesecake for dessert.They also had colours for to keep the kids busy. And they have the Emirates Platinum discount too

Lovely place, specially for the breakfast. They have an array of delicious dishes with are perfectly cooked and nicely garnished. The location is fantastic, its just near to go carting track, hence you can listen to the roaring car engines as well as the cafes music. Must visit.

The cold brews are... an equired taste lol the one with grapefruit I had to try and it wasnt bad. It just wasnt like anything Ive ever had! I only my acai bowl from here!, definitely recommend the homemade brownies acai BEST ACAI EVER!!!!!!!! Trust me ! The price is amazing for the portion you get unlike other acai places that charge you so much per topping. Just go!

Food is amazing. Came so late though.

I ordered 3 eggs over easy, they brought me sunny side up with one of the eggs overcooked. Waiter suggested I eat the remaining ones and leave the overcooked egg. Manager comes and apologizes and assures me that the chef actually knows how to fry eggs and really knows how to make over easy. 20 minutes later, they got me even more overcooked eggs (picture attached this time). Long story short, I had french toast (on the house)

What a great spot, friendly staff, good breakfast, their chai latte was homemade which I am not a fan of chai but this was good... Nice decor very relaxed... I would def be a regular here since its also close to where I live...keep it up guys.... (I had the tricolour egg benedict and Acai bowl)

Food is good and very tasty. Serving of food was slow. The food came out at different times. After 35 mins we were told one of the items we ordered was no longer available, after 2 dishes were already served. Staff were very apologetic and were professional.
