If you have the money to burn for an excellent brunch experience, this is the place to be.It can get very crowded on weekends during brunch hours. To take advantage of outdoor sitting, you need to be here during the winter.Customer service is great and the food is prepared almost instantly. I removed 1 star due to a total lack of affordable options. Easy to think its all a bit overpriced

Eggspectation is always one of my favorite breakfast spots in Dubai Marina. You will always receive excellent customer service. DJ our waiter was great and very attentive. The manager came by our table to be sure our experience was great. I ordered the Old Bay Benny Crab Cake. It was delicious. The food came out very quickly as well. If you want a great spot by the beach and near local shopping. This is a great restaurant within that area. Please note in my picture I had already started eating my meal.

Nice place in JBR with a view to the beach, it had a very generous serving ( the yogurt was big and the toast came with salad or French fries) . I asked for a grilled cheese and I like it very much. Would visit again

Nice location. Right by the sea in JBR. Breakfast is stylish more American than European or Asian. Variety of egg specialties good for breakfast. Have tried a few delicacies but definitely portions are larger for single person. Good for share. Staff friendly and there is a nice open area but can be full so try to go earlier. I do not think they take reservation

Went here for breakfast. The menu has a lot of really good options. The staff is very helpful and kind. The food was very fast, actually it was so fast that the food was kind of cold. I know it sounds weird but it felt like most of it was already prepared and just put together. But that’s not to say that it was bad, it was still good. I will be visiting again to try other options on their menu.

Pretty good breakfast. Had crab eggs Benedict and a waffle. Both were pretty tasty. Oddly, the waffle was cold, so I think that they are pre-made and sitting on the side waiting to go. Flavors were good, though. Also, awesome view of the beach from here!

I went there for an early morning breakfast and enjoyed it. The place opens at 7, so the early risers are covered. Instead of the usual coffee, I opted for green mix juice and loved it. Paired it with omelette. The food was really good. Only issue was that the portion of fries was too much and I could not finish it. So for next time I am gonna request them to skip the fries.Other than that, the service was prompt, staff well covered (in mask, face shield) and amazing view. You can also go for a quick walk along the beach once you are done!

We liked the decor/presentation of food at this place. Decent one with both indoor and outdoor seating arrangement. Excellent food. Veggie Omlet, Yummy !!!, I do not remember having such a Jumbo Omlet before. Also the Vegetarian Pizza was perfect. This is located along side the beach walk and very near to the Cinemas. Pocket friendly. They deserve all stars for food and their Service. Good One.

The saumon on the crostini was very good, but the bread was hard like a stone and too thick. The chicken bathed in the sauce and the blue cheese sauce was terrible. The Burger was fine, but the salt was missing. Nicely decorated but not very functional: the plate for the chicken was not right and the knife not sharpen. The stuff, however was very kind.

Went there 2 days in a row for breakfast while staying in JBR. I was pleasantly surprised by the food quality, portions and customer service. Enjoyed their cheese toastie and pancakes. Chicken sandwich was alright too. Recommended for breakfast. 10/10

Definitely did NOT live up to my eggspectation! Service was good, and they could make a perfect poached egg, and food looked good, but that is where it ended. Ordered the Smoked Salmon Benny....there were very little salmon, and the hollandaise was way too tangy. Also ordered the Spicy Polenta Benny. Disaster! Polenta was dry and close to inedible and the spinach was maybe half a leaf. Very dissapointed.....besides that, it was all much too expensive!--------So I wrote the above about a month ago and restaurant was very quickly in responding asking me to contact them...which I did. NO RESPONSE! CLEARLY ONLY FOR MARKETING THAT THEY OFFER TO DISCUSS THE POOR REVIEWS. VERY POOR

Tried this quite pricey & much over hyped breakfast place on the basis of reviews & ratings. Ambiance & views are very nice as its located at JBR near to opposite flying cup.Lets come to the breakfast.Was served with some breads,jam & butter as starter.In juices we ordered Perfectly pink & fresh Grape fruit juice. Both were quite refreshing.For mains ordered Eggspectation Omelete & Uneggspected. Both were good in taste not some extraordinary omeletes. Serving sizes were okay but the main things which are omeletes were quite small as compared to other places. Seems like they made just 1 or 2 eggs omelete which should be atleast 4 eggs considering the price of each dish. Other than that both dishes were over filled with potato chips. Uneggspected has omelete with a tenderloin steak which was also okay not upto the mark.Service of staff was really nice & they kept asking again & again.Value for money 3/10Quality of food 6/10Service 10/10

We visited Eggspectation this morning. The food was delicious, but the service was even better. We had a really friendly waitress, Lovely, who gave her honest recommendations on the menu and helped us choose a nice selection for brunch. I will happily visit again during my stay in Dubai :)

Awesome brunch spot in JBR / Dubai Marina. Went here twice during our week long vacation. Juices were fresh and flavorful while the omelets were top notch. Much better than our hotel breakfasts’ we had had. We especially liked the Mykonos Omelet. Staff was great and very prompt. I highly recommend.

Our second visit to Eggspectation this week! The food was once again very tasty and very nicely presented. The restaurant was quite when we arrived but soon became busy by the time our food arrived (I’m not surprised, this place is great!)If you want a nice breakfast/brunch out, you should definitely consider Eggspectation. I haven’t tried lunch or dinner but I can imagine it’s equally good 👍(It should be noted that there is no baby change facility in this restaurant)

Horrible customer service!Beware: there is no possibility to book a table for breakfast during weekends. While the waiting list sounds more reasonable providing the number of customers trying to get in, the restaurant refuses to add to the queue by phone. So the only option is to come over there, have your name added, and then wait outside (no, there is no place to hide from sun) until you get seated. They will call you, if you walked to a nearby shop to escape from heat, BUT they cant just add you if you call from you car being even on the parking two minutes away.Sounds simple, but completely infeasible for the restaurant to implement.Where would you go upon a conversation with a restaurant, which refused to queue you by phone? Of course to another place.Curious how the restaurant management will try to screw up, hiding by its policies that dont allow bookings nor adding to the queue, which is nonsense.Id say it doesnt deserve a star, but it wont be fair as the food wasnt that bad during my past (and certainly the last) visit, even though the staff seemed only waiting you to leave while you still chewing the last bits.Hence one star.To note, there are many cafés with good food in the city which are loyal to customers.

I visited today with family for breakfast at jbr. the ladies stewards at jbr is super nice but one of the male staff was arrogant and rude. Your customers,are paying good money to be treated respectfully and there is no reason for being rude for no reason. Please explain your male staff to learn some basics of hospitality. If you disrespect your loyal customers , they will never come back.

Easily my best breakfast place in Dubai. The portions are huge and the ambience is fantastic. Go to the JBR branch if you want beach views and a busy restaurant. Go to City Walk if you want a more relaxed vibe. Either way, the quality is top notch with friendly staff. DJ was our server at JBR and I was really impressed by his proactiveness and friendliness.

These guys make a SICK BREAKFAST! Healthy portions and surprisingly affordable prices, considering its at JBR.It can get packed on a Friday morning, but the staff is so nice and accommodative. They had us at a table in under 15 mins which was really appreciated.Lovely food, great service, and a stunning location! What more could you ask for?

A very nicely and conveniently located restaurant. It is just few steps away from the beachThe food is tasty and of good quality. But, I felt like the portions are quite big, or American size, as they call it. So you might want to order a plate to share and leave some space for pancakes. The atmosphere and staff are very enjoyable and friendly. I paid 100 dirhams for a breakfast plate and a coffee.. Felt that it is a little overpriced for place as casual as this.

Fantastic all day breakfast, very vast selection of poached eggs, coffee and natural smoothies/juices. Smoked salmon Benny is to die for and also try Canadian coffee. Has a lovely terrace on the beach and indoor seating area. It gets quite busy over the weekend but the wait time isnt very long 20-30 minutes on a super busy day. The service was excellent. Best breakfast place in Dubai, highly recommended!!

I came here for brunch and it did not disappoint one bit. The decor of the restaurant is adorable. They have inside and outside seating, there was a wait for the outside seating so we opted for sitting inside. The food was amazing. I ordered eggs and pancakes with a side of potatoes and bacon. The pancakes were so fluffy and tasted amazing. My friend got the chicken and waffles and it was so nice. The chicken is more nugget style but the breading is so flavorful! Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant!!

The food is good, but the service is amazing!.... as a non smoker, I loved how they had a separate outdoor area for the smokers. The manager was really attentive. My friend did not really like her eggs, he immediately came to our table, apologized and offered to make them again! Will definitely visit again when i come to Dubai.

We love our breakfast and from time to time our dinner here.Weve been going since they opened many years ago (6-7 if Im not wrong). The service is super quick, the food tastes great and the staff are super friendly and helpful.

I have a toddler and it is often uncomfortable going places because he loves to scream and becomes restless very easily. The staff made us feel so welcome and went above and beyond with the service. I was actually able to finish my meal! I loved them.

Located at the heart of JBR, Eggspectation is a busy busy restaurant. We had to wait for 25 minutes before getting a table for breakfast. The food was great and the portions were bigger than expected. Presentation of the food was nice. Coffee could have been better.Tables outdoors are placed quite close to each other. You are part of the conversation people are having next to your table and vice versa.

Delightful meal, you can choose to be naughty or nice here with a big selection.Decent size and you can order sides or customise your order.It isn’t cheap though, expect standard Dubai prices.Went with the Bravocado with a side of asparagus. Filled me up nicely.Ample seating with smoking and non smoking sections.Bathrooms were well maintained too.If you eat here at night you’ll see the fireworks which started at 830pm. That was during January which is their cooler period.

I’ve been to this place twice during my quick gateway. I already miss it! I’ve tried those two dishes and they’re so yummy. What I like about their food is how light it’s and you get to taste every ingredient! Nothing is overpowering. One downside though, their bacon doesn’t live up to the standards of the restaurant. Peace!

Second time, both times had to wait which is a good sign. You leave your name and you can walk around JBR so that is not an issue. The staff and service are great. The omelets selection is very tasty and sizeable (US diner style) and the varied customer base provided a nice ambience.

The best experience we have about this place is the waiter DJ. He was attentive, gentle and explained the menu and suggested alternatives genuinely. Lately you dont come across such service unless it a high end restaurant. Throughout our stay he attended all the tables with the same manner.My food was okay but the kids loved their crepe and waffles. My husband loved his blue stake sandwich.

I really dont get the hype !! I was recommended the restaurant by multiple people so finally decided to give it a go... In short ... Not worth it.The taste was bland , but not in a way salt and pepper could fix , but just something you wouldnt want to eat.I cant NOT recommend it , as everyone has their own tastes, but it wasnt for me.

Unfortunately the restaurant did not meet my egg-spectations, neither was it egg-semplar. This was not a great a egg-sample of high quality food. The coffee was quite watery, so I can only assume it was made with instant powder? If not, then poorly made. The high rise pancakes were made well, however, the bacon and sausages alongside them were over cooked. Staff were polite but the food was unfortunately not to the same standard.

A great place to have breakfast beside the sea. Very busy in the morning, expect some 10 minute as waiting time. Great service; DJ served us today, he was very helpful and pleasant. We had tried the classic egg Benedict and Eggespectation omelette and both were delicious. We ended with classic pancakes and that gave us the sweet which we were craving. Must try indeed.
