Very good place for the relaks. I like spend morning time on the beach.

Always our favorite place when it comes to night swimming and chillin. Already loved this place the first time I went here 3 years ago and since then, I keep on coming back. I love how they change from time to time. Its a great place for relaxation - be it a pool or beach swimming or just pure drinking sessions with friends in their new Barastiland.

As always barasti is the best place/pool to go if you want to relax. have live music dg, very alive atmospher.happy that we went thursday noon time because its so crowded yet. my absent to work today is very worth it.i will defenetely go back here again. even my mom wants to go too.

One of the best pool bar and beach ⛱ in Dubai.I love this place. The DJ the location the pool the restaurant inside is all perfect.Only thing is the pool is crowded all the time.Its full so if you avoide weekend and go on weekday it will be perfect and we also have happy hour discounts if you go before 7pm.You can go to beach if you want and later have dinner drink 🍸 and leave.You can spend a quality time here.

Last weekend, after we had a fun yacht party afternoon around Atlantis, The Palm Island and Burj Al Arab, we went with 10 friends to Barasti Beach with the plan to end our day in a nice and joyful way. 9 of us, including me, where allowed to go in. Our African friend, however, couldnt enter, because his Emirates ID was expired. Remarkable, because just before he tried to enter, our European friend didnt even had to show her Emirates ID to the security at the entrance.That night Barasti Beach not only lost my respect (they will not care), but also my money (they will care). Because thats us, you know: if one of us cant enter, no one will enter. And for me personally: I will never enter again.

My whole experience at Barasti was passable. Though its a great and fun place to hang out with your friends, the food experience was not upto the mark.Being a foodie, i strive to find the best food, whereever i go. Beef XXL hotdog was ok and there wasnt much vegetarian options in the menu, but the chicken wings were great.Overall it is a great place, if you look to party and dine as well.Their service was good too.

Used to be the place. But now, and Im not even exaggerating you could sit for an hour before a waiter think to ask you if youd like to order something. Which is very surprising as they dont charge fees for pool and beach access, and food and drinks is how they make money. Management should re-train their waiters on politeness and hospitality

In general - the place is really great! It’s a perfect place to relax and enjoy the vacation vibe. Atmosphere is really relaxed and you feel comfortable.Another question is service. If you want to order something - it’s really a struggle. By the time you finally manage to order - you might no longer want it. And then you have to wait until your order is ready. We were waiting for around an hour for the food. The food itself was really good, surprisingly. But the waiting times...I went twice to ask for it, because one hour is definitely too much. Not to mention that this food was supposed to be a beer snack (and of course our beer was already over by the time we got the food). The beer actually was also not even cold (and it’s for the price of more than 10€). So yes, it’s a good place from beach perspective, but not as good as bar/restaurant.

Barasti is a racist place since they treat some people in good way and others in rude way especially the security guys. Also, when you order a drink, you have to wait 30 minutes as if they are bringing it from the factory. To sum up, if you go there, they will simply ruin your entire day so I just want to leave my review to genuinely warn people to stay away from this awful place .

Its a nice, lovely place to enjoy with friends. An outdoor seating area, right infront of beach gives a pleasant view. Lived in Dubai for 6 months now and every time I try Barasti the service is appalling!The staff by the beach bar are always slow, rude and extremely unhelpful.They don’t have any idea what customer service means, anything they can’t be bothered to do they don’t. Management are even worse, they will listen to a complaint, but change their story every 2 minutes to suit themselves.I’ve worked in hospitality for many years and if one of my bar managers ever treated customers the way I’ve seen them do multiple times here, I would have them sacked on the spot.I’ve even had the conversation before now where I’ve said to the bar manager if he thinks this is acceptable, I’ll ensure to leave a review… he said “go ahead, I don’t care”.I hope the general manager or owner one day get to read this and find out how much their staff care about the reputation of the establishment!

The best part is that they do it with a smile.I also noted that they return your change to the exact amount. Come at your own risk. The food is unhygienic. At the horizon lounge, we ordered a pizza and chunks of hair and string was cooked inside the pizza. My friend was pulling it out of her mouth while gagging. Management was extremely slow in addressing our issue. While waiting, I found an eyelash in the salad. I went up to the kitchen showing them this. After I stood and waited for nearly 15 minutes the manager, Himal, to come. When he came, he was trying to excuse the hair and string in the pizza saying it’s because the food is prepared outside. I had to negotiate for our food to be refunded and the manager was not prepared to try and offer any compensation for ruining our afternoon or making us wait for so long. Overall this place has horrible service and completely unhygienic food that is extremely expensive. Price doesn’t even guarantee you food safe to eat. Should be shut down.

Sorry guys but this is not a place worth calling „beach club“. it‘s basically a public beach with rusty old chairs and benches and no service. we felt super uncomfortable and left after 40 minutes. btw: they tried to serve ca 100 visitors with 2 waiters. the result: chaos. absolute no-go-place!

Baristi is amazing but this time the staff let me down .,my glass was empty for at least ten minutes and then I was approached at 8.03 pm and I asked about my happy hour beer and they said it was expired8pm.. usually good service in Dubai asks you for a last happy hour order. . I asked for the check and got out of there.

Whoever came up with the idea of Barasti was having a great idea day 👍 This place is huge, there is open bar area, pool bar and huge pool, and beach bar and of course a golden sand beach to go with it! Pretty easy to spend the day drinking, tanning and eating. End of the day it’s ex-pat social club and like everywhere in Dubai the drinks come with a price, but it’s a great place to meet people and enjoy life 🍹🍹🍹

In general it’s not bad place to chillIt’s cool that entrance is for free but also people are spending there for food and drinks so at least sand and sun beds can be more clean and these wooden table/boxes as well, full of dirty sand and ants and bugs 🤢Food up at the restaurant was good 😋 delicious..Good menu, friendly staff

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER YOU CAN RECEIVE IN DUBAIWent to this place after i checked out from my hotel to meet friends. My bag was checked and i explained that i had beverages which i couldnt throw away and if they had a place to keep my bag i would appreciate. The security rudely asked me to keep my bag outside somewhere in a shade which i found very inappropriate. I agreed to go out and find a place to keep my bag but it all started when the security at the entrance told me i was blacklisted and he wouldnt allow me in as long as he was working in that place. I found it rude and not the right way to speak to guests. I know the access is free but it doesnt mean we go there because we cant afford to pay. The management should train the security on how to communicate appropriately with the guests. I felt judged mostly because of my race and it was so wrong. Is this what the management trains the staff!!! I hope not and in every situation there is always a way to solve without being disrespectful to the guest. Hopefully i will still visit this place if the rude security unblack lists me from his book.

Atmosphere wise, it was great. Definitely one of the best beach out there where you could enjoy exclusivity. However, customer service is lacking. I was feeling really dizzy and so We ordered water. I said I need it now but the guy just keeps on nodding. I proceeded to the bar area and asked about the water, he responded by asking if I’m paid and I said yes, I’m just following up and I need it now coz of my dizziness. Then, I just said could he at least give me any drink, He asked for my band so i have to walk back, I came from the beach and so I didn’t want it to be wet. He gave me pina colada which still didn’t help. I had to rush to the bathroom because my eyesight is turning black. I already expressed so many times that I’m not feeling well. Later on, we saw our receipt and realized that the guy didn’t include the water in our bill. Which we clearly said we’ll buy the big bottle. Overall, They need to show more concern about the customer. I was about to faint but I can’t even have glass of water.

Yesterday i went to Barasti and I had a very bad experience from the beginning, it was my off day and they really ruined my off day mood, the entrance guard behavior was so disrespectful, rude, not welcoming and i came with my boyfriend and they keep insisting he is not my boy friend- i think the guard was the one who was making decisions who goes inside…how they welcome people is ready disgusting, their behavior is like they catch thief when they find one small water in my bag…

Absolutely most horrible customer service I ever received in my entire life. Avoid this place with All cost!!!!From rude, slow and blunt waiters to shockingly disgusting management.I went to have one last lovely beach day in Dubai with my partner. We order 3 round of drinks and when I switched my drink from wine to G&T, they brought me half a shot and when I requested to add the double shot thats on their menu with 10 AED and pay the extra bit as we had not paid the staff the full bill yet, waiter simply refused even we explained the situation and had not touched the drinks at all.We went to management and head of the bar, they treated us horribly saying that if we order once something we cant return it or change/ add to order anything. This has never happened in barasti before or any other venue in Dubai ( we lived here a year now).They were not apologetic and said that if we pay 40 AED extra they can fix me a new drink. I never experienced such a condencending customer service in my life. We left all our drinks even when we told the staff that this kind of customer service is unacceptable they simply walked away from us saying we dont care.This absolutely ruined our entire day and just want to leave my review to genuinely warn people to stay away from place that only does treat you poorly but will also ruin your day and make you feel like you are lucky for them even to serve you a drink that you are paying for.

The really worse flub that I seen!!!! Before was good but now thé service is very poor maybe cause they decrease the salary of their waiter. And following their mood they allow you or refuse the entrance even if you came there since long time. And they speak with you on a really rude and impolite way like if they are the only club!!! I am really not a fan. Beach bar......but loved by many.The drinks are flowing. The food is terrible and service is non existent.....I go as friends love it but for me it is no no no.....just never enjoy myself there....Maybe I am just too old for it all.

Vibrant beach bar with indoor and outdoor seating. Music is great all the time. You dont have an exact dance floor but plenty room to chill over music. A beer cost approx 55 aed. Kitchen closes at 00:30 and the bar at 1:30.Edit: visited for new year’19 and the party was lit.

It’s one of the coolest night life areas in Dubai. Right on the barasti beach. The bar has a indoor / out door sitting area with live music, dance, drinks and eating options. The outdoor pool is just awesome, can be seen in the pictures. They also have designated parking levels for this place. Great place must visit for couples and friends.

Barasti Beach is one of the finest and coolest places to visit and enjoy. The atmosphere is just so entertaining and fun and most of the times its packed specially thursday nights. The customer service is very slow and the prices are reasonable. Must visit place if you are visiting Dubai.

We had a plate of Nachos and both of us who shared it had an upset stomach immediately. We had the dish around 22:00 on 9th June 2019 and as of 23:55 on 9th June 2019, we are having bouts of bad episodes in the toilet. As we ate the guacamole from the Nachos we had a feeling it tasted weird but since it was Le Meridien/Barasti we assumed it cannot be bad. But little did we know that even Barasti/ Le Meridien is cheap and trying to make a quick buck by serving spoiled Food.I have visited Barasti at least 10 times and this is the first time we having such an experience. This is not acceptable. I will never be coming back to Barasti. I dont wanna pay money and eat spoiled food and suffer in the toilet.

Barasti was my regular stop for the past 13 years I heard stories of the bouncers at entrance of being racist but never experienced it until last night, they claim it’s couples and members evening but they allowed my friend in cos he was white and I was not, hence I was denied we tried to explain to the bouncer (short guy with tattoos) and he told my friend that we are not friends and accused me of tagging along just to get in. Anyway we didn’t argue and left but It was appalling and humiliating. Travelled to too many countries never been a victim of racism except at barasti. So be aware specially if you wanna go out in the evening. They just ruined our mood,evening and stressed us out .

The best time to visit is at 11:00 AM to 4:00PM on Fridays and Saturdays. Night will crowded. You will have decent crowd in the day time .

It is one of the 16 bar/ restaurants of the Westin / Meridien resort. Directly on the beach you can dance on the sand or in the pool ... open every day but Thursday and Friday are the best DJ nights. On the upper part u have a sport bar with live band well known by the expats. The price are around 10 eur for a vodka and 5 eur for a tonic.
