Ambience:Lovely place, both inside and outside sitting area is fabulous. Greenery, ducks and comfortable picnic style kind of tables . Overall a very charming and chill place to dine at.⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️Food:Food was really good, yummy, good portions and very reasonable in terms of price. The only issue in my opinion were the burger breads. The meat and fries were super delicious but the bread wasn’t as fresh as it should. I think if the quality of the bread is improved then the burgers would be one of the best in town. It was disappointing to see that low quality of a bread being used in a place that had decades of reputation and very loyal customers.⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️Service:Very attentive , even though the space is big and there are many tables both indoor and out there yet the service was very good and timely.⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️Overall:I’m a big fan of this place and have been going there for the past two decades. I really hope the standards stays up because many old residents have tons of memories in that place and dinning there brings back all those memories and that just adds to how special this place is.
Favourite Irish pub in town! Good staff, great food, and plenty of cats and ducks for entertainment. Never a dull moment at TIV.
The Irish Village - adjacent to the Tennis Courts and February Village - this establishment, in My personal view, is the epitome of simplicity. Simply the best. Been a regular here, at least a few times annually since the late 1990s. The ambiance and village set up is just amazing. The staff are friendly and not at all overbearing. And the food is just Mind blowing. Do not miss out on the Barbeque Chicken wings and the fish and chips. In the meantime, I am looking g forward to the next visit.
Good Staff.Less halal options though.Fish and Chips was amazing
Very nice shisha and music. Good place for a night out with friends to smoke shisha and for a round of drinks. Place is clean and staff are very good and services is also good. Definitely recommended. Please press like if you found my review helpful. Thanks.
It was a pleasure to be back ar Irish village after almost 3 years however I may say my burger wasnt as good as what it used to be. Additionally the fries were a lot cold. I mentioned it to the person serving us but he didnt seem to worry about that (i would have assumed that it would have been just a replace in this case but that didnt happen). Additionally the fact that the place seemed to have a lot of cats which i am allergic to. So wasnt the most pleasant experience
Went on a Tuesday evening. Very good service. Good food. Crispy pata was available ... we ordered it (Filipino thing) and it was large and good. Also a large fish and chips ... (never tried the mushy peas.) Overall as very nice ...
Good choice for any kind of small gathering, better variety of beers, and best open-air garden setting. Draft beer served in chilled mugs goes well with free-style conversation. Perfect for date night for couples and/or drinking buddies. Easily accessible via metro and a couple of minutes walk... Ample parking, and a safe environ to walk to shake off the buzz. Best time to visit is shortly after 9pm. But they are open so much earlier than that.
The place is quite vibrant! With nice music, and good options on drinks menu. However, I had gone with my girlfriends for ladies night on Monday. They did not accept the APC card discount although we had taken only one offer and the rest were from regular menu. We were ready to split the bills even. I believe management should look into this. Other than this we loved the place and will surely visit again!
Great for kids and off cause for the adults.Refreshing beer and yes its pub food... how I missed the London Pub food. If you are looking for fine dining then not the place. If you are looking for a great family day out, this is for you. You might even spot some ducks on the pond, and yes the turtles are loving the Irish life.
A for Ambience! In winter, the Irish Village is irresistible with its grassy knolls, duck pond and the occasional live performances. The ducks in fact walk around the tables, quacking amicably. Contented cats snooze in corners. As an animal lover, Im always happy to go here - and I dont even drink ; ) Oh, and their apple pie is amazing!
Just a really English pub. Love it, brilliant attentive service, good brews and absolutely delish food. Plus, during these troubled times they got a special AED25 deal on Amstel pints. Cant argue with that!Their Battered Calamari is absolutely to die for. And for those who eat pork, oh boy are you in for a treat. Their burgers are really well-made, juicy and just the right amount of messy/loaded.The ambience is the best part tho. Currently theyve got a pseudo-outside seating arrangement, with a bunch of tables in this air-conditioned tent structure with a bunch of TVs up showing sports highlights (and live games when available). Also, smoker friendly. If youre looking for a really good classy English pub experience (outdoor), Irish Village is as good as it gets for the price. Parking may be an issue during peak times outside of the pandemic period, but right now theres plenty spots around. (P.S. - Do not drink and drive!).Been going here ever since I could legally drink, and will be going until I leave Dubai.
One of my favourite places in town! Very relaxing ambiance, very good service and good food too. Love their Friday brunch and the live music.
Good food and good drinks. The Irish Village is a nice place to hang out if you want to grab some good drinks and some nice bites. The pricing is okay for the quality you receive.Unfortunately during current times, they start serving alcoholic drinks from 7:30pm onwards and not earlier. The time for receiving the food was quite high for the simplicity of it.All over I can recommend the place if you are planning on going out with friends.
One of the best Irish pubs in the world...the service the staff and the food is awesome...visiting the place after 5 years, nothing has changed much...cheers guys...wil be back soon
Lovely place, great open area
Great ambiance and pleasant outdoor wooden seating. Its like a mini irish out there.Food is amazing especially the buffalo wings. A beer costs around 42/-Special thanks to the live music and considering the song requests. Loved it
My favorite place to hangout with my girls. The ambience is amazing be it indoor or out. The food is amazing especially their wings. Their cocktails are really good too. Sitting outside gives a nice view of the water, the fountain with lots of greenery.
As the name suggests, its Irish themed pubGood place to hangout over the weekend and watch match if any.Sitting outside just beside the pond will be more fun during winters
I love the indoor drinks area. Perfect for drinks with friends even on summer. Staff are also amazing.
Superb place to hang out. Good ambience and customer service.
In 50 degree weather they didn’t allow us to entering to the bar’s indoor area with two toy size pups and they were overheating outside staying to nearly fainting outside we requested the waiter to let us to stay only for two minutes inside to cool down them but he refused certainly we didn’t understand what we ate because of our poor pups! At the bill payment I complained to the waiter for brutal attitude they had and his reaction was rude and worse even he didn’t felt sorry for these small dogs at all and didn’t apologize even!!! They just called it pet friendly place!!! BIG SHAME
Great Irish pub feel!fantastic food, awesome drinks, and a lovely ambience.
Excellent service, definitely recommend a visit
Amazing place to hangout. Reasonably priced food and beverages. Must try the chefs roast bundle. Live music is always an attraction here. The outdoor seating is more relaxing. Vast variety of food and beverages.Other interesting part is around the tennis stadium there are other restaurants and shisha options too.Until 9PM you could enjoy the party with children, however after 9PM children are not allowed. This place was able to attract a very decent crowd. It gets really attractive during the winter season as outdoor gets pleasant. Also they conduct number of seasonal events around the year like Christmas, st. PATRICKS DAY, Halloween, etc.
Attended a concert of Pakistani band “Junoon”.
Great place: live band, nature... And those cute ducks whos walking all around really make this atmosfera special.
✅Love the Christmas vibes.✅They have acoustic solo player to settle the mood.✅friendly atmosphere❎They dont accept entertainer during holiday❎food is 3.2 out of 5Overall - delighted
Nice chilled out place for drinks and bites, good service and nice atmosphere and ambience. The outdoor garden is also 👌🏼
Best outdoor ambiance on Dubai. A perfectly natural setting, including the feathered friends. For me, they could do better with the choice of food though.
Huge space with a chill vibe. There was happy hour discount on selected beers.
Still has its unique flair despite the covid situation. Food was amazing
One of the outside places where to go when the whether is good. There are multiple bars and coffees there
Love this place! Good beers and Environment! And you can go in bermudas... 😊😊😊
Food looks fantastic. But it does taste good tbh
“Biased, mean staff” - Didn’t even think of sitting further to give any review on food and beverage! It was our first time in Irish village. When we called for the reservation, we were said that we can just walk in. We were trying to settle in and there were a lot of staff members who could have made us feel comfortable by asking if we need help. Even after approaching a few of them, they were ignorant and rude! Highly unprofessional! I know the tables were open to choose , but you gotta welcome the guest with warmth. First impression is best impression right! We just walked out and btw there were a lot of staff members who were freely roaming around and didn’t even bother to either help us or stop us from leaving.Definitely a ’No’ for me, if you are looking for a customer friendly and unbiased place to hangout!
Food quality isnt what it used to be. Roasted chicked was just bland and boiled than being roasted. No flavours and sides were not.edible. Onion rings were way too oily However full marks for the choice of Traditional beers and outdoor seating
Nice place I like it 🙂👍🏻
Perhaps my favourite watering hole in the UAE. Staff are attentive and the delivery is quick. Ask for the roast of the day or the specials. The desserts are yummy, try the Apple Pie, Baileys cheesecake and the Banofee pie🤤. Pictures attached are the menu available only for the brunch days. They have an extensive menu for the weekdays.
It was relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere, staff were helpful and friendly. Loved the outdoor seating area, with the Irish features. Food was delicious and loved the cats.
My all time favorite. Fantastic atmosphere and finger licking good food.
Great hanging out spot and they have great outdoor seating. It might get too packed over the weekend and it’s first come first serve situation. They do have other options in the village for drinks and food. They do have happy hour deals over the week I believe
A really good place to chill out. the pork knuckles is really good. also, the happy hour has different beer types, for those who like dark beer or light beer
As the title suggests, well worth a visit for a few pints and a roast, particularly if the sport is on. Well done to Gareth from Limerick who provided typical Irish charm and made the visit that much more enjoyable. Excellent outdoor area that creates a real villagey atmosphere. Ill be back soon.
We came on a quiet afternoon and we’re pleased with the indoor decor, the ice cold Guiness draft, and even the bar food (angus meatballs with mash and scotch eggs). In the beginning they asked if we wanted to open a tab, which I didn’t feel the need to since we were just there for a quick lunch and one beer each. We were brought our beer and food but then I’m the middle of our conversation and eating we were approached and asked if we can pay, which was really weird and made me feel like I should finish up eating and leave already. The manager apologized for the incident but honestly, what’s done is done when it comes to customer service.
The appearance and scenery are wonderful! Spacious place for a single, couple, or group. Great place for some amazing photos. The food and service were a disappointment. Food lacked bold flavors, but it looked great. When everything came to the table, we were so excited by the appearance, but the taste didnt live up to the delicious plating. Service was below average as we waited very long for our waitress to check on us and bring the bill, nor was she very polite. I will visit again to show the scenery to other, but I will not bring others here to eat.
Beautiful place to spend time with loved ones
Horrible brunch, horrible food, Ive had better at local cafeterias and rude/slow service despite it being empty. They also cheapen out on you despite you being a group of people, they bring kids sized portions for example 1 small slice of pizza and 1 piece of chicken ball. Also they try to cheapen out on you with the unlimited alcohol by forcing you to have mixers with it so you dont know how much alcohol theyre putting if any!No ac in the place either!
It wasnt quiet and beautiful if you were a fan of quiet evenings
One of Dubai oldest pubs, still fun to visit. Easy and simple place. Fish & chips 😁
Jam packed yet Covid related precautions in place. Lovely ambiance
We visited Irish Village on Halloween 2019. It was great. A decent Irish pub. There are couple places you can get a drink. There was a stage set that night for halloween and people were dressed up, which I was not expecting. It was really fun, next year definitely gonna dress up for Halloween. A bit far away if you are not living near Downtown but worth the trip. In cool seasons though. I generally prefer decent classic British / Irish pubs over fancy clubs and every place in Dubai I went labeled as Irish pub / Sports pub turned out to be a club after some point. So this place for me is now the ultimate Irish Pub with great atmosphere and it is my go to beer place, if I am up for the long trip since I live in Marina. Highly reccomended though, had a lovely night there.
A great place to spend the evening. Right next to the tennis stadium. Be aware that Dubai is not a dry emirate so expect people to be drinking and smoking. A number of restaurants to choose from. Kid friendly area though.
Nice atmosphere and has outdoor seating as well. Try the authentic Irish bread from the menu.
This is a very cool pace I always visit when in Dubai. Great beer and great food. Prices are a bit ridiculous but same as everywhere else. I was offered to open a tap when buying my drinks and was asked to leave my credit card with the waiter in order to do that, which I believe is borderline illegal, so I just ended up paying every time I got a drink.
Before it was so famous place now days there is nothing
One of the best in town. Great food great beer. The service is a little bit off, thats why it gets four stars.
Really amazing pubThe service was really good, and the drinks were deliciousPrices are averageRecommended
Awesome place... no words to say...
Spent 2017 New Years Eve here and the place didnt disappoint. The vibe was amazing, they have great shows lined up for the following year so it definitely has a lot to offer. Good food and a variety of drinks to choose from. Its a fun place to hang out with friends for an event or even to catch up on a football game over the weekend. The location is also easily accessible for those who are living at a property near the hotel. Definitely a must visit when staying in Dubai.
Very nice place for freinds gathering and couples dining ... preferable visiting season for visiting is winter as it hase very nice restaurants that has outdoor seats.
Pretty everywhere. so alive and colorfull. christmas decorations everywhere in the place
Not only the supervisor is very rude, the carelessness of the staff towards serving customers is remarkable! Majority of the staff (not all to be fair) are leaning on the side ignoring new walk-in customers, rather then welcoming them as any normal place would do! They make you feel they will feed you for free and you need to beg to be served...Customers are going around to find a table or add more chairs or to club tables or to clear empty dirty plates from previous visitors to ensure their space.. and the staff, under the presence of the supervisor and manager, are holding corners and not being involved in this process as if it is not part of their job responsibility!Table of six is held by one person having a pint where a group of people are searching for a table to dine, in hospitality language, this is called lost business due to not managing the space properly, but who pays attention to customers’ needs? right? They hide after “free seating policy” which in other words mean: “I don’t want to do my job and advise on a table will be cleared soon or I don’t want to serve you and split a table from a big one and accommodate you or I careless if you find a table or not!” That’s the answer you get from the staff and supervisor at a place supposed to be treating customers equally and implement the basics of customer service! But the carelessness is cascaded from management to staff, and we can’t blame the staff if their manager and supervisor are leading by example the worst dining experience and poor customer service! It’s time for this place to have a renovation, a management renovation in my opinion..N.B. A sign at entrance indicates not more than 8 people per table are allowed.. but when you go in there are tables with more than 10-12 a time with no masks what so ever.. it’s a clear violation of rules but again; Carelessness is the title of this post!
A great outdoor location. The seating is wooden benches which is not comfortable if you are going for a long sit. Pricing on the expensive average. Otherwise a good live band and chill place to be.
Great place to chill and spend time with family and friends. I love the food range. Very limited for vegetarians like me. But I love the ambience and your kids will enjoy. Go between 11: 00 AM - 4:00 PM on weekends.
