Casual cool outdoor beach facing restaurant. View is great, food delicious - we had mixed grill, catch of the day and watermelon salad, amazing staff in restaurant - everything on top level.

We visited Wavebreaker during our visit to the Hilton beach & pool day.It is located beach/pool side and has a huge amount of outdoor seating. Wavebreaker has an amazing vibe and plays all big football games on huge screens. It has a full bar and an extensive menu selling burgers, fish n chips, fish platters etc.Weve visited Wavebreaker twice – the first time we ordered the fish platter to share however was disappointed with the catch of the day as it was a very small, un-common fish and definitely not enough for two people (however the menu doesnt say it is for sharing so it was probably our own fault).The second time we visited we both went for the fish n chips and it was absolutely delicious. It was so tasty were thinking of going back a third time just to eat it!We enjoyed the day, chilling on the high tables overlooking JBR beach (and the big wheel etc), it was the most relaxing experience. The waiters also made us feel very welcome and dealt with any issues we may have raised professionally, drinks arrived quickly and food was well presented.Overall we had a fab time here and would highly recommend it for any holiday-makers or even residents of Dubai!Instagram: @journeywithuss

Sun lounges were comfortable- a bit expensive tho if you are not a hotel gues but look at the view you’re getting, stunning sunset and the beautiful ain Dubai 🤩🤩

A great place to unwind. Has a pretty view of the beach and you could see the Dubai’s Ferris Wheel. We bought a beer and Ismael was very kind to deliver it to where we seated. He’s very attentive to the guests.

If you would like to grab some beers and mojitos facing you the beautiful beach of JBR, this Wavebreaker can be the best option. With so many seats and tables aligned in front of the beach, you feel so comfortable here tasting your favorite drinks and snacks. Lovely place at JBR!

Amazing calamari. Great cold drinks. Poke bowl was tasty. In fact, good food in general. I wasn’t a fan of the Caesar salad, and the manager gave me another meal. Normally not a big deal, but not the norm here in Dubai and was really appreciated. Definitely coming back due to the customer service from the manager. Well done!

My first time was about 2 years ago.Was looking forward go there again and I did just 3 days ago. The lamb grill is great.I had my lamb chops with my wife. It was a great time together. Will go there again anytime.

Location is really nice but on our recent visits service is always very slow and the food quality can be poor. The children’s vegan bolognese is very sweet and with the smallest amount of vegan mince it should be called tomato sauce and spaghetti.

One the the worst experience for lunch in Dubai, scrap food, waiters completely unaware about what is going on around them, two Smallest and lightest Aperol Spritz ever had in my life billed 150 Aed!! Get away from this place if you want enjoy you day at the beach

Very disappointed by the service. Utterly slow.One guy on our table waited an hour for his burger, we waited 45 minutes for whatever we ordered, food or drinks.

One of the best places to unwind on a weekend.. The place is stunning with white sands, clear blue waters and the view of the giant wheel is terrific. The food here is lovely, highly recomend the burger and fish and chips. They can easily sit up to 40O ppl here. Such a vibrant atmosphere.

Food was beyond delicious seating area was perfect 👌🏽 had the couches right by the large screen tv enjoyed this large plater with a few family friends definitely worth the visit although service could have been better ! Fries came cold and server wasn’t paying much attention to us other then that was a great experience

Great spot for evening coffee or beer , great ambiance super chilled if you wanna catch up with friends. The only down point was the service its SUPER SLOW , we had to wait for 20 minutes to get menu after asking three times. If they can improve their serving the place is a great spot .

After a visit yesterday, this place has 0 professionalism. After it took us forever to order, we found a long white hair in the food. To find a waiter to remove it, it took them ages. No manager came to check on us after the complaint.After this, one staff member was using the toilet and went out without washing her hands. This is not acceptable! This is a hilton brand!!To complaint i asked for the duty manager and as if i didn’t tell him a thing, and ad if this is not a food safety and hygiene breach.This place is a no go!

Service needs improvement and the staff need to take note of the arriving guests. Atmosphere is very relaxed & nice setup by the beach with lovely views of Dubai eye.

Wavebreaker in located in the Hilton JBR hotel outdoor area. The atmosphere is lovely facing the beach. Great place to have a drink either by the pool or by the beach while enjoying a nice view. It is also a good place to eat and/or have a beer while watching a football match on the various screens.

I stayed 4 years in sky tower.Best location to enjoy city life at very affordable price and management office is so kind and supportive to tenants. thanks a lot.

An amazing beachside bar + grill. Offers great view of and good access to The Beach. It also has the advantage of being located close to the The Hiltons Pool. We didnt order enough to comment on the menu. The service was really great and a special shoutout to Deepti who hosted us well.

Nice place overall. Has a good view at sunset. Service was a bit slow and beer was a bit off. Either it was end of the barrel or mixed with water I cant tell for sure. Might not be like this normally though, it was a Friday afternoon and the place was busy so can be a one time thing. It is a nice place to chill, take a swim to cool off when you are overwhelmed by heat and go on with your drinks. However in the peak summer time I dont think it will be suitable for that. Also a nice place for evening too for having a couple of drinks. Not loud and over crowded.

Beautiful location and ambience but service was very slow. We were there at happy hour but could not take advantage of the offer as the second round of drinks came 45 minutes after and no longer fell under the happy hour period. We were charged the full price and had to query it later. The female waitresses who delivered the drinks were unfriendly and ignored me when I tried to place another order. The red wine was served chilled. Our food sat for an hour before it was cleared away. I’ve never experienced such poor service at such a beautiful place. Very disappointing

The seating adjacent to the pool is perfectly designed for a leisure time. Although theres limited beers in the menu, the food was commendable. Dont forget to order the French fries first up!

Taking advantage of customers. After spending all day at the Hilton spending on food and drink, we moved 20-30m from our sunbeds to the Wavebreakers. We ordered more drinks and they insisted we order food again, even though we had just eaten (with them). We had the receipt for buying food but we were told its as a new bill so we need to order food again. The manger not only insisted on us ordering food again, he made us order a meal each. Not acceptable and theyve lost customers who have been staying and spending there for years.

Not so many drinks to choose, call the waiters several times.

Information is incorrect. Happy hour is not daily as is reported here. Ive been this evening, Saturday, shortly after 5pm only to be advised by the bar staff that there is in fact no happy hour on a Saturday! There is at the hotels Irish bar, McGettigans. They are both within the Hilton hotel complex. The very helpful bar staff said hed advise his manager about the incorrect information. Somehow I doubt Im the only one that had been misled by the information and that nothing has been done about it. So be warned.

Yeah, will not be recommending this place. The one star is for the helpful staff but in terms of the menu, the atmosphere and decor, the food, definitely needs a refresh. Just to give you an example, they were out of milk for the coffee. Let alone it was chilly and they didn’t have many heaters with gas since the refill didn’t come that day .. ha?!It’s a sad place since the first days of JBR before the pavilion opened up. They need to really redesign and improve the menu, especially since they have one of the best views into Bluewater Island.

They expanded their club at JBR beach and service in that area is terrible. Only one waiter trying to serve to the customers in sweat and naturally it takes forever to order and receive anything. And for this level of poor service it is heavily overpriced.

If you are very relaxed and dont mind waiting for service its great. Food, drink and Shisha is all a decent level.....however, if you get itchy with an empty glass waiting for a refill, this place may well frustrate you every round.

First night we went great food quick service and the place was busy! Second time we went service was so slow there was hardly anyone there. And the food was not as good as the first time and smaller portions.

Quite possibly the most expensive and worst place to eat in Dubai , you can get the same food for 1/3 of the price if you eat in your hotel. Added to the fact that the service is terrible. Avoid if you like your wallet ........

Was the best beach bar in JBR but has not taken into account its regular loyal patrons. Driven prices up and service is slow as not enough staff. After almost 12 years i have to say its sad to see. Profit today does not guarantee profit tomorrow.........

Had an amazing experience in Wave breaker at Hilton, our water Vsakh was great at checking if we need anything else and was very friendly.

This Bar seems in a time warp. Needs to modernize beginning with glassware, cocktails and bartender training. Overpriced. Redeeming factor is the hospitable staff!

This restaurant is Amazing, great staff and lovely view on the beach with mouthwatering food, I would highly recommend the mixed seafood platter and the cheese burger as they are my two favorite dishes.
