The only way to visit the famous Burj Al Arab Hotel is to have a reservation in the hotel or hotel facilities, like a restaurant or a lounge.We had a couple of drinks and starters, oyster and foie gras. The oysters were very fresh, and the foie gras was very tasty.

My stay in the hotel wasn’t 7 star I must admit , maybe would of scrapped 5 star due to the building design and spacious suites.When it comes to food, this restaurant exceeds expectations . 100% luxury , tasty and chef is really talented and you can see the efforts displayed on the plates. The truffle selection on the menus is best in Dubai .Good to go in daytime for better views as in nighttime it’s pitch black outside .Highly recommended restaurant with pro staff !

We visited the Sky view Bar earlier in February with a booking made via our hotel. We had a minimum spend required but this is not an issue after a few drinks! Firstly, the approach and lobby of hotel are visually incredible. We made our way to the bottom of the main elevators before waiting for our lift. We were met by a member of staff at the Sky view bar level and taken to our seat, which although not at the window (waiting list) we could still see the lights of Dubai. Drinks were expensive, especially the specialty cocktails. We had snacks and ordered some fries while we had a few cocktails including the recommended Burj Royal. The staff were friendly and helpful and could not do enough. The choice of sandwiches and pastries was plenty and tasted amazing.The lack of space and seats in this area was inadequate and the timings should be staggered if everyone cannot be accommodated at the allocated time. SkyView Bar was perfect to make our palindrome date night memorable. Amazing View , Amazing Service.Although not having a window seat, we really enjoyed our visit and would definitely recommend it as an experience and a glimmer of an amazing hotel and skyline.

Celebrated my birthday here at the restaurant and had the 4 course dinner set. Service was attentive, but we felt rushed through our courses, as while we were spooning our food into our mouths, the next course arrived and we were asked if it could be served.We couldn’t really see anything where we sat as it was night and we were facing the ocean.I received a cake and a beautiful rose because it was my birthday. It was a lovely surprise.Not bad overall, but expected a better experience.

Myself and my husband went for a date night, just a few drinks and bar snacks...First impressions are good, the drinks and service were good, but the food was terrible! The only cheese platter Ive EVER been disappointed by, zero presentation, just some Brie and cheddar chucked onto an ugly plate with a couple of grapes! my kids couldve made it (not to mention, its not cheap) The dessert was this awful too, some sort of watery mango fluff, no flavour or presentation again, the only good thing was some fries which the waiter kindly got for me as I persuaded him to do so. I cant tell you how much of a let down it was, proper anticlimax. I wasted my evening and money

Afternoon Tea at Burj Al Arabs Skyview Bar on the 27th floor is an experience!I flipped through the detailed menu for a long time before I could decide. There were about twenty different teas to choose from, including exclusive teas such as Royal Gunpowder from Taiwan, Jasmin Pearls, Superior Oolong and Fancy Sencha.A waiter showed up and poured a glass of champagne, Louis Roederer Brut, into a glass.I was given a detailed description of each delicacy served. First, I was served sweet dates on a platter along with a pastry decorated with berries. It turned out to go great with champagne.The waitress came back with a large teapot with hot tasty date tea. During the session, unlimited tea and coffee are served. I was served a small plate with a slice of beef fillet and mashed potatoes with dried horseradish. This was no culinary highlight but it got better ...A waiter presented a high scaffold shaped like a dhow sail with four barrels filled with pastries and small sandwiches. I enjoyed my tea and a delicious coffee latte while eating delicate sandwiches and pastries.Everything was top notch, from the service to the food and drink served.The price for Afternoon Tea is currently a whopping 635 dirhams per person!If you want a window table with a view, this costs an additional 100 dirhams!

An amazing experience! I recommend it for everyone to come! We came to celebrate a birthday and our server Marky took care of us! A seven course meal with 10+ teas to try. They made it a very special moment. The view is spectacular!My only complaint is that communication was a little hard to get in touch. Email was not quick in response/replies and I called the restaurant twice before coming and no one answered.

My wife hosted my birthday surprise dinner at Skyview Bar & Restaurant, located inside Burj al Arab on 27th floor. The place was cozy and romantic. At night its not possible to see outside properly so its recommended to visit in the day time. The menu was average with pricey dishes. Mostly people come here for drinks as its a bar also. Overall its quite expensive though.

While the selection of drinks is great and the views over Dubai are nice. For the prices and minimum spend ( 200AED per person, about 2 alcoholic drinks) the place looks dated. It probably hasnt been updated since it was built in the early 2000s.Make sure to get a table by the windows and look out and not at the place its self.

Fantastic for a special occasion, we went for a birthday and anniversary. The service was impeccable( Thank you Marty). Afternoon tea at 4 gave us the time to enjoy our meal plus watch the sunset. I booked well ahead and asked for a window table overlooking Dubai downtown and Burj Khalifa.The view was stunning and highly recommend.

This was a very exciting experience even before reaching the place.As we reached the place,the excitement became DOUBLE. They have a lavish entry and since we had booked the drinks package from 9 pm to 11 pm that let us in. They have a huge lobby with everything luxurious. The detailing of the place from their carpet, to furniture, to ceiling, to lightings was absolutely perfect and, we wanted to look at it again and again... We were mesmerised by the entire vibe and decor of the place. Our booking was for the sky view restaurant and we were escorted well at the bar. The staff was absolutely HOSPITAl towards us.The entire feel of being on the top most floor and viewing the entire city down from there was MARVELLOUS. We were given a menu on which we were asked to order our drinks along with 1 starter each. The experience of drinking there along with my group was astonishing .. The starters which came were quite good in quality and taste..Basically this place is to experience the luxury along with having a good time with your frnds or couple or family..Overall a must visit place ....

Its pretty bizarre. Like a moon base from the 70s, but the service and the drinks are truly amazing. The bartender prepared something really unique and absolutely gorgeous for our special occasion. I guess this was not the last time we were there.

In the night you have a beautiful view to the city. No chance to see anything on the see facing side due to darkness and light reflection on the window. 200AED min. consumption per person. Nice cocktails. Bar menue list can be downloaded.

Attended afternoon tea here at the Skyview bar as a special treat for my mum as it was her birthday. You do need to book in advance and is quite pricey, but was worth it for a special occassion, she loved it. We were lucky enough to get a table by the window , which we requested, to get an amazing view! The staff were very helpful and always asked if we needed anything. They have a wide variety of teas, which was nice.

Best place to enjoy your evening here. You can see sun set, palm Jumeirah and complete Dubai Aerial View. Its on 25th floor in side Burj ala Arab. For a person table booking 300 AED.

Be sure to take a camera. Its a unique bar to drink in, make sure you ask for a window seat as soon as you enter and they will move you as soon as one becomes available. Staff are very attentive and yes the drinks arent cheap, but its worth it for a once in a life time experience.

First Afternoon Tea visit - very expensive but really fantastic!Enthusiastic staff are Super!Glamour decor, in line with the hotel interior. Though not our taste, still a very nice and fine-dined restaurant !Champagne, unlimited drinks & food are all good! Patisseries were too sweet for us though. We had been full with the Tea and could not take any dinner afterwards.Tasting champagne with the Sunset view over the Palm!Really amazing experience - enjoying the Tea, the Sunset, the glittering sea and the Palm at the top of Burj Al Arab !Last but not the least, its fabulous Service gave us a marvellous time indeed !! A kitschy but iconic place to sip your cocktails in style far from the Earth surface. A bit high-tech, a bit sy-fy, a bit of a fishball flying in the skys, Skyview bar is still a place to add some glam to a romantic date or friends gathering.

Unbelievable experience, superb food, excellent service and made our honeymoon all the more memorable!

Absolutely LOVED this experience in Dubai. I did not have the privilege of staying at the Burj Al Arab but even as a non guest the bar is open to make reservations. You must make a reservation and the minimum cost per person is around 150$. It’s easier to make reservations day of in the off season. I would recommend planning a couple days in advance if you’re in the busy tourist season. I took an Uber from JBR and just had to show my reservation confirmation at the gate. After that you may enter the hotel and head to the elevators! The bar is so beautiful and request a window seat if possible! The snacks are small bites and the cocktails are amazing!!! I can’t remember the exact name but please see my photos🤗

My husband and I booked a table for an afternoon tea at 4:15PM on October 23rd,2019 they explained the seven course service, BUT TEA WAS NEVER MENTIONED, THE HIGHLIGHT OF THE EXPERIENCE WAS NON EXISTING. they never offered to us. By 5:30pm I asked and thats when I learned I could asked for it at any time... being my first time we waited to be offer it. WE were not the only ones, the table next to us experienced the same thing. BIG, BIG, BIG lack of service for a $400 US dollars tea, it was extremely over priced. They really ruined our day that day. Hope they provide better training to their employees so they make sure guest are informed about the service and that TEA is available at any time during your two hours booking.I was really, really sad.

Expected more for the money - afternoon tea (quite a lot of money...+ 100aed for a window table). Ive booked this table more than 2 weeks prior to our visit since we had specific requests for the chef. My gluten free sandwiches (and deserts) were literally the worst gluten free food Ive ever tasted in my life. The finger sandwiches were extremely dry and the deserts had way too much sugar, as if the chef was compensating the lack of white flour with white sugar... The tea - the focus point of the whole visit was not offered by the staff - yes, there was a menu on the table, but unless you asked to be served a drink, youd be getting some kind of welcome drink (alcohol free unless you pay extra). Staff were all polite and professional - except for the moment with the tea and forgetting to offer it to the guests. My 3 stars are for the great view and the effort the staff were putting in order to satisfy the guests. On another note - 50% of the ladies guests got a single rose on their way out - I realized it was because their guys have made the reservation for them and have marked the visit as special event. Ive also marked the visit as special event and got 0 out of it, not even the food I have paid for.P.S. Ladies and gentlemen - no need to get all dressed up - most of the ladies (especially the ladies) were dressed as if they were planning a regular visit to the mall or meeting a friend at Starbucks... so, no need to iron shirts, pants, dresses... Nobody would even notice it anyway 😄

I loved it, from the onset the decor does seem s little dated, but otherwise comfortable. Customer service from beginning to end was impeccable. Maybe the best customer service I have ever received! Like in life:) our appointment was on time, we were escorted to our table with a view, good ambience, a little quiet, great descriptions of the dishes ( which were lovely) at the end we took pictures managed to see the views as daytime turned to night. A great excuse to visit the Burj Al Arab!

Gold gold gold and Rolls Royce. Of course it is expensive and of course the design is special and maybe not 100% up to date. But it is worth a visit. I wouldnt go with kids but for a date or anniversary its a good place.

Impeccable service, outstanding lunch menu and accompanying wine. Knowledgeable table staff who were very accommodating with our questions about the food- sources for example. The langoustine (Norwegian lobster) entree was absolutely divine as well as the quail main- prepared to perfection.

The afternoon tea was delicious, well executed. I think if i do it again I would ask the staff to box up the sweet desserts because they are too rich to eat in one sitting. Breathtaking views of Dubai and the sea on a clear day.

There were an amazing pianist there that let my niece to sit with her, something so simple made our day. It was an amazing experience, coffee, a kind of date bubbly and delicious finger sandwiches. We love it.

This especially stands out as everything else is perfect.A unique experience, and worth the $$ in my opinion!

Fantastic place to sip your cocktail. We enjoyed the atmosphere, very stylish and trendy. Nice guests with style (while we were there at least). The place is not cheep but it is very exclusive and gives that extra value which makes you feel it is really one of the greatest bar experiences of your month. I can highly recommend it!!!

His is probably one of the best spots at the Burj Al Arab. It’s the highest point of the hotel and this little capsule that you see at the head of the Burj Al Arab is actually a swanky bar on this inside. You will get one of the best views from the seating here and the interiors are so amazing that you’ll definitely want to get your camera out. Don’t forget to look at the ceiling. Trust me you’ll remember my review when you look up at the sky view bar. Just go see it.

When visiting Dubai, you should visit this place as well. Beautiful building and a great view from the bar in the top. Very friendly staff that makes spectacular cocktails. Pricey but definitely worth it. Make sure you make a reservation for the bar otherwise you cannot enter the Burj al Arab.

I cant believe that everyone else seems to rate this bar. We thought it was very poor. Poor wine at sky high prices. Somewhat slow service. And unattractive decor. There was a row of empty tables, with used tablecloths and the tables not set, making you feel as though it was closing time! Unimpressed!!

Make sure you make a reservation. Even if you just want to for a drink. There is a minimum spend currently around £70 each person. You should get atleast 2 alchaolic cocktails for that price. Nice views inside. Friendly and attentive staff. I couldnt see much looking out the windows due to going in the evening when dark. With the reflections from the lights and the angle of the windows make it difficult to look out. Great experience to be had.

The ambiance and service was fantastic.The food was not so great, however.As a restaurant ambiance and service are a good adjunct to a great dining experience. But they can not replace the dining itself.I felt like the food should have been much, much better.

The one thing you will never get tried of, is Sky Bars in Dubai... every bar offer something different.. but they all share one thing... great location, and great service ..

Really lovely bar - but alot quieter than the Gold27 bar. Better in the day as you cant see much of a view at night facing the palm and sea. the near bar Gold27 has the spectacular views of the city, with a young upbeat vibe, however it can be too stuffy for a non smoker.

Staff and atmosphere are amazing, food however was not up to 5 star expectations from US/Europe. Not bad, but they do need to step it up

Book for sundowners and you will not be disappointed. This is the best and most romantic way to experience the Burj Al Arab without staying the night. Gives you a chance to dress up and experience the glamour of this 7 star hotel while enjoying the sunset and view of the World Islands - be sure to book a window seat.
