Very poor food. Worse management, clearly no idea what service means and had no care for patrons. Even blatantly lied to her manager who could not care when she was caught out . Stay far away.

Restaurant has got no view... secluded inside the Grand Habtoor.... their steaks tastes good though.

We went for a brunch. The food was OK, however the place was too noisy to actually enjoy the food. It wasnt the music, it was the general hubbub of people talking. They really need to think about maybe adding some soft furnishings in the place to dampen the sounds. Also, really surprised that they didnt ask about how wed like the steaks done.

GREAT OFFER ON LADIES & GENTS NIGHT ON TUESDAYS – AMAZING FOOD!The Grand Grill is located in the Habtoor Grand Hotel in the Dubai Marina.They have valet parking in the hotel which is free of charge if you are visiting the restaurant.We visited the restaurant as we heard about their new Ladies & Gents nights on a Tuesday evening and the offer seemed too good to miss.Ladies can enjoy a 3 course set menu (including a fillet steak for the main course) as well as select free-flowing beverages all evening for just AED 125 (£25). Gents can enjoy all you can eat chicken & ribs for just AED 115 or AED 185 (£37) with 4 beverages included.We made a reservation in advance as we imagined (with an offer like this) the restaurant would be quite busy – we were right! We arrived at the restaurant and it had a great vibe and even better atmosphere. The lighting was dimmed, décor was sophisticated and it had a very romantic ambience.We were greeted by a friendly waiter who seated immediately. We had a great table, right beside the kitchen, meaning you could see the chefs cooking the food fresh. He helped us with our menu choices and explained the ladies & gents night offers in more detail.The food was delicious - one of the best steaks we have tasted for a while and the heaped plate of chicken and ribs was enough to feed an entire football team, there was more than enough to keep us satisfied.The restaurant has a great aura and has a romantic feel. It is perfect for a special occasion or a date. There were also families there in the booths enjoying a nice evening together so it really is suitable for everyone (and the perfect choice if you are staying in the hotel). Absolutely fabulous night at grand grill to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. Beautiful steaks after mussels and portobello mushrooms to start. Very attentive staff who did a celebration dance for us an provided a complimentary cake. Would highly recommend

Went for the Friday brunch. Simply awesome. Great staff, heaps of meat, and simply great value. Its not a party place so the concentration is on the food, but it definitely hits the mark. Would happily go again.

Based on my NYE experience, the place is poorly managed by a manager who has excuses.Arrived at 2030hrs received my dinner at 2349hrs. The loneliest steak in the middle east, was overcooked, no seasoning and to top it off cold when served. The only decent thing I put in my mouth was the bread and the ribs from kids menu.NYE complimentary drink was served after bringing in the New year.Since the manager had no clue how to control guests from enjoying their night. He decided to turn the music off before midnight, so we sat in a non ambient atmosphere.The best part he has the audacity to tell me, that I will come back to his establishment, instead of apologizing for his clueless behavior and lack of management. At least I started my New Year with the ultimate joke.Conclusion : Never going to visit this place again.

Friday Brunch: one word, Fantastic!This South African themed restaurant has the best food, the best drinks and the best staff.I cannot recommend this enough to anybody looking for a quality Friday Brunch. It is not even expensive.Thank you to Daniel who looked after us to perfection.

Easily 5 stars, went there for our wedding anniversary, although the online booking experience wasnt the easiest, when we went there the staff are very nice and sweet and welcoming.The food is really good.. we both got steaks. Highly recommended.. after we finished they surprised us with an african song and a cake wishing us a happy anniversary

Honestly the service was slow and the range of food available was not that great . I think promoting the lunch as a buffet is creating wrong expectations. If it was a pure a la carte experience then it would be 4 stars, but as an a la carte buffet you need to up your game, your portion sizes and your speed of service.

We had friday brunch, the service was very good however the food was really bad, cold meat and tasteless salads and starters. Alcohol was not good as well, bad quality. It was very hot indoors. We will not go back there.

Total waste of money, been to better greasy spoons!! Music is up & down, come on volume control is so simple. Food is garbage more than likely from Intercat in JAFZA and shipped in, BBQ is 5/10 on a good day.There’s a lot better places that offer value & better quality, avoid at all costs.

Dry and extremely overpriced steak. Chicken was good but no better than the chicken from spinnies that is 1/4 the price. Very poor lighting outside. Ordered drinks during happy hour and charged full price because we asked for the bill after it ended. Paid 600 for moderate food at best. Ive been to many places that surpass this place by leaps and bounds at a fraction of the price. Dont waste time or money here.

Disappointed with the brunch

For being the only customers at the restaurant service was very slow... starter of mac and cheese was extremely hard and not cooked correctly .we waited nearly one hour on main course? No server was present to enquiry where our main course was? We are literally the only ones in the establishment.. hungry and ready to walk out !

The Grand Grill offers the best steak in Dubai. I have recently been there for a brunch. The staff are very friendly and the food is to die for. They also do delicious ribs too :) If you are looking for places to eat in JBR or the Marina I would go here.

Been here many times. Very good steak and the atmosphere is really good, the guys are very friendly and entertaining, recommend this restaurant for nice relaxing evening, especially outside in the winter. (Only one issue this evening was that there was no amirulah in the amirula cheesecake!)

Outdoor sitting with a bucket of Savannah is a must during brunch when the weather permits.
