Tribes far exceeded my expectations of a mall restaurant. That’s why I’m giving them 5 stars. The menu is great with so many options. I had their burger and it was excellent. They also serve delicious hot bread and butter.

Heard so good reviews about this place that I was really excited to try their steak. Went there and tried the Wagyu Blade steak but the taste did not satisfy my meat desire. The temperature of the meat was below average and it felt like eat cold meat. Had to request for the re-heat.Also ordered beef ribs, which was also below average. Not recommended at all especially when you look at their menu card which is not-so-easy on your pocket.

Tried their Wagyu Burger and Fully Loaded Beef Burger , both was great. But I really think they should improve quality of potato fries which are very thick and nowhere delicious.

We had many visits to Tribes and every time we were really pleased with the quality of food they offered and more importantly with the level of customer service and the friendliness of the staff. It was truly exceptional.

The place is huge, liked the ambience decor and the chairs! Service is great and they know their stuff so go with the recomendations. We tried the calamari for starters, bunny chow, snapper fillet and the choco pudding cake. We were just 2 and not heavy meat fans so did not try the beef&steak&ribs so could not try out all. I loved the bunny chow best but not the frozen paratha it was served it, a more traditional bread would have preferred. But will definitely visit again.

Food was really very good and authentic. Very efficient and fast service along with super friendly staff. Ambience is good enough and relaxed. I like the idea of African touch with music and the way its all decorated and served. Would definitely come back soon

The waiter was only focused on one thing: getting a tip. Very unprofessional and rude.The food was also horrible, with a weird smell and overall bad quality. Would not recommend at all!

This place is simply awesome, brings you the delight of African cuisines to your table. The beef ribs were well cooked and simply delicious , and ordered a chicken grill which was mightly , another think to note was no fries served up instead it was served with fried drumstick, which was something unique.

Absolutely adored this place, food was stellar. The portions are huge so order wisely to avoid waste, the meat items are the winners here, I was not disappointed but anything on the table. Went in for some Steak and was not disappointed!! Yes, it may be a bit pricey, but it is absolutely worth it!!The Smocked Chicken sald was fabulous and really recommend as starter.The 400g Ribeye was really perfect, tender and juicy. It was cooked perfectly and as requested medium-well.The Peri-peri Prawns was okay however it wasnt spicy at all.The guys down there preformed an African dance during our meal, which was new to us.Definitely will be coming back again, if I got a discount coupon ;-)

He was so accommodating, of course we know he just doing his job properly.. anyway, quality food, i had the best burger in my life so far, the meat was incredibly tender, soft juicy and rich in flavor absolutely taste very good.. I have always been a fan of tribes, the steaks have also been on point but this time I tried the burger there and I absolutely loved it. It was perfectly cooked, the meat was on point and the combination of egg and cheese with it was perfect. Ill be back for more.

South African BBQ is just delicious and Tribes is the right place to enjoy it. I love MOE branch. Great service, nice management and a quality food. If you have any occasion celebrating there they will dance and sing for you and then offer complimentary yumminess 💜

The food is absolutely on-point, & the staff are exceptionally attentive & helpful, especially for a part of the world where service is extremely irratic.Dining starts with a loaf of fresh, warm bread, dough seasoned with something that is mildly spicy, yet pleasantly homey. We voted to start the meal with the tuna/salmon sandwich set, which is meant to be a meal, but makes a perfect appetizer for two while waiting for th emain entrées.Main courses of Snapper and the Madegascar Grilled Chicken made for too much to finish. While the meat is impressive, the sides are what put the whole deal over the top. Creamy, fresh whipped potatoes with crispy fried okra, everything is pleasantly produced from fresh ingredients. In the end, the manager stopped by to welcome us and welcome us back.Very civilized and upscale for the continent of the wild. Oh! And not to forget. The Entertainer is available for a great discount when dining as two.

We had very good experience at Tribes restaurant. Their food is delicious, particularly their grills and burgers. The quality of their meat and its cooking are perfect! Food is served in a short time which is also worth noting.Their Mojito drink is one of the best in town. Finally, their service is good and attentive. Strongly recommend this place.

I was treated to an afternoon out by a South African friend who was raving about Tribes and its African (South African) origin. Unfortunately I was not hungry so only had a beetroot and avocado salad which was enhanced by the honeyed walnuts. The service was good and friendly. The restaurant itself appeared dark and had an African type atmosphere. My friend had soup, spring rolls and garlic bread which looked good and tasted good. Looking at the menu, I saw some familiar South African meals, but doing a fast calculation - ouch, the prices were a tad bit expensive.The restaurant was busy and well patronised, so definitely a favourite eating place for many in Dubai. My cappuccino was cold so that made it not enjoyable.

I went today. From pandemic point of view it was clean. But in terms of service they were pathetic. First I requested the server to give me corner seat because I cover my face but she said its busy its weekend so it reserved for 4 people so I was made sit on a table of 4 people not 6 that I wanted. Anyways then I waited for my server to come and help me with the order and take my order. So I kept looking for them and guess what they gave that table I wanted to just 2 people and those 2 people could take my table easily as well. Then my food came after like forever I wouldnt have mind that if food was delicious. The spring roll had smell in the meat. The grill chicken was hard 😫 and tasteless. Only water melon juice was amazing. Imagine then I again waited for my bill..

Food is ok, we ordered two steaks which was each 200 AED and two burgers which is each 90AED, we have asked if we can use two entertainer coupons, they said yes. However when we got the bill, they only deduct 180AED , the correct amount should be 290AED. We explained to them, but the waiter’a attitude was very bad and so was the manager, the manager never listen to what we said and always bla bla saying, even when we tried to say a word, we were interrupted, this was very rude to his customers. And he even asked we to call the entertainer to confirm. Very ridiculous. We have used entertainer for so many times, never happens like this. They just want to charge you more secretly , when you knew it, they were very rude to you.Pay attention to your bills when you use the entertainer, they will charge you more.

I did the reservation for a birthday celebration of my better half for 2 through online, the filipina receptionist (i forgot the name) called me to clarify my request ahead of time, they warmly accommodate us, the waiter Fidel assisted us with the menu and suggested a dish that we really enjoyed, generous food portion and taste absolutely brilliant. Two thumbs up MOE TRIBES. It’s a highly recommended.

I ordered steak with mashed potatoes and steamed vegetables with sallad as starter. It took 20 min for sallad to arrive and 10 min for meat. I received well done although I ordered medium. This was quickly corrected by the polite staff. My visit took an hour. Very helpful staff.

Tribes was an awesome experience since we are meat lovers. Although, it is very similar to Chamas that we have tried earlier but the flavors are more African than Brazilian. I would recommend Tribes – Carnivore for the meaty experience and stuffing yourself for the whole day!

Ordered the Warrior platter contains different types of meat and half grilled chicken, chips, mash potato, and mushroom sauce.Could be shared by two or even three people.Highly recommend for grilled meat craves.

Very good food.. great service.. a little expensive but with the entertainer it’s not so bad. Definitely recommended. The host was very welcoming check on us after we finished our food. Request local water cause their exported one is very expensive 😅

The waiter is very money hungry and he asked how much tip I will give him so I decide to give him zero tip cause he doesn’t deserve tip at all , and the quality of the food was horrible, the meat has weird smell .it’s the first and last time to eat there just save your money and go other place.

I dont live in the UAE, but tribes is one of the very first restaurants I have to visit when I reach Dubai. I wouldnt mind paying extra for the mlst tender and tasty steak. Whether you order a fatty ribeye or a pure red fillet, you are good to go. The service is amazing. Waiters are very friendly too.

Massive steak, juicy and tender. Drool was dripping out of my mouth on the sight if the steak. The restaurant was in high-spirit and they had good vibes. I generally would go there for the food, and I would recommend for all meat lovers to give it a try.

One of the worst fancy resturants I have been to. I was really surprised by how inconsiderate and poorly trained the waiter was. I was greatly disappointed with waiters behaviour and ignorance while serving. I had ordered a steak medium rare with mashed potatoes. As it turn out they give a complimentry loaf of bread along with some butter, which was pretty good but not par my expectations. The bread was served almost 10mins after ordering- which I believe is a lot of waiting time. Now the time does not really matter what really matters is the waiter got 4 loafs of bread for 7 people what?? However we asked for more as we had the right and got 2 more. Once our main course got in, I was really shocked by their presentation, no food presentation whatsoever, just an edge of corriander beside the steak. Also I had ordered mushroom cream sauce which never came to me with the food. Now without complaining anymore since I was hungry I started off with the mashed potatoes, actually pretty amazing. Then I tried eating my steak the moment i ate the steak I realized it was going to be a long day. The steak was cold, it was not even mildly hot- it was just cold. I had to call the waiter who had still not gotten my sauce to do something about the cold steak, eventually it wasnt just me but 2 of my other friends who ordered steak had the sam problem. We gave our steaks and waited around 30 mins from the time we had ordered. When the waiter got us the steak back it was awfully cold again just for me this time, and the waiter never stayed to ask if everything was fine, I had to turn back search for the waiter and call him to atleast take a feedback and leave, being kind I handed him the steak, then he left off showing a surprised face as if I was just a troublesome customer. When he came back with the plate he kept the plate and just left without asking us for anything or taking any feedback from us, we needed a bottle of water for which we had to ask him. The third time the steak was hot but it cost me the medium rare (fyi they got me the same steak everytime each time it got smaller). After having the food we asked the waiter to get us the bill and wet tissues, we waited for around 10mins and then I was really ticked off. I asked for the manager and told him not only how poor his service was, but also his food quality was. I was terribly dissapointed. The only reason I gave 2 stars is because the mashed potatoes and the manager was very polite and gave us 20% off on our bill and gave his card asking us to visit once again and discover a totally different side of their service. Which I will never want to.

The staff are very friendly and professional. As soon as the waiter found out we were friends who reunited after long years, he gave us the time to really catch up and not be too nosy. Towards finishing our meal, the waiter and the manager dropped by to check how the food were and if we needed something else.I ordered black USA Angus Beef Striploin Steak and it was near perfection. That complimentary bread is one of the best I have tried. Ill definitely recommend and will be back. Keep it up!

I tried a Kobe ribeye steak for the first time, so there was some apprehension. There was a distinct venison flavour, which was okayish, but it was not at all succulent, as a ribeye should be, and overall very disappointing and not worth the extra cost. Otherwise the food was great and the service excellent, so Ill be back, but Ill stick to normal beef in future

Exceptional service and quality is the what I liked about Tribes. But its pricey when compared to other similar options. Since they accept Entertainer, I could save something.We tried a burger which was very good as well as the Ribs which was juicy and yummy. The dish was good enough for 1. But the highlight was definitely the service.Its located at Level 2 near the cinemas.

Came here twice. First time was amazing, second time not as much.

From the moment we went into the restaurant they are very warm and passionate. We were guided to a nice seat by the waiter Allen who gave us a good recommendation of the menu. We end up choosing the fillet and the beef ribs aside with sweet potato fries and vegetable plate. Fillet taste like BBQ and for us it was fabulous. Ribs with the sauce is very soft and well done. Vegetables tastes like what they supposed to be which is hard for nowadays you normally hardly fell what you are eating I’m pretty sure these veg are premium. The ice tea served with mint were so fresh that it really clears your mouth after all the meat.

Amazing concept which reminded me of an African visit. The service is excellent as is the food. Being on the entertainer is also a good option as the meals are then very affordable. We ordered the steak burger which was very well made. Been there several times and it has always been an excellent choice.

Definitely recommend the Beef ribs here! They literally fall off the bone. So tender, succulent and very well flavoured with their home-made BBQ sauce. I had mine with the creamy mash which was very well made. For starters I had the watermelon salad which is so refreshing although the portion could have been bigger. The ambience is really nice and the staff are very friendly and attentive.
