To be honest I didn’t like the food, I liked the customer service though. I have tried both chicken and meat and I liked the spiciness but still it didn’t do it for me there was this white thing that I didn’t like, the sweet puff puff needed a flavor or a sauce in my opinion with it because it’s so simple.. I would recommend the rice “gelof “ it was good and maybe the best thing they had. The meat is better than the chicken in my opinion. Plus they didn’t have fofo which is something I was excited to try. Hope u have better experience. Will try more Nigerian cuisines since this was my first so I can know whether I don’t like the cuisine or I just didn’t like the food
Getting their food for the first time and it was exactly what I needed. Better than other African restaurants Ive checked out around Al Nahda 1.
Delicious traditional Nigerian food. Variety available. Moderately priced. Lot of seating available. Courteous staff. Parking (paid) available close to restaurant.
This restaurant is a classy, spacious and astonishing restaurant located directly opposite Al Madeena Supermarket. They have food for everyone. It has almost any meal you can think of from the African continent and even beyond. They have the jollof rice, fried rice, beans, porridge, beans and rice, yam, dodo (plantain) staple rice. Theyve got the swallows too like the amala, eba, semo with varying soup. Their service is top notch. Just one visit to this place and youll feel the warmth and welcome of the true African culture. Its not so expensive as it looks but then their service is worth every fils (cent). They also render catering service too, as I was told. Whenever you want to have a feel of home, this place can deliver that feel you desire.
I think the team needs to work on their attitude and customer service... My first experience was bad even though I made my order. The second experience dealing with an agent or whoever on the phone today to make new order was even worst and I eventually did not make any order. If this the how they behalf over the phone i wonder how they would behalf if one goes to the restaurant... I wish you luck
I love it there 🥰, nice meals ❤️
Scam and gives the entire country of Nigeria a bad name. Just visited earlier this evening and was charged 11 aed for 6 tiny pieces of plantain. Total bill was 120 aed for food for barely 3 people that was inedible. For comparison pak liyari across the street gave plenty of better quality food for 2 people for just 30 aed. The server at Biggy hand wrote our price on a piece of paper seeing that we weren’t African and probably way overcharged us for what we got. And they gave us such small portions. The food itself was so greasy and badly made. Every item was made with the beef innards that no one wants to buy at the butcher. Smelled so bad we couldn’t eat any of it except the beans and the 6 pieces of plantains. Would never come back. I hope real Nigerian food is better quality than this and this place gets replaced by a real Nigerian restaurant.
I called after I saw an advert by Khalid, I was shocked how rude the person was, she even raised her voice. I had to ask myself if I was begging for food.
