My family and I celebrated New Year Eve here. Its a cozy Italian restaurant both outdoor and indoor with a view within Intercontinental hotel. Indian manager was friendly and helpful. Prices were acceptable and the festive menu set seemed to be nice. Although there was only one (!) waiter for the restaurant. Filipino guy alone was trying to serve everybody so it wasnt a surprise that we had to repeat the orders multiple times and to wait for every meal for a really long time. We had to request for the second sparkling wine bottle multiple times as well. The table candle wasnt lighted - the other tables were ok though. And at the end, when we suggested to underline these facts, somebody completed the quality survey attached to the bill instead of us with all the excellent marks! The photo is attached. This place has a good concept and nice food, but something should be done with the service and, please, hire more waiters especially for festive occasions.

We attended this restaurant one evening when staying in Abu Dhabi. We had pre-booked, arriving on time and being seated indoors. It ages at least 20 minutes for our drinks orders to be taken followed by a further delay in the waiter returning to take our food orders. The food took an hour to arrive (we only ordered 3 pizzas and 1 pasta dish) - we had to speak with the manager 3 times to ask where our food was. He openly admitted that they were under-staffed and shouldnt have taken our booking - whilst the outdoor tables were full, the restaurant was only at 50% occupancy. When the food did arrive, the Pizzas were average (borderline tasteless) and the pesto pasta dish was appalling - Ive had better from a jar at home! We complained to the restaurant management. This meal was very disappointing given the prices. The decor is also random - seemed strange having a circus theme (half-hearted) and Italian food. I would avoid.

Visited as a guest in the Circo restaurant for dinner. We were entertaining friends from Dubai and enjoyed our ocean side table. We chose to stay outdoors - to enjoy the air . I just want to say that, in addition to a nice meal, we had a delightful Manager, Gary. he had just the right balance of friendliness and efficiency. he recognized that we wanted time to visit and did not rush us. He and other staff members made certain that we had everything we needed.

My wife and I visited Circo for a date night, and the staff were wonderful in accommodating us in a table away from others and well away from the smoking section. There is a lengthy wine menu, and the desserts were worth sticking around for.The atomosphere is modeled after an Italian circus, which is unique in Abu Dhabi and beyond. Unlike a circus, the background music was at an optimal level, as was the lighting and the temperature.I would recommend Circo for a departure from the routine, as well as for their service and selection. Overall, a great experience and we will be back again soon.

We randomly ended up here after another restaurant let us down. What a complete contrast. This place is amazing; great food, good prices, great venue, great fun staff, all in all an great option. I will 100% be back. Thank you.

Nice Italian restaurant at InterContinental Hotel. The Happy Deal between 5pm and 7pm is an amazing deal. Food is tasty and authentic. The ambience inside is great. Outside seating is next to the marina and great for children.

Had an excellent family meal here on Sunday evening and were stunned at the price of the bill. There is a 50% promotion off food and drinks each Sunday evening. A hidden gem within the grounds of the Intercontinental hotel overlooking the harbour.Praveen looked after us all very well!!!

We are decided to try the italian restaurant Circo which is situated on the residence. We ordered the lasagne and sole with faccaicci top. Both dishes where at the budget end of the menu and where excellent - quite honestly I would have paid twice as much as in terms of presentation and quality they where exceptional. The staff where very courteous and helpful and made the whole evening memorable. We are returning in a few weeks and we will definitely be returning here

Went here for valentines Day meal. It was a set menu with 1 glass of prosecco. The starter was raw prawns. Freezing cold with ice cold apple slush on top. I actually gagged when I took my first bite. The main was barely cooked risotto and the dessert was 3 different flavours of panacotta. My only recommendation is to avoid this place like the plague.

Worst pizza I ever ate in Abu Dhabi. Any Pakistan bakery can make it even better than this. With the price you pay, suppose to be mozzarella on top, and no a low quality cheese bought in some Baqala.You can find far way better italian restaurants, saving moneys, and being happier.

The food was good (which is the main reason to go); the decor was interesting (supposedly representing the theme of a circus); and the servers were friendly, but not particularly attentive even though the restaurant was not busy at the time (which was disappointing as the restaurant is in a 5-star hotel).

The worst Italian I have ever been to, the starter was wrong, I asked for a mixture of breads so my partner and I could use the the Oil/balsamic to dip, what was provided was a mush of small cubes of bread with a blob of mozzarella on top, totally different to the menu, I asked for the Wagyu ribeye medium for main, it came out well done, my partner chose the sea bass with mussels and claMs, the sea bass was tiny with 5 miniscule clams and mussels whose shells had not opened, when I reported this to the manager we were basically accused of living, they obviously do not have a clue of how to cook and do for a hotel chain such as Intercontinental this is extremely disappointing, will definitely never return!!!

One of the worst (expensive) Friday brunches you can find in town. The brunch gives you access to Circo as well as the steakhouse and the Belgian Cafe.The food at circo was a 5/10, the service a 3/10, but worst of all was the meat at the steak house: 1/10. They have no idea whatsoever of preparing or serving steaks.The brunch is as expensive as the best brunches you can find, but the product is mediocre.

We paid for a Christmas buffet from 12 to 4pm but at 3.30pm the buffet closes and they didnt even want to bring us coffee at the end of the meal!

Our visit to the restaurant Circo we found to be rather average. Both the staff and the food did not really convince us. The restaurant was sonicated in the outdoor area by a music system, while the adjacent restaurants loud live music was added. Rather loud and uncomfortable.

Ate very well and with a good value for money. Very friendly staff.

Everything was great. The friendliness of the people. We will travel again.

As a hotel guest with all-inclusive you are labeled as a 2nd class person. Even before entering the restaurant, the restaurant manager assesses you from top to bottom with downward looking looks. As soon as the band is seen on the arm, they just roll their eyes and reluctantly offer a seat. Instead of the normal menu, we got a shortened version on which only 10 dishes are suggested. You are not even asked if you want to eat normally and would be willing to pay. The whole time we felt totally uncomfortable and not welcome.The food itself was ok, but the portions are small. We ordered a salad with buffalo mozzarella and pasta.The pasta is served very al dente, so it was partly raw. With the salad we both had to look for the mozzarella, as it was used very sparingly.All in one: not recommended, unless you are not coming as a hotel guest.

As an all-inclusive guest, you dont really feel welcome. In the evening, unfortunately, after 1.5 hours and asking the waiter, we still had no main course on the table. It is questionable how this restaurant got the award.
