This low rating is only due for the service not for the food which is actually good. Servers do not know how to pronounce basic dishes in Italian which is expected, being an Italian restaurant… I had only half pizza and other half I asked to be given as take away. When I reached home… I found out that they only gave me back 2 slices. Why??? And if they dropped the other 3, why they did not bother to tell me? Very very disappointing service. The pizza is good though but I would add real Italian choices like: 4 stagioni, pizza al prosciutto cotto, prosciutto di Parma, pizza ai frutti di mare, etc.

Great Italian restaurant and the pizza is very good. Please fix the Hugo, the one we had tasted like almond or cherry, which are not in the original receipt (I come from the area where it was invented) :) however, I was really happy to find it the menu!!

Great Italian restaurant with many pictures of Florence on the walls. They offer a wide variety of Italian dishes. The pizza 4 Formaggi and the Linguine Alla Vongole were very good.A plus is also the vast wine list, offering wines not from Italy but also many other wine regions.The service was friendly and fast.

Pizza was ok, not tremendous but ok. Pasta, bucatini alla eoliana, had a very good sauce (a bit too oily though) but it was uncooked. I asked for al dente but that was too much. I am Italian so I know what al dente means and is not that. Id give a second chance because service and environment was good.

I found the food and service to be five star. I went twice this week. I highly recommend this restaurant. I would have given them five stars plus except at the end of my meal the smell of cigarettes floated by. I have forgotten that many third world and developing locations still allow smoking. Totally ruins a great experience and atmosphere.

Nice food

On recommendation of the hotel front office we went for dinner to Sacci. Atmosphere was poor especially the lighting was poor. Bar area sad and out of place. On a Friday night the place had 3 tables occupied during our visit so not buzzing. Pricing is on the usual high levels of Dubai/Abu Dhabi but with no real quality. Food was mediocre and indifferent sometimes even not good like the gnocchi dish that comes in a massive portion however no taste. How can you mess up with gnocchi still a mystery. Wine list unacceptable, small with no Italian wines not to mention any decent labels and well overpriced. Crème Brûlée was ordered for dessert which was an egg tart practically far away from what a crème brûlée should be and we just barely had two spoons. Mentioned this to the staff but no further help for us. Was not even taken off our bill. Place has potential but not at this pace. No manager also to be seen running the place. I would avoid there are better expensive restaurants to spend your money in AUH.
