Big thank you for the MOH Seychelles that recommended the Burjeel Medical City and I feel privileged to have had my eye surgery there. I was personally met at the airport by a smiling Mr. Shafeeq, who had to patiently wait for me for over 2 hours while completing covid procedures and paperwork upon arrival. At the Burjeel Medical City, the staff were very welcoming and made me feel comfortable and at home the moment I stepped inside. I felt very confident to have my eyesight taken care of by the best eye retinal Dr in UAE (Dr. Madhaav Rao) and his team. A big thank you to you all.Special thanks goes to the following staffs, the handsome Mr. Shafeeq for his overwhelming patience and dedications shown at all times during my 4 weeks in recovery, special mention for Mr. Mandate, the security man, the first person I see in the morning as his station was just in front of my room (702) his friendly face and chirpy greetings really lifts up your spirits and this brings the sunshine in my normally long and boring day, the lovely, charming and motherly housekeeper, Ms Tika Naya, who would ensure I always have fresh towels and a clean spotless room on a daily basis, Mr Milton and Mr. Raoul who will always pop in to check on my health and general welfare, or any issues I may have, and last but not least all the kitchen staffs, who really went out of their way to satisfy our creole pallet(not really successful there) but there was always something among the various little bowls on the tray to enjoy. My gratitude to one and all especially in Zone D, 7th floor, who in one way or another contributed to make my stay with you a great experience right from the start.The interior of the hospital is nothing less than a 5 star ++ hotel and I will highly recommend it.A big thank you to you all.Seychellois patient.

Worst ever emergency staff. You have to wait long time even if youre in pain. Also you need to do everything on your own like bringing medicine or injection from the pharmacy etc. No staff is there to assist you.

Worst emergency staff and department I’ve ever witnessed and dealt with. I gave them my ID to check in and waited while others were coming after me and going in to see the doctors. I stand up and go to the reception and ask them what’s the hold up since I was “next” when I gave them the ID. They ask me if I was me twice first of all and then I see my ID was the last one left sitting on the desk when one of the staff takes it and asks if it belonged to me. To which I answered of course. They then said they’ll register me to which I replied, wasn’t I supposed to be next? And I asked why my ID was sitting there for an hour they said the system was down. What a joke lol. What about the others who came after me? And when you ask for a manager they keep deflecting the question. Place just looks good with incompetent staff everywhere except maybe the medical staff. Revise your administration and control your admin staff recruitment and training better if you really want to better serve and help people.

Emergency experience **If you want to spend more than 1 hour waiting in the reception area while you have pain you can go to them. I have two bad experiences in this hospital. On the first visit, the receptionist at the obstetrics and gynecology clinic forgot to return my ID card and because the doctor was busy with an emergency situation, I was in a hurry, and despite this, I contacted them to get my card back, and the employee responded coldly to me and told me that the working hours It is over and I have to wait until tomorrow, knowing that I am an employee and can not enter without my ID, but the patient relations officer responded to me and returned my card respectfully. As for the second visit, I was in the laboratory for a blood test and I was waiting for my turn and when my number appeared I went to the blood drawing room But I was preceded by a patient whose number was previous and did not come, so the nurse chose to enter her before me, and when I expressed my objection to her, she replied coldly that I did not mind and deliberately hurt me in the process of drawing blood until a bruise appeared on my hand and I made sure of this when I returned to repeat the blood draw, there was another technician and she was in The utmost ethics and professionalism, so I hope that you choose your employees more carefully

NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL!I have very bad experience with physiotherapy dept,They are not serious, I am trying to get the appointments for my sessions for almost three weeks but they are not responding although they have already got the insurance approval, I have raised an official complaint but unfortunately also no response.

The services that I receive today from Burjeel Hospital (MBZ) is excellent. All staff are friendly and ensure that I am properly informed about my health and care. I would have no qualms in recommending them to family and friends.Dr. Kavitha did a great job with my first ever health exam. She explained everything to me in a very clear manner. She was also kind and friendly. All of the staff was great – they were helpful, patient and helped with my insurance.

Facility is nice, brans new hospital. The service of admitting in the emergency care is very slow. nurses are confused, they changed my room more than one time. The reception staff needs training on admitting patients, they give misleading information , each one of them are not in the same page, and super slow if they have more the one patient. Wish these concerns are taken seriously.

The best vocabularies to describe my days as a patient in this hospital are that it is a place located in heaven accessible for the sick around the world, with first class services provided by a team of medical professionals who put patients needs first with the assistance of the latest equipments and medicines which aids the healing processes to become less cumbersome and tedious. After a walk in to the ENT department this morning, the reception was quick and within minutes we were in the doctors room for consultation. Service may be good but waiting time at reception is too long. I wait for one and half hours to get registered at that time I was alone in the counter. If more patients was there I can’t imagine. For getting the lab report we have to take taxi and went to another reception and they will report the report without envelopes as they says it’s confidential......!!!Any way second time also I experienced same issue at reception this time I spend my two hours there just to get registered.The doctor we consulted was good.

Im Sunil, Ive been having severe pain over the right side of my stomach so i consulted a well-known hospital in Mussafah and was asked to do ultrasound scan where we found that i had a tumour on my right kidney i was referred to another hospital and consulted a urologist where i was asked to take CT Scan which was then confirmed that the whole of my right kidney was mandatory to be removed. Therefore i consulted multiple hospitals and Urology doctors to attain better remedy but was informed that the complete removal of the right kidney was the only option left. As a last ray of hope, i consulted Burjeel Medical City for Dr. Rishikesh Remesh Pandya. Unlike other doctors, he informed me that i do not need my entire right kidney to be removed but just the tumour as well as some part of it. Hence the surgery was accomplished by retaining 85% of the right kidney. Im now completely recovered. I wanted to share this experience to let you know that i would definitely recommend every patients who have any issues related to their kidneys to this extraordinary Urology &Uro Oncology Dr. Rishikesh in Burjeel Hospital who is talented in his profession as well as the best Urology doctor in Middle East. My wife was scheduled for surgery on 10th August. As she was having some flu like symptoms. So I was in need to do an urgent PCR for her to make sure it is not COVID. so when I enquired I came to know that Burjeel Medical City provides rapid PCR test and result within 2 hours. So immediately I went there and paid 480 dirhams for the test around 16:10 hrs.I was eagerly waiting for the result. Around 19.40My wife called to 80023 for the result. They replied that it will be issued within 10 minutes.But we waited for 40 minutes, still no result. Again contacted call center and result released by 20:30hrs.My concern is that we are paying such a big amount to get the result. If it takes this long, then we should have gone to regular test which costs within 100 aed.I am raising this issue so that another person should not have such experience

Maybe they have good doctors but not much with other staff members, nurses are non responsive and inexperienced, maybe also understaffed, other than the long long waiting time in the ER, then to get admitted to one of the rooms took forever, because they don’t want to get you into one of the rooms, I believe it affects their KPI or something, such slow and inefficient management.we had to talk on the phone with someone who is a higher up to get admitted which is an inconvenience to us and to him.Adding: just checked nurses are understaffed, 2 nurses only by floor of 10+ patients, of course they will be grunting slow and irresponsive with all that load, of course for this medical company what matters is the money, how much can you get with the least staff you can employ.

I have been very well taken care of during my stay at Burjeel medical city by all medical staffs and everybody else concerned.Dr G Koshy (cardiologist) carried out thorough investigations and provided appropriate management for my condition. Very competent doctorMr Shafeek Kakkadan the patient care representative was very helpful in all ways possible and took very good care of us.In general I was very satisfied with the care given to me and will surely recommend other patients to come to this health facility

Im a cancer patients, only one time I went the hospital, from doctor side they said I need to do the SCAN, but there call center team & there supporting team are not helpfull at all... They dont care about us... From morning on words I was call them to do my scan.everytime they says they will call after call 5 time they transfer my call to Radiology department they says they are full..But from there side, they dont care, day by day Im getting sick... But they dont care....Even for the first day for the appointment also. They didnt take my appointment, so I went walk in.... Really they dnt care.My doctor Dr. Thanda, she is really nice... But the supporting team 😞.I do my ovary operation in Phoenix hospital , they care about people.they much better.....Please we need your support please help us ...

The purpose for me coming here was for treatment but having stayed here for the past weeks has made me realize that staying in a pleasant environment amongst such friendly, professional and dedicated staff enhances your well-being hence favours speedy recovery.My heartfelt gratitude to Dr Georgey Koshey (consultant cardiologist) and Dr Rashed(consultant orthopaedic) for having displayed their professionalism in their respective fields. They have been blessed with the abilities to turn the apprehension I had prior to treatment and surgical interventions into reassurance and confidence in the level of care I was to be given. They undeniably inspire trust.Special mention goes to Dr Salma Issam from the physiotherapy department, a very calm, caring, attentive and sweet lady I have come across and who will go at all length to ensure that a smooth recovery is guaranteed.To the general staff, we will not be able to leave this place without mentioning the three stars who have been so dear to our hearts and who have outshone everybody in their respective cadres:Mr Ainomugisha Mandeti, the outgoing security personnel on our floor, the very first person to greet us everyday with his beaming smile and words of encouragement and ensuring our safety at all times.Mrs Tika Maya Bhandari , the very soft and sweet lady with her motherly touch who will always greet us with a loving smile, comforting us irrespective of her language barrier. She always ensured that our room was always spotlessly clean outshining all her other colleagues from the housekeeping department.The very humble and smart Mr Shiv Charan Yadav from the Keitas Department who brought joy to us with his very good sense of humour and who was always there to ensure that our needs were met. He would be a very important asset to any hospitality establishment for his skillfullness and attention to details.Last but not least, I wish to say a big Thank You to all the staff of the Burjeel Medical City for all that you are and all that you do.Blessings to you all.

I wanted to share my experiences with Burjeel Hospital, MBZ Abu Dhabi.My wife delivered a baby Girl yesterday were she got excellent greetings and hospitality apon arrival.The Medical staff are very welcoming and expert in taking good care of patients.Dr. Preyanka and the medical team were very caring, patient and very supportive before and after the delivery process.Thank you Burjeel.Waleed

I went to visit after I was told I dont need appointment to see GP doctor over the phone. When I went there I was greeted at reception and asked to present my Emirates ID and Insurance. After few minutes, I was told that I cant see any doctor at that hospital as the insurance is under process due to hospital being new. I asked if there is any other way but I kept getting the same answer. Which I dont understand. I was advice to see another medical facility. They should have mentioned all that over the phone instead of wasting my time. I understand the hospital is new but Daman is the most common insurance. If that insurance is not acceptable, I dont know what to say.
